2 but is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. - Galatians 4:1-2.
Just as your natural birth into this world, so is your birth into who you are now - spiritual being. Everything the believer is now (we could look at all the things a believer is now and see what has happened to them by the cross), came the same way your natural birth made you whatever nationality you were born into. Whatever family you were born into, and whatever country you were born into. Point being; it all happened by a birth. You did not choose that, it happened by a birth. You didn't decide you wanted to be whatever nationality you are, or where you were born. Just like the wind scripture says. No choice it just happened exactly the way it is designed to happen.
The same thing has happened to you in spirit, it has all come about by a birth. This is a good place to divide soul and spirit. You are born again in spirit, not soul. Your soul is being renewed to the things of God, such as; learning the family you have been born into. So we have been put under tutors and governor's to learn (the father's schoolhouse of circumstances and situations), and for the teaching, into the things of our father. That is what the adoption process is referring to in scripture. We have been birthed into a family and have no idea about this family, or how to handle family business so to speak, or the family spirit of living!
All though it happened by a birth.. scripture referrs to the learning process into that family as a; adoption process. A literal birth has taken place, but the learning process - or renewal of the mind takes time - there is a teaching, learning the things of the father and he uses tutors and governor's - to be an instructor to teach the things of the family, yeah the deep things - which is Christ in you. It is a growth into the things of the father that birthed you, by Christ the seed of God. You are who you are, by a birth. Nothing to do to be who you are. Doing comes from being (acting on) who you are. Paul describes it as; living Christ, or Christ living in the believer. Christ living, and expressing himself in and through the believer. 'The revelation of Jesus Christ' is imperative to the Gospel! Galatians 1:11-12.
