For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life: - Proverbs 6:23.

When we understand God has an order in scripture such as; how to study-read-understand scripture. Weight of scripture would be followed as needed. What in scripture carries the most weight? Weight is; what it is that is the most important thing in all the word of God that is stressed by the author as something that needs to be known, and has been made known by God, for humanity to pick up the scripture and see written more than anything else in all of what was given by God in a love letter to his creation. It is everything to God - and humanity! nothing else stands.

* The [ in Christ messsge ] is written more in scripture than any other thing God would have humanity to know. The thing with the weight of scripture is; it is God saying to a people that - this is it look no further. You do not need to look for anything else - this is what I want you to know, because it is the deepest thing in scripture written. Strange how men cannot see that on their own. They can pick one verse and start a brand new religion and have followers. They can twist it to fit their religion and say God told them this is it - this is what should be done. Complete contradiction of study, understanding, and knowing scripture by the weight of scripture.

The thing about the "in Christ" message written over two hundred times is; the depth. I took it for years to mean; ok your in Christ and now your saved (the truth but) and now you need to find your way through scripture - and see what God really has to say to me. So we take off (most of us do that) in child like faith. Searching for Lord knows what now I look back. I had no direction, I received no direction..at least not from those that I sat under at the time. So the giant mess is made and we sit and wonder what in the world happened. All I wanted was to find the Lord, search the scriptures and get a hold of God. It is like that child is still lost.

Those the ones I have talked to through the years now. The lost and wayward - still searching hungry for God - wanting to know they're father. You will not find what believers are searching for by chasing through scripture blindly.. it's not there. Then where is it? It is found in him, in Christ, through whom, by whom, through him, and of him (the most written weight of scripture). It will not come any other way - but by what is written and the weight of what is written. Pointing to the only answer given whereby man is settled in soul and spirit.

Established; in him-by him-and through him-in Christ!

• Two hundred times it is written to give the believer a foundation to stand in this world as complete - the finished product of God..before the foundation of the world! glory.

The purpose of the word is to give us hope. There are people out there whom seldom read scripture. My own mother could be an testimony to that notion. Thought she is a believer. It seems the only time I get to talk about scripture is when it is brought up by me, it’s like a dry well out here in this world and a lot of things seem off but God is with us as we live, by the Holy Spirit, and Christ with us by the spirit of Christ, soulman.

It takes a hunger to stay in the word. I get lazy when I have to use to oldstyle of searching a book. It seems slow compared to the tech we have today that makes it much easier. Same book but just pull everything up at your finger tips online. Love it

Ha, that is understandable. But maybe going slow and going over the scripture again because you didn't fully grasp the first time is helpful. I have a problem from time to time of not being in self-control when it comes down to the study of the Word of God. I feel my time with a bunch of noise sometimes from just social media, or roaming around the forums instead of taking time to slow down and just enjoy the peace and silence that is when their is no noise going on in general.

Having had gotten rid of the internet at my home, I still am able to use it on my phone, and I will bring my computer to work here at the shop and use it to associate online sometimes too. Thought that it would be much easier but still it can be difficult.

I believe more self-control will come when I finally get what I would consider to be a real job next year. I am going to help my mother until the end of the year and find me a new job come next year since that is when her new schedule starts.

I love people, they are interesting today I met someone up at the mcdonalds near by and I just decided to talk with him for only 5 minutes, waiting on my food. His name was Ralph and was 85 years old, and he told me that in the paper he was reading the Obiturary.

I saw him walking in reading the paper. Asking him he said that. I asked why do you read that for? He said well you never known when you are gonna go and sometimes I am ready just go. I asked him where are you going?

Ralph stated Hell I guess. I said no... you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ dont you and he said yes. I asked him if he could tell the world one thing what would it be he said, well I already learned a lot in life but it is to late now to say anything.

Interesting ... people are ... always will be.

Yep.. I have to sit a side a time - early in the morning for me or I don't do it. My buddy would say he couldn't do it early he liked late for quite time. Whatever fits a person.
