Other than prayer, going to ones knees is a rather outdated notion...but in times past when one went to their knees, in public, it was to plead for something.... I admit that in my lifetime I had never seen this happen... Only watching the film, OUT OF AFRICA, and seeing the heroine fall to her knees before the governor to plead for land for the tribes who lived on her own reclaimed land had I ever seen it in its true context...to fall to one knees to plead... in the case for land .... in the end we will all be on our knees before a righteous GOD... will you then be pleading or will it be in reverence of love? You have been given a chance to come to HIM in the flesh now to plead...to ask for forgivenss for a life unclean, sinfilled, unable to reach the mark...and if you do then on the last day of this earth age you can fall to you knees in love rather than in a pleading way...To see that woman fall to her knees brought me to tears for a lost world who will be pleading likeiwise to GOD to not wiipe them off the face of eternity...many of you who are "churched" think it will be too late...for you have judged the world and find it lacking... I say thank GOD you are not the judges of the world, but God who is a zillion times more just and loving than you...Go to your knees... plead now for forgiveness...on your knees...before the only ONE who can help...

Nevermind 1 Corinthians 6: [2] Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?[3] Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?[4] If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.[5] I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?

SHALL future tense:::::Corinthias 6 is not speaking of this age IF God gives you the role of Judge it will be in the next age, not this one... he has not set you to judge anyone at this time and warns you against it.. why not read Romans 14:10-13 Romans 14:10 "But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ."Romans 14:12 "So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God."Romans 14:13 "Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way." and BTW do you understand anything about CONTEXT.. when you pull scripture out or context and use it to twist the turth of the Word you are acting just as Satan did in the desert...Satan wants to be God and to sit in the throne and you also are taking the place of God in your judging the world.. God has NOT appointed you to any throne and I seriously doubt He ever will for your judgement here has been proven very shaky to say the least..... you told a woman to submit to her husband and never even ask if he was doing the right things in ther marriage...How wise was that?

this is really good advise. i think to do it at home at night before bed, but never do. i pray in the car or just during the day, but i think i need to get on my knees when i get home and ask for forgiveness for being such a prideful, ungrateful jerk. that would do it for today anyway....then maybe he could help me overcome that affliction of my heart.....most days, my mustard seed is really very small.....but his grace pulls me thru, somehow, always....maybe this gets easier for the seasoned born again christian, but for the relatively new fleshy heart, like me in my second year, some days it just aint that fun.....not that it is supposed to be totally joyous. i always hear about those that get saved and their feeling of peace and joy right away, but that didnt happen to me. i am often more miserable now than when i was before, but maybe its cause i am aware of my sin now. before i just didnt care.....praise God either way in my case!woody
