I think people that practice the occult flock to forums like these. And they often get away with it by claiming to be Christian. Herbal medicine is used by Wiccans, and I see it promoted online. (https://www.amazon.com/Wicca-Herbal-Magic-Beginners-Witchcraft/dp/1913922030) And if there's no scientific evidence that some herbal medicine helps then it is a type of magical cure. And conspiracy theories lead to alienating ones self from society in general, which is another occult idea. Is there scientific evidence for a particular conspiracy idea? I've seen people trying to lead people into cults that isolate from society stating that they are evading the end times.Claims that another Christian forum is a cult by a member announcing their withdrawal has me asking if such forums are cults.
Best post a dictionary definition as a point of reference.

I don't think all cults are bad, and being able to cultivate conversations on forums like this is preferrable to the cultures of some tradition-bound congregations with heavy Nicolaitan agendas geared to expoitation, domination, and control.
Definitely here be there tygres.‘I like this idea Mark but I don’t think I can hang out with conspiracy theory folks in real life.
Than, they’d ask things like :
Is this really soup? No! This is poison by the big-pharma trying to kill us all and create a one-world government kitchen!
Maybe "cult" is not the right word. But there is no question that some "Christian" forums are enemies of the truth -- they hate the truth being posted so that the lies are exposed. But Christians -- by definition -- should be lovers of the truth. I have departed from a few because of this.Claims that another Christian forum is a cult by a member announcing their withdrawal has me asking if such forums are cults.
The above comment is an attack on the truth. And conspiracy theories lead to alienating ones self from society in general, which is another occult idea.
The above comment is an attack on the truth.
(1) Was there a conspiracy to remove Donald Trump from the presidency by any and all means? Absolutely. Even the Leftist TIME magazine admitted it.
(2) Was there a conspiracy to create a bogus pandemic and profit from it while establishing tyranny? Absolutely. The facts speak for themselves.
(3) Was there a conspiracy to have Jesus of Nazareth killed? Absolutely. The Bible makes that crystal clear.
The days of attacking "conspiracy theories" are over. And it is the occultists and Satanists who are conspiring to destroy humanity and freedom right now. That is the truth. So it is high time people stopped talking about "conspiracy theories" as though they are wild fantasies, and faced up to the fact that the Satanists are presently conspiring against everyone, particularly Christians and truth
Many take things way too far . I seen some teaching that obama was really a lizardSome things promote conspiracy theories. Like the radiation experiments the government performed on unsuspecting New York citizens back in the day. The MK-Ultra program and other programs conducted by the government back in the day. The dems wanted Trump out, so it's not hard to draw some conclusions there about hiding works from the public to remove him from office. And there is Bill Gates talking to the CIA about how the vaccine could minimize extremest mentalities in populations: False claim: Video shows Bill Gates presenting vaccine for religious fundamentalists to Pentagon
The problem I see is that many people take these ideas too far, which is in fact human nature for some people.
Then let us continue to take in more things of the Lord that something is always there to be quickened when and if the need arises! There is coming a time when many of us will be brought before kings and magistrates in order to give answers regarding our faith, and on what grounds we lay claim to that support our apparent rebelliousness against the world's common mindset.
In that context, and at that time, the holy Spirit will bring to our minds scripture, truth, and inspiration to shame our adversaries. But first we need to have those matters settled in our hearts. The holy Spirit can't remind us of things that were never there.
And this is what the conspirators do not want anyone to discover. Therefore they use their media lapdogs to attack people who expose the conspiracies by calling them "conspiracy theories" (which means it is all imaginary, fanciful, delusional). Then talk about "tinfoil hats". When HCQ, zinc, azithromycin, and ivermectin were attacked, suppressed, mocked, and sabotaged, even though they were very cheap and very effective remedies, everyone should have woken up to the fact that there was a conspiracy to kill as many as possible and thereby generate fear and panic. When COVID deaths were hyper-inflated by a factor of at least 16 (meaning only 6% were genuine) that should have been another red flag. But there really is and are conspiracies
I would like more discussion about the scientific evidence for cults, @devin553344. What exactly would that entail? And conspiracy theories lead to alienating ones self from society in general, which is another occult idea. I don't want to directly point the finger at people so I won't provide any evidence for cults. I think that's the moderators job. If they see someone as promoting the occult they are supposed to be dealt with.I would like more discussion about the scientific evidence for cults, @devin553344. What exactly would that entail?
My own experience among Christians is that they are sometimes manipulated into cultish behaviour, and I am wary of certain styles of leadership that insist on unquestioning loyalty to them and their cause.
Also, I am aware of "endtimes alarmists", some who flock together, and others who prefer to be lone rangers, but don't consider it necessary to dwell on the subject to the exclusion of all else, and certainly can't be bothered with dubious predictions and dodgy calculations.
Ok. Just a thought, but you do know that although the occult is sometimes at the core of a cult, it is not always what defines a cult.I don't want to directly point the finger at people so I won't provide any evidence for cults. I think that's the moderators job. If they see someone as promoting the occult they are supposed to be dealt with.
The news is very slick my friend . Notice what people they often use . They use the most wacked out onesAnd this is what the conspirators do not want anyone to discover. Thanks. It is the truth, and it fits in perfectly with what I was discussing.Sister in the wonderful beautiful bible it says iron sharpens iron . ITS LOVELY YOU BROUGHT IT UP .
Never let folks sway you from the lovely truth in the bible .
Every word in that bible is as honey to my soul . from every warning to every promise . GOD , His words are truly GOOD FOR MY SOUL .Thanks. It is the truth, and it fits in perfectly with what I was discussing.
BTW, I've never seen anyone say that about a Bible verse. It had nothing to do with war, or bloodshed, annihilation of an enemy--I could kind of understand that . But this is a proverb.

i had sooner watch concrete cure than sponge bob , harry potter or any of that other stuff .The word Earworm reminds me of a SpongeBob episode, where he gets hooked really bad on the song "The Musical Doodle."
Maybe you can sing me a country song in German now, before earworm makes me go off the deep end and start climbing walls?
