Dear @Backlit
If their role is to serve people in charitable programs, let them do that work.
Maybe it is given to others to do the individual one on one counseling that it takes to teach learn and understand.

What is wrong with different people playing different roles?

The person gifted in plumbing should not waste time and talent trying to teach clarinet. Let the clarinet teacher do that part.

What if we focused on the Good contributions each group specializes in.

It makes more sense to me to feature a Trumpet player on notes they play well.
Not complaining they can't play the flute part. If they aren't designed for that purpose why set them up to fail?
Doing that good work at the expense of the gospel does nothing except sending healthy people to hell. This has nothing to do with the various gifts and roles in the church. Nowhere does it say that those who helped at tables... Supplied food... Nursed the sick and visited prisons, were exempted from preaching the truth. Stephen, the first martyr, was a deacon serving tables, yet he also preached the gospel, even in the face of great opposition.
The modern notion, confirmed by the agreement between Catholics and Lutherans a couple of decades ago, that Rome is now more in agreement with Protestant concepts of salvation... Justification and sanctification etc... Is a deception. Rome cannot change, and she never has... notwithstanding the corner wording of those documents. Her gospel is not in accordance to scripture. Scripture had never been the benchmark for Catholic dogma, doctrine, or Canon law.

Whatever. Got anything intelligent to say?

Christ and His church are one! Acts 9:4

If Christ has authority (Matt 28:18 all authority) to change the commandments (Matt 5) then his church has authority!

Jn 20:21-23 The apostles in His church that He founded on Peter (Matt 16:18) and the apostles and their successors has the same mission, power, and authority as Jesus Christ!

What authority does Christ have?
What power does Christ have?
What mission does Christ have?

The holy church, the apostles have the same authority, power, and mission, Christ choose successors to continue His mission, the apostles have the same authority! Jn 20:21-23

Jesus Christ continues HIS ministry in His new covenant church thru Peter, the apostles, and their successors with the same mission, power, and authority!
Mt 16:18 Mt 28:19 Acts 1:17 acts 8:31 & 35 acts 9:4 Lk 10:16 Jn 8:32 Jn 13:20 Jn 15:5 Jn 16:13 Jn 20:21-22 eph 2:20 acts 2:42 1 Tim 3:15

Lk 10:16
He who hears you hears me...

John 13:20
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

Jn 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Keys of authority! And power to bind and loose! Matt 16:18 and Matt 18:18

Moral authority:
(Teaching)
Necessity of being taught by Christ:
Two edge sword: defining truth and condemning errors, and Interpreting scripture.

Jurisdictional authority:
(Governing / administering)
Necessity of Peter and the apostles and their successors to govern the holy church.

Spiritual authority:
(Life of Grace)
Sanctifying thru the mass and Sacraments the abundant life of grace!

Christ and His church are one, what Christ did the church continues to do, the church is an extension of Christ!
To attack the church is to attack Christ!
Acts 9:4

Where does it say n the bible that His Church is the roman catholic church?

The church is Catholic: (universal)

Jn 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Jn 3:17
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Jn 1:29
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Matt 5:14
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Matt 13:38
The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

Matt 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Matt 28:18-20
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

Mark 16:15-16
And he said to them, Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Jn 1:9
That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

Jn 4:42
And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

Jn 14:26
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

Jn 6:33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

Jn 8:12
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Jn 10:36
Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world...

Jn 12:47

And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world

Jn 16:12-13
I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them
now. When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.

2 cor 5:18
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us (the whole world) to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

World = Universal = Catholic

You're in denial of reality, using Word Games to pretend there are no legitimate denominations that exist.
The Bible has no denominations only the one true church! Glory to God!
How could Christ have hundreds of brides?
Just one!
One
Holy
Catholic
Apostolic!

Christ did not divorce his bride for heretical Protestant sects!

Heb 2:13 And again, I will put my trust in him... (Jesus)

Psalm 146
Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Lord, O my soul. While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being. Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

Jesus must be God!

That church whose hierarchy is headquartered in Rome.
That's "The Catholic Church" - and there is only ONE.

"Roman"
simply refers to ONE of about TWENTY Liturgical Rites that comprise the ONE Catholic Church.
Some of the others include the Melkite, Byzantine, Maronite, Alexandrian, Coptic, etc. - and they are ALL part of the ONE Catholic Church.

You anti-Catholics need to do your homework . . .

acts 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

we live in Jesus, the way, truth and life

Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

GOD IS JUDGE

2 Timothy 4:1
...Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge thequick and the dead at his appearing andhis kingdom;

Jesus is judge
