I read the Bible using only logic. I discard my feelings as they are Satans' method of controlling us. Yes and no are my only answers, I use logic only; to arive at the simple answer; as science has proven that the simple answer is always the right answer. I need from all of you the chapter and verse numbers that relate to the son of man, son of God verses I will accept but I am looking for specifically the son of man. Start with the books of Moses and go through the whole bible. I'm sure you all know more quotes from the Bible than I do. I study all things so I will not be as specialized in my thinking as you are.. And I take this time to thank all of you for being open minded and courteous. Okay, great you guys obviously have zeal... But what I don't understand is this: I asked you to walk a mile.. And you say that you follow Jesus; so why don't you walk that mile...? All I am asking for is some verses; Please, as it is customary in these forums, try to answer me to the best of your ability. If you feel that I am so evil, then you should feel compelled to show me the error of my ways. Any fool can take away from something, are you able to take the splinter out of my eye? Then put together every verse that applies to the son of man; and explain to me how Jesus is both the one who starts the war to end all wars with the sword that protrudes from his mouth, and the messiah that does not bruise a reed. Compare the son of man and the son of God, and once you have ALL of the verses that apply to the son of man; draw a profile of the individual who is also known as the spirit of truth. All that I want is to be able to understand. I will not stoop to name calling as Jesus said not to harm even my enemies. I simply wish the best to them, and pray that they too learn to take the words and deeds of Jesus and emulate his behavior. I am sorry if You think that I am your enemy; how is it that you do not follow the words of Jesus? If you forgot to it is understandable and Jesus will forgive you. Even I sometimes almost slip, the trick is to understand that logic always wins. Emotions tend to blur the truth. I wish you all the best. That is what Jesus told me to do, so I do it. If someone is off of the path I try to reason with them until they can understand where they fell off, so that they can get back on and going in the right direction. Jesus refered to himself as the son of man so he would not be killed before the proper time. He told his deciples to refrain from calling him the son of God. Where was it that he asked "who do you say that I am?"? To further clarify the distinction; he left this clue "To he who overcomes I shall give the morning star." It is hidden in order that "many shall go forth and gather knowledge." Son of man simply means a mind guided by reason. Son of God is God among us "EMANUEL". I can see it but it is not for you to understand fully or you would know how to bring heaven to the Earth. Or do you believe that God will do that for us? I ask people who believe this "Why are you here then, to watch? God needs servants not an audience. Suffice it to say that I know what God wants of me; He told me himself in no uncertain terms. If you ever heard the voice of God you would not listen to the teachings of men as when he speaks to you you are given knowledge in the energy that passes through you. His knowledge; the knowledge of right and wrong. It has been in me since. The answer is right in front of you, "They shall have eyes but not be seeing." They shall have all the knowledge but not be applying it to the world or the things they do. I have only aranged the facts in the proper order. They have been around since the beginning. Jesus knew them and he knew that people could not bear them when he was on the Earth; therefore he said "When the spirit of truth comes HE(refering to someone else)shall guide you in the truth." No I don't see because what you say continue to contain no Scripture. You mentioned parts of some well known verses that anyone could know but you continue to come up with these things that "Jesus" told you.It's just like the emotions comment. It's documented in Scripture that Jesus wept meaning he felt emotion. Jesus was certainly never being controlled by Satan. Making a comment like the above about this is saying to me that you're unaware of some things.
