When you throw insults around, one can assume you see the other as the enemy. I have seen others view someone who didn't vote the way they did as an enemy.

Now, I realize I probably should not have said Republican party and said instead the party you have chosen as all parties can look at the other as the enemy.

I'm not sure about the rest of your post. So, I will answer as I have read it. Persuaded by this thread? The thread itself hasn't persuaded me to see anything it has tried to accomplish. I believe in masks, the vaccines, etc. I still wear my mine indoors publicly. I have to wear it for work anyway.

My correction is on point then. I really should have said your chosen party. That is my mistake and I am sorry!

I thought Trump would be a good president, so I voted for him in 2016, but watching him for four years showed me that I was wrong. So, I voted against him.

I am also more than a one issue voter. There is more than abortion to me. Healthcare is one of those issues.

Of course the "covid" statistic has obviously ignored all those whose deaths were NOT directly due to "covid", but had been falsely attributed to "covid" typical of having fallen off a roof, etc.

I encourage those who are on the fence to look at all the facts. That is facts from both side of the debate and make an informed decision.

That is what I did and I chose to be vaccinated.

You should have been around here early on my dear friend .
I did do my research . And as some brave folks , well known doctors had warned about , WELL ITS NOW COMING to pass .
The mrna research worked well with an animal group years ago .
At the beginning they injected group this type of vaccine . ALL looked well . VERY GOOD anti bodies were produced .
THEN both the vaccinated group and the unvaccinated group were given the virus .
IT DIDNT BODE WELL with the vaccinated group . THE IMMUNE SYSTEM WENT INTO HYPER DRIVE
killing more and more severe cases were found amongst the vaccinated group .
They kanked it for a bit . THEN COVID POPS UP and instead of re doing the animal trials , THEY PUT US HUMANS AS TRIAL RATS .
KEEP IN MIND the error was never fixed . SO i suspect
some folks are gonna beg , plead , holler and cry when they find themselves sicker and dying later on .
The news is slick so watch out .
THEY even admit the vaccinated are getting the virus now . THEY THEN turn it around and say , BUT only a small group of those die

WHAT IS the difference NOW between back then in the overall percentages of those going into hospitals and getting sick enough
to even die . ITS THE SAME . AND WORSE , WORSE i worry that some who already got the vaccine
are gonna have those hyper immune responses seen in the animals . SINCE you already had it , I wont bother telling you not to get it .

I want people to look at both sides of the debate and make an informed decision. That is all. If they get it, they get and if not, than the don't. I don't want them listening to one side or the other, hence the informed decision.

That is exactly what I did. I looked at both sides and made my informed decision. I also have a girlfriend with an auto-immune disease, an ex-wife with hardly any immune system, a mother with COPD and I have moderate to severe asthma. I had to weigh all that as well when making my decision.

To top it off you talk of abortion as one of your main sticking points yet you support that nation state of Israel where abortion is not only legal but almost free ,how do you explain this ?

The Differences is Democrats foster Dependence on Government the Republicans foster Independence. Where Both fail is that they both fail to see the need and foster interdependence in their Policies, and that is because Both sides are out to take power away from the people, One on the social front the other on the economic front.

Now Most people understand dependence and independence, Dependence weakens by tying the individual to the handout of the Government. Independence as the counter to that empowers the individual through economic means in capitalist system to be free from this dependence, But in so doing robs the individual of their community well being and isolates them making them Islands unable to unite. Interdependence is where true empowerment comes and neither democrats nor republicans want this, For when this happens there is no need for authority to rule down on the people, for the people in independence and community rule themselves.
