Perhaps not Byrd, but some versions do, so when they do, those who love God will prove it to themselves what is really being taught. Jesus said seek and ye shall find, God's truth is out there, but like Jesus' illustration of the pearl of high value, we are expected to work hard to find the answers, and we are assured that if we do, will will find them.
44The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and in his joy he went and sold all he had and bought that field.
45Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls.
46When he found one very precious pearl, he went away and sold all he had and bought it.

so, im seeing “finding” and no “work,” but funny how the first guy “hid it again,” and the second guy “went away,” huh? anyway imo this is another parable that changes as we change, and the buying and selling part is surely…saying more than we are hearing

My friend, what are you saying. Are you suggesting that the "Cost" of becoming a Christian is the cost of all the things that we have had to sell in order to obtain what is considered to be of greater value? If this is so, are our eyes looking at the wrong end of the parable to draw this conclusion?

WELL, I HAVENT oops spent any time with this; it is kinda being revealed to me as we speak; so maybe? What have we had to sell or buy, iyo? Yet we do treat the kingdom as a possession, no? when it is not one, i mean..."this is treated as a get-out-of-jail-free card, a possession"
