Christ and His church are one! Acts 9:4

If Christ has authority (Matt 28:18 all authority) to change the commandments (Matt 5) then his church has authority!

Jn 20:21-23 The apostles in His church that He founded on Peter (Matt 16:18) and the apostles and their successors has the same mission, power, and authority as Jesus Christ!

What authority does Christ have?
What power does Christ have?
What mission does Christ have?

The holy church, the apostles have the same authority, power, and mission, Christ choose successors to continue His mission, the apostles have the same authority! Jn 20:21-23

Jesus Christ continues HIS ministry in His new covenant church thru Peter, the apostles, and their successors with the same mission, power, and authority!
Mt 16:18 Mt 28:19 Acts 1:17 acts 8:31 & 35 acts 9:4 Lk 10:16 Jn 8:32 Jn 13:20 Jn 15:5 Jn 16:13 Jn 20:21-22 eph 2:20 acts 2:42 1 Tim 3:15

Lk 10:16
He who hears you hears me...

John 13:20
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

Jn 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Keys of authority! And power to bind and loose! Matt 16:18 and Matt 18:18

Moral authority:
(Teaching)
Necessity of being taught by Christ:
Two edge sword: defining truth and condemning errors, and Interpreting scripture.

Jurisdictional authority:
(Governing / administering)
Necessity of Peter and the apostles and their successors to govern the holy church.

Spiritual authority:
(Life of Grace)
Sanctifying thru the mass and Sacraments the abundant life of grace!

Christ and His church are one, what Christ did the church continues to do, the church is an extension of Christ!
To attack the church is to attack Christ!
Acts 9:4

You're really all over the place. Having a little trouble getting a bead on what your position is.

Are you claiming the Catholic Church is not man made?

I have family members who are good hearted Christians, namely our Catholic Aunt Seraphine and Methodist Great Gram. Along with the good hearted came the terrible. I have a family member who was raised Catholic and even went to the then Franciscan monastery Duns Scotus. The family member would end up in jail over child molestation charges. The Catholic Duns Scotus would eventually be bought by the Word of Faith pastor Keith Butler and now runs 22,000 in attendance. I wish my family member would have had his religious education Word of Faith!

You can’t tell me the Catholic is the true church after examining the history and my own family members!

19 The foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. - 2 Timothy 2

Excellent and most do

The union of the holy church founded by Christ on Peter and the apostles is such that it cannot be harmed by the sins of men!

Automatic excommunication is incured upon the exercise of the intellect and will to teach error or Hersey or to commit grave sin!

So the bride is spotless and without blemish!

The members of Christ in communion with God and each other are in a state of sanctifying grace!

We deplore the sins and outrages of abuse, most of which is done by homo’s on young boys, in any group especially those calling themselves Christian, the communists began infiltration in the seminary’s in the 30’s and the modernist’s and homo’s in the 60’s and 70’s

This is a symptom of error and Hersey
Modernism or theological liberalism, of the modern apostasy and nowhere does the true church teach anyone to do these things, nor do the Protestant sects which have the same issues!

Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

You really do confuse A and B.
A. being on the same page with others.
B. being one and the same being.

Discernment, my friend. Pray for it and God will give it to you through his son.

Ask and you shall receive good advice

Christ and his church he founded are one

so let me ask you did Christ found a church?

The Church Christ built upon Peter, and the other apostles, is a spiritual church - not a physical one. That is why you can search the world over for the one true church, the one true denomination, etc, but you will never find it because it is spiritual and thus discerned spiritually - and can only be discerned by the Holy Spirit's guidance.

It is the church of the Elect of God. It is the Spiritual Israel. Those who were foreknown and predestined by God to Salvation.

They are not all one denomination. They are not all one race. They don't even live in the same places in the world.

They are scattered, just as Jesus prophesied they would be around the same time He told Peter that He would build His church upon him. (Matthew 26:31)(Zechariah 13:7-9)

God prophesied through Zechariah that He would strike the Shepherd (crucifixion of Christ) and scatter the sheep (saints/true followers of Christ) and two thirds of those He would eliminate through attrition. (So if you believe the church Christ founded became the Catholic Church, you are mistaken.)

Here we have a parallel verse from Daniel 7:25 that coincides with this - the wearing out of the saints.

"And he shall speak great words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, ..."

These are those who God is allowing/has allowed to fall away from the Truth due to the man that Daniel 7:25 is referring to. Who is that man? Many believe it can only be the Pope of the Catholic Church who also changed the times and the seasons (Sabbaths) and that his message and twisting of God's Word is what pries the weakest saints away from their God-given faith. One of the main ways this happens is by putting their faith in their church and church leaders, rather than developing/receiving a love for the Truth (2 Thessalonians 2:10) and delving into God's Word for themselves which resulted in being destroyed for a lack of knowledge of God's Word. (Hosea 4:6)

God goes on to say in Zechariah 13:9 that the final third of the saints of Christ will be tested thoroughly, and strengthened, and troubled through trials and tribulations, but they will never stop calling out to Him and praying and seeking Him and, in turn, He will never stop saving them from their troubles and developing their spirit and they will ultimately attain salvation.

So there's a significant portion of scripture that does not support the Catholic Church as Thee one true faith.

Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Dan 2: 44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

Isaiah 2:2
And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

Micah 4:1
But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.

Lk 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

The church is the body of Christ and a body is physical

Matthew 5:14-16
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Are you sure?

God has a face and ears and hands and a back and feet, He sits and rises, etc.

Exodus 33:20 " … you cannot see My face, for man shall not see Me and live."
Exodus 33:23 "Then I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back, but My face shall not be seen."
Hebrews 10:31 "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God."
Psalm "I cried unto God … He gave ear unto me."
Psalm 77:19 " … Thy footsteps are not known."
Psalm 74:3 "Lift up Thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; …"
Acts 7:49 "Heaven is My throne and earth is My footstool."
Psalm 47:8 "... God sitteth upon the throne of His holiness."
Psalm 68:1 "Let God arise, …"
Psalm 132:8 "Arise, O Lord, …"

... but God is a Spirit. (John 4:24)

Perfectly plausible that God's Church is a spiritual bunch.

the one true church is physical and spiritual
Invisible and visible

Rom 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

Romans 6:4
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Acts 2:47
Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

1 Corinthians 1:2
Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their's and our's:

Acts 2:47
Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Ephesians 4:5
One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

Colossians 2:12
Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

Gal 4:19
My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

Titus 3:5
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; (baptism)

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Heb 10:22
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

1 Jn 2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

1 Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

(Born of God) faith and baptism

Jn 1:12-13 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

1 Jn 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

Born of God by baptism

1 pet 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

1 Peter 1:22
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: see Ez 36

Rev 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, (baptism rom 6:3-4)

1 Pet 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us!
(Ark of Noah a type of the church, member of Christ and his church and salvation by baptism!)
(Outside the ark of Noah none were saved, outside the church (the ark of salvation) none are saved!)
