http://koti.phnet.fi/petripaavola/YeshuapromisedMessiah.htmlScriptures says that all Israel (remnant of last days) will be saved and they believe that Yeshua is the Messiah! In the last days being remnant of Israel will be saved after they have repented and believed that Yeshua is the Messiah and so all Israel will be saved! Blessed is this promise and may G_d bless Israel in the Messiah!

Quoting Adolph Saphir;"Love to Israel, such as Moses and Paul felt, is a ray from the ineffable ocean of light which is in God. The Apostle, when he speaks of his great grief on account of Israel's unbelief, is conscious that this feeling is not merely one of natural patriotism and affection, but of the Spirit, by virtue of his union with Christ...The Gentile Church founded by Paul has not remained Pauline...Let us give then our aid to the Jewish Mission, in faith, in love, in hope, and let us seek to enter into the mind of God, and to look forward to the great promise which all the fathers embraced, and held fast even unto the end." (Christ and Israel, Yanetz, pp. 99-113)

I think it would do the Christian church well to preach to the modern day Jew Jesus Christ and Him crucified.Scripturally there abounds so much evidence that no longer is one a Jew physically by blood, but by spirit and heart. That the circumcision through the Mosaic law avails nothing and that if one is in Christ then he is an adopted member of the seed of Abraham. Christian Zionism is the bane and will be the death knell of the Christian church.Who is Israel? Who is the Church?

Yet Judah came from Israel, not the other way around. I think it should be pointed out that when I, in particular, mention Israel I am referring to all the tribes of Israel collectively and not singularly. The whole of the tribes of Israel. If I have a need to speak singularly regarding a particular tribe I will generally use that tribes name, i.e. Asher, Dan, Benjamin, etc.If you have been confused by my use of Israel I apologize.

Agreed. Too bad people often use them interchangeably. The prophesies to the Israelites (the house of Israel) are not the same as to the house of Judah.

Apparently you know nothing of the history of Israel do you? Thats apparent by your posts...before Israel became Israel they considered two names Judah and Israel I bet you can guess which one they chose.

I am not even going there because you don't want to get me started....

I agree with you mr SDAI believe all refferences to Isreal usually means the church. How ever furturests do not buy this concept, because they try to make history fit into scripture instead of using scripture symboliclly using old testiment to interpit.A good study by Desmond Ford would be good here.

There is no church in Scripture apart from the "congregation" or "assembly" of Israel. A small amount of research into the word "church" in Scripture will show this. (Check out a King James version of Acts 7:38 for instance) Our God is a God of covenants...and He keeps them...even when we don't. Our God is the God of Israel....there is no other."Therefore remember, that you once Gentiles in the flesh--who are called uincircumcision by what is called the Circumscision made in the flesh by hands--that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the common wealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who one were far off have been brought near by the blood of Messiah".All Israel will be saved! Newcolors

Hi Jerusalem Junkie (love that name)You make a good point regarding the name Israel.A few years ago I spent a bit of time on this study. In the late 1940's , after WW2 , meetings were being held (by Jews) regarding moving back to Palestine as a homeland. Pretty much everything was in place , Britian and the USA (and other countries) were prepared to endorse the plan for May 14, 1948 but no name had yet been chosen. It was almost a last minute comment by someone at the meeting who out of the blue suggested "Israel" , everyone agreed and so be it.Most interesting (to me) was the Old testament prophecy that had always said .... "in one day you - Israel, will become a Nation"The people (Jews) at the meeting were fulfilling prophecy and didnt even know it. Amazing.May God Bless all the Jewish people on the face of the earth.Arnie M.
