Don’t you wish.... My Doctrines contain TONS of Credibility for “those with eyes to see” ....To mere religionists, as opposed to Christians, they are “ foolishness”....
What I can see is that you are in serious, serious contradiction. You know, like saying sinning to you is like sticking your hand in a fire, and then telling us how you purposely sin every day. That's not only contradictory but quite stupid, too.

Probably not, because I don't believe what you're suggesting is the meaning of the teaching about the new cloth/garment and the new wine/wineskins.
We are in a New Covenant. The new cloth and new wine of the New Covenant was introduced to replace the old covenant, not add to it. Does that mean the laws of the old covenant are tossed out? No. It means what the old covenant sought to do is now accomplished in the framework of the New Covenant. The goal has not changed. How we get there has.
I’m confused, what time in your life was it that you were in this alleged old covenant, was it prior to receiving Christ?

Saying one was in an old covenant with God implies they new God before they knew Christ

and that just doesn’t make any sense to me at all.

No man has been in the old covenant with God since the resurrection. He does not draw men to himself to be in (old) covenant with Himself anymore. What mankind has been in all this time is the condemnation of the old covenant law. I was under the condemnation of the law of the old covenant prior to receiving Christ, not in the old covenant itself.

The old covenant revealed God in a limited sense, as signified by Moses seeing the backside of God, and not His face, when God stuffed Him in the cleft of the rock as He passed by. In this New Covenant we see and know the full glory of God in the face of Christ.

So the great stone too heavy for man to remove rolled away from the mouth of the grave by the Lord when he called “come forth out from the grave” is only to those under the Old Testament? Then why do we speak of the stone rolled away by God …His body buried and His resurrection unto Life if there was never a great stone nor a burial…in saying this removing of ‘the stone’ does not apply to everyone kept under sin and death?

@VictoryinJesus What the Lord did at the Resurrection is all part of the glorious victory, 1 Corinthians 15.57... :)

or could say: they knew the wrath of men (the ministration of death) before they knew the mercy and long patience of God who is long suffering (the ministration of the Spirit)…kept to be revealed in Matthew 16:15-17 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? [16] And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. [17] And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

@VictoryinJesus There is always the work of the Spirit of God in providence in the hearts and circumstances of those who will truly believe later...

Despite the law everyone knew from birth. And that's aspects of the law that one will never learn from a change of heart or the Spirit.
Love fulfills everything. This is an interesting thought.

Love leads me to preserve life, so I don't kill. Love brings benevolence so I don't hate. Love rejoices in another's joy, so I don't covet.

Trust makes me rest in Christ, so I don't strive to be accepted by God, which is the fulfillment of the Sabbath.

But it is a very interesting question to me . . . how then is keeping the Sabbath in the OT fashion faith being expressed in love?

What is there in living in faith and love that tells us to separate a day apart from the others?

Much love!

Wrong again.
We sin, we confess, we are forgiven, and it is forgotten. Mostly people do not sin by accident.
It is not to much for Christ to expect us to learn from our mistakes and bring our lives in accord with the Christian morals expressed in the New Testament.
Then again, what is person that has no control of themselves?
What is a person that does not know the ramification for sins?
But it is important to know the biblical sins. Too many times people beat themselves up over sins that are not sins at all. Which in part is the point of this thread. Discussing what are real sins.
But what about those that have mental and emotional issues?
For the most part the Bible explanations physical and mental issues as demons.
And I have seen physical and emotional issues healed in churches.
But what about those that have to relay on psych medications and some medicate themselves with things like marijuana or for physical problems CBD. Is Christ going to hold that against you? Is it a sin? How many struggle with this?
Now I warn against sinful lifestyles, because you cannot repent for something you intend to keep doing, so you cannot get forgiveness for it.
But mental/emotional issues and chronic physical issues, and all the ups and downs that is involved with that, is that sinful lifestyles? No, there is nothing to repent of. Nothing to ask forgiveness for. Some of these people live their own personal hell.
Just like the rest of us they need to pray everyday. Talk it out with God and pray for healing and the strength to do the best they can. But there is no one more understanding than Christ. Their salvation is just as solid as anybody else's. Their afflictions are not sins. For them the Christian thing to do is to do the best they can. They should give their testimonies so to help others that struggle with life.

