To me, it's not about the tattoos and other adornments at all. This song made me literally cry, both for my own need of God and for our countries need for him to rescue us from our sins.
I'm encouraged that a lot of people are responding to it and praising God.
Yes it's hard for me to look past the appearance but God can use any vessel he wants to spread his Word.

I hate what's happening to our countries. The enemies that our prior generations have fought and died for have finally figured out how to defeat us. I'm sorry to say but I think it's all over but the crying. I sure hope I'm wrong.

@Truman Remember 1 Corinthians 15.57-58:

"But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."

If the message and the HEART is what is important, why is your main focus on the tattoos and an agenda to push more Christians to ink up?? I don't get it.

I thought the general message of the song was good. I don't agree with some things I see (and I know some will label me for saying that). I see some people who most likely are new to their faith, speaking what is in their hearts. I know it's a hard pill to swallow, but the outward appearance follows what is in the heart. I do believe they are new in their walks with God. Cleaning up is between us and God.

For the countries or nations of men perhaps so... but

"Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

@TLHKAJ Well, perhaps forget the ink and we can concentrate on bold Biblical testimony, by God's grace. We hope that young Christians can indeed "grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3.18).

Exactly ....tattoos aren't necessary for one's testimony. We have voices. ;)
