Yes, that is true.....but our faith cannot be blind either. Jesus backed up his teachings with scripture and so did the apostles.
Unless we have the kind of faith that has solid backing from God's word, we are at the mercy of those who create doubts. (James 1:5-8) We have to have open minds....but not so open that our brains fall out....

@Nancy

That is a verse the comes to me whenever I am losing focus …

Also a verse God uses to speak to me when I lose focus is “ What doest thou here Elijah…” ha! ( when Elijah had run from Jezebel and hid in the cave)

and “ Adam where art thou” ?

I learned a long time ago…that - “ when we can’t feel His felt presence , ask yourself , who moved! “
He never moves! Glory to His name.

Thanks for the lovely post …

Hugs ….H x

@Helen Idk why, but reading your post reminded me of a time when I was newly saved. I was 13 years old. I grew up in a household where I was the only one serving Christ. And this particular day had been especially difficult, and lots of spiritual warfare. I remember falling across the bed on my face, with my Bible in my hands, just weeping. I lifted up my head and opened my Bible and the first thing my eyes fell upon was these verses....

Jeremiah 32:26-27
[26]Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,
[27]Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

That has been something that I've gone back to and been reminded of periodically throughout the years. God is such a good Father to us!

@Nancy, this kinda fits with our recent conversation. :)

AMEN!

Praise God …that we have a God that SPEAKS to us! And more so , He has anointed us with ears to HEAR ( and eyes to see) …Sadly not everyone can.
In these dark days we hone in to hear clearly His leadership , …..it could be life or death to us in the days to come!

blessings …H

Yes T. it sure does. It's our "waiting on Him" part that can make our faith falter. Short memories...!