Sinning or not Sinning is not the issue.....The Sin Issue was dealt with at the Cross....all the sins of the entire world have been paid for .....the question becomes will you “ cash- in” to what has already been accomplished FOR you? We cash- in by Faith and Faith alone—- Simply Believe the Gospel Of 1Cor15:1-4.....

Some people really need to “ dial down” the SIN Conscienceness and become more * SON* Conscience......

His willful sinning being the evidence of that.

If you do not have the intellectual prowess or the self- insight to see that 90% of your sins are “ willful” , debating with you will continue to be the waste of time that it has always been.....

Your “ willful sin” obsession springs from your continued ignorance in regard to Hebrews 10..... proper teaching about Hebrews 10 is very available and a nine year old could figure it out when it is explained properly IN CONTEXT! Of course, you think it is a sign of weakness or something to listen to any of God’s Blessed Teachers out there that are inspired by God......You are “ Stiff-Necked.....you INSIST on “ going it alone” and as I have often said— “ Boy, does it show!”.....

New Covenant “ Sabbathing” is RESTING in Paul’s Gospel Of Grace , Given to Him by Jesus.....If one refuses to Rest in the Gospel Of Grace, If one insists on Adding to it with “ Lucky Repentance” or anything else , God will see you as “ Disobedient” and guilty of “Unbelief”—— Spiritual descendants of those Jews that lacked the Faith to enter the Promised Land and wasted away in the Sinai.....

Wrong (again). The blood is not to weak to cover them. The unrepentant 'believer' stopped believing in the blood that can cover them. His willful sinning being the evidence of that. You can't do that and be a believer at the same time.

Ultimately, the willfully unrepentant 'believer' is not really a believer. Was he ever a believer? What does it matter? He's in unbelief, now. And no unbeliever has eternal life in them. And so they have no promise of the life to come. If they did they wouldn't be purposely and willingly living in sin.

8The one who practices sin is of the devil...
9Anyone born of God refuses to practice sin, because God’s seed abides in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.
10By this the children of God are distinguished from the children of the devil: Anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God
1 John 3:8-10

What an Amazing example of Contorted,Twisted Bible “ Teaching”...... I hope Newbies see that all of this clap- trap is unbiblical.....This guy delivers up a bunch of religious mumbo- jumbo and has deluded himself into thinking that it is Scriptural— Trust me—- It Ain’t ......The Grace that actually Saves a Sinner does not exist in his Religious World.......

I think one of the things I find most surprising among fellow believers is their inability to just let others believe differently than them.
Not everyone likes attacking and being attacked by those who they disagree with. Time to go back to Love 101.
It's like, "I have to convince others that I am right in order to be convinced that I am right." I can tell someone if I believe they're in error, but after that, if they don't believe and truly are wrong, I'm resolved of my responsibility and their blood is on their head.
Then they're God's responsibility. It is my job to live, as far as it is in my power to do so, at peace with others. Sure, your heart is sanctified! Gimme a break. There's a river in Egypt called Denial.
Indeed and God called His son out of Egypt... out of bondage! His sons are in different places to accomplish different tasks for God and as He directs them for Him and for themselves. Because someone else's road seems very different than ours does not mean that we must coerce them into following the way we are walking at the moment. God always knows what He is doing.

"When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt." Hosea 11:1

I can not help that you do not believe 1 John 3. If that is 'religious mumbo-jumbo' to you then only God can help you.

The Grace that actually Saves a Sinner does not exist in his Religious World.
The grace that actually saves a sinner CHANGES HIM. If it doesn't, then that sinner does not have the grace that actually saves. I did not say this, John did. Walking the path of victory over sin is the sign of God's grace in a person. An empty, hypocritical confession of faith is not. But many, many people in the church today think it is. John says to not be deceived by them.

What mankind has been in all this time is the condemnation of the old covenant law. I was under the condemnation of the law of the old covenant prior to receiving Christ, not in the old covenant itself.
How can I be under condemnation of a law I was never given an opportunity to fulfill?

bottom line is the law was never presented to me ie I was never presented any covenant other than grace. Which is in my opinion a covenant I enter in coming into agreement with God. That I need Christ.
