Utter nonsense.

Much love!
How else did the 1st century, "holiness and separation from the world and it's lusts" church, evolve into modern "gay" churches and "gay" Bibles?

Well, perhaps people were enticed by their lusts and drawn away into sin?

* Fun Facts *
My church, which strongly teaches the eternal security of the redeemed, is not a homosexual church.

You are just bashing "OSAS", and in a rather distasteful way.

It's SSAD! (Same Sex Attraction Disorder)

Much love!

Question, if you knew somebody who was a gay believer in Christ , would you recommend them to go to an OSAS church or a church that preaches holiness?
Also, can an actively practicing, Christian, believing homosexual be lost per OSAS doctrine?

What?

Do you have to be frightened into not sinning?

I'm thinking that one of the ways we can know we are reborn is that we are changed to not have the same attitude we used to have towards sin.

Seriously, are you thinking that God uses threats of hellfire to get His kids to obey Him? This isn't "either/or" as if you have to choose between "OSAS" and sanctification.

To your question . . . I would recommend a church that teaches the permanence of rebirth, and how this leads us to live holy lives.

Check out this passage:

1 John 3:1-3 KJV
1) Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2) Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3) And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Having the certain expectation that we will in fact be conformed to be like Jesus, this hope is what leads us to purify ourselves, to live holy lives.

You don't get there through threats and intimidation. It's a matter of trust.

Much love!

God threatens those that are not His children with hell fire.

it is plain as that.

Unrepentant/unregenerated believers included.

can a person who actively knows to do something, but refuses to do it lose salvation? How about the one who continually drives 10 MPH over the speed limit? Or the person who continually shows up to work 10 minutes late and takes 15 minutes extra for lunch?

If I know a person who is a sinner, No matter what their sin was. I would first want them to find Jesus in salvation (until then their is no hope of breaking sin) then I would pray, teach and allow God to work on this with their sin issue.

yep

He who believes is not condemned

He who does not believe is condemned already

No baptism..
So, the church of Rome skipped Acts 2:38 like you did?

Paul ended Peter's command to sinners after Acts 19:5?

He shortened it?

Romans was written to unsaved sinners?

An Epistle is a letter to sinners, not saints?

Are you a becoming saints' mail robber like the seminarians are?

I hope not.

Speeding is a sin?

Getting fired is a sin?

Telling someone to ignore Acts 2:38 is a real sin.

All sinners must obey Acts 2:38 to become righteous.

If someone skips any part of it, they are not part of God's holy sainthood.

Yes. You are breaking the law. For selfish desires. You are feeding the flesh

lol.. Then why do you disobay it. and try to replace baptism of the spirit with water? Blasphemy!!!!

You also just proved you have no idea what sin is. So it makes sense now why you believe the way you do

I believe that being reborn is forever.

What you call "OSAS".

OSAS teachers and Acts 2:38 skippers created "Gay" churches.

And this is what you have to say?
And you wonder how it offends?

Well, I've not created a "gay" church, now, have I?

Teach "OSAS", and that's equal to promoting homosexuality?

Much love!
Teaching OSAS is tantamount to promoting homosexuality, because the whole premise behind the OSAS doctrine is that a converted Christian can willfully sin and engage as many abominable practices and lifestyles as they want with no consequences, completely contradicting Christ and the other apostles' teaching about how a Christian is obligated to live a holy life. The subtle nature of heresies is that they all promote sin using the slight of hand.

Where do you get this idea from??

That doesn't describe me, or anyone I know who thinks that we are permanently reborn. It sounds made up. If that's so, it's a Straw Man, not worthy of debate.

Is there someone who thinks that way?

And you would really mean then that telling someone that God has saved them to the uttermost, telling them that Jesus EVER LIVES to make intercession for them, or ask rhetorically who will condemn them? That saying such things to the believer is to promote in them ALL MANNER of sin.

Is that what you mean?

Much love!

Is every law of the land sin if disobeyed?

No? Right. Well, the command of Peter per Acts 2:38 disobeyed, is sin.

Per Acts 2:38, repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and receiving the Holy Ghost are all 3 a prerequisite to be saved.

It is you fellers that only want some of it, dismissing the rest.

You teach the Spirit TRUMPS the water.

That's wild!
