Hello you,

This topic is a brief overview about Witchcraft, Satanism, of a book found at good-will. Though believe Satan was defeated by Jesus Christ.

The remnants of Satan May still be left on the earth however; as human beings all make the choice to do good or bad. In our mind naturally you, me, whoever is tempted by our own desires.

Darkness is still here and resides with-in us as human beings. Though the only light that can shine through the darkness is the Lord Jesus Christ: I believe because of the deliverance that can be made with placing faith in trusting God and Jesus Christ.

What are some of your thoughts on the topic at hand?

Satan does reside in us... That is where our spiritual war is fought
He is also alive and well in our society, perverting the truth of God in many different ways such as LGBT

Satan resides in you?

Would that mean the Holy Spirit and Satan both are in you? @Cristo Rei please feel free to share what you believe no judgment here.

I believe darkness resides in us; however that darkness can be burned out by the light of Christ.

Jesus defeated Satan personally so that when it was time he was fully prepared to go to the cross. Lots of suffering and pain to go through when he laid down his physical body unto death... but no more temptations in him...

On planet Earth? What about in "planet MatthewG" or "planet Amadeus"?

Jesus said this:

"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." John 16:33

And then he said this:

"And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world..." John 17:11

Jesus was Not talking about planet Earth when he said, "I am not more in the world". He meant, I believe, for him, no more temptation to sin. He had been tempted in all points [Heb 4:15] as a man of flesh but that was all behind him.

For us Jesus has not opened up the Way so that by the power of the Holy Ghost in us, we may also overcome the world of temptation in our own flesh... Who is the adversary?

Ourselves.

This was a exposition of a book found at good will. It is interesting either way it goes. Just like you believe Satan was defeated however there is a long remnant of Satan being here still on earth. People may be drawn into that thing and it has a chance of being people further into getting lost in the “knowledge of the world” rather than the “knowledge of God, His Son, and growing in the spirit”.

It probably bigger than me or you both can imagine good to talk on the topic either way because old topics should be brought up anyway to become aware and reminded of them don’t you think @amadeus.

Am still very lit off this caffeine bad for health.

Thought would respond if you do respond will you do so without use of scripture and talk to me as though where sitting beside you, please friend thank you. It nice to hear from you,

Paul says that evil is with him every step of the way and i feel it too...
Now, of course i have the Holy Spirit with me too but its not always easy discern as Satan appears as an angel of light to deceive

That to me resembles to me the flesh and the spirit. Thank you for sharing @CristineOl

THIS PICTURE IS USEFUL in the fact of how the flesh has its wants and desires and the spirit with its wants and desires.

The flesh vs spirit.

Its interesting that Paul seems to be the only apostle that appears to have a big struggle against evil...
You don't really hear it much from Peter and the rest of the writers...

I wonder if its because Paul rejected Christ for so long which allowed the evil one to build a home in him...
I was a prodigal son for 20 years and i feel that the evil one built a home in me over that period... He knows me very well and i have to always be on my guard to deflect his attacks... Maybe people who have never been away from Christ don't have such a huge home for Satan within them... Im not sure but when Paul talks about spiritual warfare and his struggles against the evil one i feel like his talking about me

A remnant is usually a leftover piece as when my wife used to work as a seamstress. She would make a garment, but after cutting all of the pieces to precise measurements and joining them together, there would be scraps or remnants remaining. She would save any sizable ones for possible use on some other future project. When it come to our adversary, Satan, as servant of God we should want to retain any part of him.

So we win a battle and that devil falls before us because we are fighting on the Lord's side. But then we still are attracted by this or that thing in the world of our flesh so for the moment we quench the Holy Spirit of God. Then, all alone, we are unfit to battle against him, because only in the Lord is there any real power to defeat him.

In the book of Acts a story is told of some men who are envious of the power manifested in the true disciples of Jesus. The envy is their problem and the devil they try to cast out is very aware of it. They try and the devil advises them that he knows about Paul and he knows about Jesus, but not these pretenders. He proceeds to beat the tar out of them.

It probably bigger than me or you both can imagine good to talk on the topic either way because old topics should be brought up anyway to become aware and reminded of them don’t you think @amadeus.
We can walk along carefully following the lead of the Spirit of God until it seems that the "lust of the flesh" and the "lust of the eye" have been left forever behind us. Then we find ourselves puffed up in pride over our accomplishment [of course anything good we did was not done by us alone] and there it comes at us the "pride of life". [See I John 2:15-16]

No matter how long we have walked with the Lord and no matter how experienced we think we are in dealing with our enemies [flesh, adversary and/or Satan] until we have killed them completely in us and Jesus did, we cannot make it alone...

Can we do that, kill them completely? Jesus tells us that God can. Will we allow it? How many times have we had to fight almost identical battles against identical enemies? Since we have had to repeat the battles, apparently the enemies were not finally dead, were they?

Am still very lit off this caffeine bad for health.
Many years ago working at a government office job with free coffee furnished in unlimited quantities I got hooked badly. By myself I was drinking 2 to 3 large pots of black coffee every day. It was hurting my body so I knew I had to quit. Cold turkey coffee quitting efforts resulted in migraine type headaches. So I weaned myself off by diluting the straight stuff with a little decaf for each cup I drank. Over a few weeks time I gradually decrease coffee and increased decaf until there was not more need.

I drink coffee now but limited to weaker coffee with cream and only two cups a day. At age 77 I enjoy it too much to quit completely again. There aren't many pleasures left for this old flesh...

What are some of your thoughts on the topic at hand?

