"it's easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled"

“A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.” – Mark Twain (?)

"If you don't know where you are going, you'll end up somewhere else." - Yogi Berra (former NY Yankees catcher)

LOL. Yeh inquisitive minds want to know. :D
Obviously. ;) And now they do.
I'd still take a parachute over a raft. I mean, come on. If parachutes aren't viable, why do the emergency doors open in flight, rather than only on a hard landing in water?
And the under seat life vests? That's if you live after impact with the water!

What if you're over the central U.S? No water for miles. Strap on that chute, open those doors and go for it. What's the risk?
YOU'RE IN A CRASH SITUATION!
What? Oh, you don't have training to use a chute! REALLY?
You might get hurt if you don't know what you're doing.

Dogs prefer to sniff good smells with their left nostril. (So if a dog sniffs you with their right nostril, you likely need a shower. lol)
How can you tell which nostril is the sniffer?

The History of the Pencil
Pencil History: The Earliest Forms of Self Expression
Did you know that modern pencils owe it all to an ancient Roman writing instrument called a stylus? Scribes used this thin metal rod to leave a light, but readable mark on papyrus (an early form of paper). Other early styluses were made of lead, which is what we still call pencil cores, even though they actually are made of non-toxic graphite. But pencil history doesn’t stop there…

Graphite came into widespread use following the discovery of a large graphite deposit in Borrowdale, England in 1564. Appreciated for leaving a darker mark than lead, the mineral proved so soft and brittle that it required a holder. Originally, graphite sticks were wrapped in string. Later, the graphite was inserted into hollowed-out wooden sticks and, thus, the wood-cased pencil was born!

Nuremberg, Germany was the birthplace of the first mass-produced pencils in 1662. Spurred by Faber-Castell (established in 1761), Lyra, Steadtler and other companies, an active pencil industry developed throughout the 19th century industrial revolution.

This is suppose to be a true fact.
NASA, the American space agency, spent billions trying to invent a pen that would write in zero gravity space.
The Russian space program used a pencil.

Cover the one at a time and see which one detects the smell .
Now what i am about to say is going to be gross , but its true .
Smell comes from taste . When the nose inhales it hits a part of the tongue , and the message is sent to the brain .
So in essence , when you smell a nasty dumpster its really you tasted the thing . That seems nasty i know .

I knew about that one. That's why, at least for me, if I have a cold and I'm congested but I want to know what dinner smells like as it wafts through the kitchen, I open my mouth a little and the aromas register.
Same with perfumes, flowers, etc.... during those times.

Real laws still on the books in the USA
  • In Missouri, you cannot, under any circumstances, drive with an uncaged bear in your car.

I wanna see the cop brave enough to walk up to the driver side and write the ticket.

  • Oklahoma warns that you can expect to pay a fine if you make ugly faces at someone’s dog.
  • Memphis, Tennessee, doesn’t have a problem with women driving, but they must be proceeded by a man waving a red flag.

Here’s another.

If Jesus said do it, do it.
If He said don’t, don’t.
That is beautiful dear sister . Let it be said again . IF JESUS said do we do and if HE said not to do we do not do .
Wonderful words sister . Now let all who name the glorious name of JESUS , PRAISE the NAME OF THE LORD .
