Yes. And if anyone is in doubt that the Holy Spirit is God......

"3Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and withhold some of the proceeds from the land? 4Did it not belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? How could you conceive such a deed in your heart? You have not lied to men, but to God!”" Acts 5:3-4

HOORAH Brother - thank you for the reminder

I guess you really do not care
Why wouldn't I care?
I AM was simply the words your translator chose
My translator? I don't have any translators. I refer to roughly 45 different English translations.

See link here: John 8:58 - Parallel

God's name is not I AM
I wouldn't contend that it is, but I have no quarrel with people who say it is.
I always wonder why you guys do that, but in reality I know the reason, after all who is it that doesn't want you to know God's name?
Why do I get the feeling that you're not saying what you really mean here?
And why, oh why, do we have to do the "us-and-them" thing?

:);):cool::p:D

@Robert Gwin

This link might be helpful, as well:

Exodus 3:14 Parallel: And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

God appears to be calling Himself "I AM" in this verse, does He not?

I'm not contending--just making an observation. The object of the sentence within a sentence--the one performing the action--is "I AM." Does it not appear to be so?

Don't stop there - God told us His Name and HE said it is a Eternal Commandment - Exodus 3:15

God also told Moses, “Say to the Israelites,
‘The LORD, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’
This is My name forever, and this is how I am to be remembered in every generation.

Right. The name of God is LORD - not I am.

I don't think they equal. In the beginning of WHAT was the Word? In the beginning of Jesus' ministry. This is a different beginning from Creation.

The Scripture is Self-Explanatory =
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He was with God in the beginning.
Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made.
In Him was life, and that life was the light of men.
The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

There is no need for any type of ??? marks here - unless you have a heart of unbelief.

Trinitarianism is the bigggest idol in Christianity. It's so big, I added another g to big! :)

You better tell everyone this so you can save them - also rip out of your Bible the books of Genesis and Exodus and the Gospel of John, the book of Acts and the book of Revelation as well.
Then you will have a 'cleansed Bible' doing away with the ELOHIM Father ELOHIM Son and ELOHIM Holy Spirit.

Quickly get rid of "Let US make man in Our Image according to Our Likeness."

Not at all. It's just that if the above plural pronoun is important, the singular pronoun in the 1C is even more important. You shall have no gods before me. This includes especially the trinitarian god.

Friend. The trinity is not in the Bible - not the word & not the doctrine.

How could it especially include the trinitarian god if the word is not in the Bible.

Friend (and I mean that), we use lots of words that are not in the Bible to describe doctrines that are genuine. :)

It is especially because that is the dominant God tempting people to violate the 1C.

In this case, you know the trinitarian doctrine is not genuine because it began in the 4th century and goes against Scripture. There is no verse that says The nature of God is a trinity - consisting of the Father, Son & Holy Spirit who are all co-eternal, co-substantial and co-equal and if you do not believe this you cannot be saved but will go to hell.

Jesus says 'follow me.' The trinitarian uses eternal suffering to coerce acceptance of a doctrine not found in Scripture. Jesus did not teach the trinity but said his Father is the one true God. Doesn't that tell you anything?

It's there - you just refuse to accept the clear Order of Genesis that Elohim established before He could make known His Eternal Name to us in Exodus 3: 14-15

Better remove Genesis and Exodus from your bibles as, according to you - they are corrupted.

Well, I think the "you" that you meant was me and not @BarneyFife.

And no. I will not remove any of the unitarian text of Scripure, nor will I impose on the unitarian text trinitarian dogma, such as in Genesis, which like the rest of Scripture does not teach the trinity.

The easiest way to defeat the trinity is to recognize the non-existence of the '3rd person.' Ever notice people pray FOR the Holy Spirit but not TO the Holy Spirit? That's the dead giveaway.