Satan alive and well ON earth?
Absolutely.
He was cast to Earth.
He is a spirit that shall never die.
He has great power, to influence, act, deceive.
Many men, actively participate and purpetuate numerous (in the footsteps of Satan) ways and activities to lead people (beginning with young children) away FROM the Lord God.
..."cartoons", books, games, movies, philosophies, witchcraft, on and on with deceptions to threaten, scare, harm, etc.
...Very Obvious.

It seems to be a battle between our flesh and our spirit.

In James it talks about how you, me, anyone who enticed by a desire gives birth to lust and when that happens normally you, me, whoever end up committing sin.

That sin can relate to ; Adultry; hatred, greed, getting high, going to get a prostitute of the street whatever the lust is when the temptation comes from our desires.

So there is no blaming the devil that it was his fault that the cocaine just so happened to be down the street, three blocks down and the deviled lured me down to that spot. The fact is it was yourself and your enticement of the desire and lust for it.

The battle and struggle may never end however God and Jesus Christ are far more capable and trust worthy to help support us when temptations come and try to entice us and drag us away from God. Being only 30 years old sometimes feel as old as you do being 77. In this life with all of its carnival activities to indulge in will at most effect you in some type of way be it emotionally, positively, negatively and can effect your spiritual health if you are believer in a quenching of the spirit because of sin; which can cause a person to be lead back to even spiritual death and back to a no longer believing person of faith in Christ.

All on an individual level; because all that you, me, whoever can do is try to encourage to go down the right way and that is ultimately to serve God and to love God first and to love others. It would sound to most people very easy thing to however it is the exact opposite it is extremely difficult to the let God work with you for some people. To allow God to work on your heart and to lead you in the spirit takes faith, trust, and confidence that God is there with you helping you through the ups and downs of life in which all experience.

Thank you for a moment of your time (I don’t use my computer anymore hardly right now had the internet cut off but will use phone from time to time).

Thank you again, Ama

Yes. All you have to do is look at the anti-vaccine and anti-masks. You can almost feel the hatred and angry inside these people. They are almost anti-Jesus, with no love inside them.

Yes God and His Son may always be trusted. It is you and me that are so often untrustworthy. God having made us, knows this about us and our weakness better than we do.

It starts so simply as it did Peter, who seeing Jesus walking on the water by faith stepped out on the water as well. How well are we walking on the water now? I am not talking about you or me with our physical bodies walking on the physical chemical H2O: Rather just a real day by day faith in God rather than joining the crowd which makes up the deadly water which can drown us if we look at it instead at the Lord.

Peter loved the Lord, but still he could not help himself as he walked toward Jesus... on the water. He felt like he must look down and around him at the deep water beneath him. To do that he had to take his eyes off of Jesus and he began to sink. But... Jesus was right there for him. Peter understanding his danger called out for help and Jesus was right there stretching out his hand to save him from the mess of world right below his feet.

Physical age can mean little in our relationship with God unless some of those years under our belt have been involved in improving our perceptions of God: Eyes and ears! Until it is all finished, we have trials. Jesus finished his personal trials as a man tempted before he went to the cross. Then on the cross he made it it possible for us to complete our trials and grow toward God.

The temptations are always there for a man until they have been completely overcome. Our flesh demands this. Our eyes demand that. What does God ask of us?

Jesus, whatever he was, had to be a man of flesh like us in order to demonstrate for us what was needed. Seeing it is one thing and doing is another. The full vision of God starts with the seeing. Early on as unbelievers at best we were seeing only a tiny glimmer of Light, a distant Hope offered by God, a Light so bright that like the sun to the natural eyes, it was blinding. Consider the example of Moses when he wanted to see the glory of God! [Exodus 33]

When we become new converts we are given "eyes to see" but our vision is very poor indeed for the details. But to us then having been in extremely dark places it is already blinding and wonderful. Can our vision and our hearing be improved?

Quenching the Spirit is closing your spiritual eyes!

All on an individual level; because all that you, me, whoever can do is try to encourage to go down the right way and that is ultimately to serve God and to love God first and to love others.
That effort to encourage, going the right way to serve and love God and others, seems little enough... and really it would be except..?

The exception is that God is paying attention to us and when the time is right, according to Him, He draws to Him through His Son. We are drawn but too many, I believe, who are drawn then pull back unwilling to move closer to Him. Why? The love for the world and things of the world is not gone.

It would sound to most people very easy thing to however it is the exact opposite it is extremely difficult to the let God work with you for some people. To allow God to work on your heart and to lead you in the spirit takes faith, trust, and confidence that God is there with you helping you through the ups and downs of life in which all experience.
The extremely difficult thing is letting go loose of the world! The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life have hold of every man in a measure. Alone he cannot overcome them... but he must take the first step. Even an unbeliever can do that. God will help us if we take the first step.

Having taken the first step toward God how many more steps can he or will a man in that direction? Do we grow or do we stagnate or backslide into the filth from which we came? God has provided all that is needed for anyone to make with Him... but is always voluntary. God is always there to help us, if we really want and need the help.

Thank you for a moment of your time (I don’t use my computer anymore hardly right now had the internet cut off but will use phone from time to time).
I would be in trouble without my computer. We have one cell phone which mostly my wife uses for text messages with family and friends. I use it only as a telephone when I am out on an errand... mainly to stay in touch with her as for health reasons she rarely goes out anymore.

My computer is used for forums and for my hobbies and my writings. I have typed with ten fingers since I start work for the government in 1974 using a manual typewriter. To type a message without a full keyboard stifles me to say the least.

Thank you again, Ama
Have a care always my friend. Give God the glory!

Too often it is, as it seems to me, more than "almost"!
