"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." - John 8:38

And this one really jumps out at me today for some reason -

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." - Galatians 5:1

For He who we obey is whose we are . Whether of sin unto death or of obediance unto righteousness .
JESUS did come to set us free . The only problem is most folks think it means FREE TO SIN and not FREE FROM SIN .
But not my sister . SISTER fluffy thinks no such thing . Most folks holler liberty only they have forgotten
we cannot use liberty as an occasion to serve the flesh . BUT NOT my dear sister fluffy , she thinks no such thing .
Cause fluffy knows that who we obey is whose we are and that if we belong to CHRIST
then we have the HOLY SPIRIT and if we have the HOLY SPIRIT it teaches us to deny ungodliness and wordly lusts
and to be living righteously and soberly and godly in this present world.
SO dance a jig of praise unto the glorious Lord my dear sister . Sister fluffy , you are dearly loved .

The good news is that God made a path for our salvation and redemption. He did this through his selecting the man Jesus. Acts 17:31
Selected or appointed?
;)

"Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit."

Yes, 100%. Did you not read the Scripture cited, Acts 17:31?

To be conceived of the Holy Spirit is not the Holy Spirit. The Good News is NOT that God incarnated and only appeared to die but that Gods plan for our salvation was proven when the man Jesus fully died - as all men do - and raised into a glorified body by God. This is Acts 17:31.

Otherwise, a man who is only a man has yet to be resurrected into a glorified body.

I can't figure out what it is that seems off to me.

@amigo de christo help lol.

Is it just me?

@Wrangler I'm sorry. I don't know what it is that is bothering me.

Forgive me, but may I ask your denomination? Are you a universalist by chance?

All four of the Gospels have the good news located with in it.

It to me important no matter how many times you have heard it by someone, or have read it yourself.

To go over it again and again by doing so your are renewing your mind because of doing so.

There is so many helpful scriptures and benefits of growth spiritual. Though it can seem to be a lonely road.

It seems in my life I get to share the scriptures with very few people, though sharing my online videos in case anyone may take a gander and look and be helped in some way by hearing the scriptures being talked about, no one should believe me and my views though I’ll openly share them, everyone has to think for themselves and they will act in their lives of what they will do.

The Gospel of Christ is the power of God unto Salvation. Do you need to read the Bible every day? I don’t know you have to decide that. All of it is useful, and profitable for your spiritual growth.

@Wrangler

Maybe it is me and maybe I'm not understanding, or maybe the words are glossed over enough to where I cannot understand the meaning.

But what I think (and you would be fully right to correct me) you believe is that Jesus was "just a man."

In which case, I would ask you to read Revelation 22:12-21 and pay close attention to verse #16.

The man declares war on anyone who sees the Deity of Christ . If anyone dares to say as did THOMAS to JESUS , MY LORD and MY GOD
wrangler declares war on them . JESUS is not to be called God in his hearing . But remember
when paul and barnabas and even peter had folks coming up to worship them they shut it down .
Saying we are men like you . JESUS NEVER REBUKED THOMAS for calling HIM LORD and MY GOD .
I worry for wrangler at times .

Find a scripture that explains or summarizes what that good news is.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:16,17)
