I dont know if its that high , but it is very high . All we can do is continously point to Christ and sound bible doctrine .
Never let a soul feel saved in a dangerous lie .
The thing is most who profess Christ are following another jesus and another gospel and its getting worse all the time .
But let us who are of the faith do all to stir up the peoples by way of pure biblical reminders of golden truth .
Keep pointing all to Christ and continously remind with biblical reminders . March onwards in the LORD ,
the battle for the souls of men rages onwards . And we must always point folks to the truth .

Since you can't look into anyone's heart, you cannot get any "Amens" to that. Only God knows. So be careful to make certain judgments.
Ye can know them by their fruits . All i know is most all who profess to know Christ , not ALL , but most all ,
are not even following the biblical Christ and many are even embracing sin . Justifying evil .
Where is the HOLY SPIRIT if one has no conviction of sin within them .
I would simply say most and just leave it at that . But we must always point to Christ and remind all
about His teachings and doctrine . If we see brethren err , we must correct it fast . And always follow
the pattern JESUS set for the church and later the apostles would teach it as well .
JESUS KNEW and KNOWS how to keep a church healthy and safe . Let us follow That pattern .

Can I get an Amen?!

(Is anyone else tired of reading posts like this?)

(Satire)

last time I looked God was the only God, and ONLY He knows.
Beware …you may well find that many that you ‘throw out’ go in before you …if indeed you make it in, …being such a judger of God children.

ONLY He knows , and we will know who is who …AT THE END.

There will be more people saved than you would imagine.....people who have never heard of Jesus.....and many will ask 'And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends' Zechariah 13:6

....and why be presumptuous about those who take on the name of Jesus. Surely that is out of any man's reach to determine!
What we do know is that there will be surprises no one counted on.

First off there is no salvation in the Old Testament so why point to a scripture in the Old Testament about being saved.

And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved. Act 4:12 And that name is Yeshua....no historical information as to where the word Jesus came from.

On the other hand....this plan to save humanity from the devil....from hell....to open the gates of heaven to Mankind....occurs only in the New Testament....the New Covenant. This plan is the brain child of Yahweh and Yeshua. Odds are really good that it is a good plan....and a highly successful plan. A plan that would require the Son of God to be nailed to a cross was probably well thought out.

Even Calvinists might make it to heaven! LOL But as a whole I believe most Christians will make it to heaven.
Your average Christian....is not going to be into the extreme sins that would get them into trouble and cannot be forgiven.

Probably the largest Christian threat that would prevent people from getting to heaven is the OSAS beliefs. Sin all you want and go to heaven....that is not going to workout well for them. The other problem would be lifestyle sins. A life of sin....vows exchanged between same sex marriages.....vows to sin for a lifetime. etc.

This is primitive and uninformed Grailhunter.....and I'm not saying this to insult you....I'm saying it because you speak in ignorance of God's revelation of himself.

LOL You think God is stupid!? Who do you think came up with this plan of salvation?
And have at it! You cannot insult me or hurt my feelings. Too thick skinned.

Yes, the fruits do tell the story about anyone. The problem, of course, is a lot of people are poor when it comes to separating the good fruit from the evil fruit. We require God's help even in the sorting. I guess that falls under having the discernment which comes from God.

"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" Isaiah 5:20

I wouldn't say that figure is accurate Friend, but those who are actually saved are a distinct minority Mat 7:13,14

A distinct minority in comparison to the world. Not a minority when it comes to professing Christians imo. Christ said "many" will try to enter and not be able to. He didn't say "most" will not be able to enter.

@amigo de christo @amadeus
Good morning! Happy Holidays. God bless.
Regarding the question---> 99.9999 percent of Christians are not saved?????
No way to estimate....but how do you feel on the matter?

amadeus---> The problem, of course, is a lot of people are poor when it comes to separating the good fruit from the evil fruit.

amigo--->All I know is most all who profess to know Christ , not ALL , but most all, are not even following the biblical Christ and many are even embracing sin .

Now I am not disagreeing but, for those that read this forum.....internationally. Do you care to elaborate?

We know there are a lot and many sinful and evil people in the world....

But if we are going to use words like "a lot or most" in regard to Christians what are you talking about? How many Christians do you know? If I am playing the odds I am going to say you guys do not go to church much. And a church does not necessarily mean a building with a sign out front. Gathering with Christians to discuss the scriptures and sing praises to the Lord.....and eat fried chicken, and fix'ins.

So what I am going to ask....of the Christians you know....not what you see on TV or the media....the ones you know....what would you think are the sins that an "average Christian" would commit?

Cheat on their taxes?
Drive over the speed limit?
Lust over another man's wife?
Look at naked women on their smart phone or computer?
Are they fishermen....master_baiters? LOL
Lie about the 100 pound catfish they caught?
Carousing at night?
Cuss on a occasion?
Sell a car to someone and not tell them what is wrong with it?
Gossip?
Lie about their age?

I know "a lot and many Christians"....I go to several churches....hang with Christians and I do not see them as dirty filthy rags and full of sin. So am I missing something? Am I going to the right churches and hanging with the right people?

We are all going to sin and as Christians in good standing with Christ, we are privileged to ask forgiveness for our sins and the faith to know that Christ will forgive us and forget our offenses. So when the average Christian shows up on Judgment Day, I am thinking there is not going to be a lot or many sins to account for.

The Bible says every bad deed will be accounted for.....every idol word. But does that mean we cannot get our sins truly forgiven? And forgotten? Is Christ going to hold forgiven sins against us? I know Christians that believe that after baptism, you cannot get forgiveness for your sins. Not my belief.

So it is a good discussion....what do you guys think about it? So what do you think are the sins of the average Christian?

Yes I did say satire. I am not being serious with this thread. I'm amazed so many people haven't picked up on that.
It was clear to me! And yes, these kinds of statements are made far too often in my opinion!

Much love!

AMEN Brother , we’ll said.

One does have to wonder just how these people seem to “know” who will be the saved and who won’t !
Amazing how they think they have deep insight about that, yet are totally blind on other things of the spirit.

Last time I looked my Bible says “The Day will reveal it”.
As the Day of Judgement has not yet come…how are ‘these people ‘ so wise! Haha!

blessings …Helen
