Jesus tells us to do unto other as we would have them unto us.I have been using this wisdom in many of my making dicisions and discernment. I ask everyone to please forgive me for not listing up many verses. My purpose in the forums are trying to reach out to young and new believers as many as I can. And I also am not big on good communication department. Therefore I am making as simple and clear as I can by not listing up many verses. I believe simplicity is the kei to reach out to many people. I dont read long and complicated posts and think many people feel the same way.I ask eveyone to understand what I am doing here.:angel9: thank you,

It is the Word of God, not the words of man, that is the power unto Salvation, Faithful1. People come to believe in Christ by the Word of God: Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.To offer counsel without the Word of God seems to me, Faithful1, to be working backwards. What better counsel is there than the Word of God?

I am following Jesus' advice. Isn't Jesus' word the center of our discipleship? Do you even realize Jesus is saying do unto others as you would have them unto you?

??????? same as the above.I don't think I'm following you: what's your point? I never said not to use the Bible.

I am sorry, I missed the word "many" and thought that you said you did not want to be writing out verses at all. My apologies. It is still a good idea to provide as much support from the Word of God as possible, as it is our final authority in faith and practice.

Yes, and we must be careful on how we use that Word of God. It is my final authority and it will stay that way.
