This is not to expect anybody to ever be perfect nor the wittiest person all the time so let me get that much straight right now.The heart of the matter is real simple. We don't need no bible certified student and graduate with this matter nor do we need a big shot celebrity and tycoon. I don't care if you been a proclaimed Christian 5 months or 50 years here's the deal:Who can react positive to these bible verses and regard them as Christian teaching for making it to heaven today and forever ? Who can react correctly to these bible verses for Christian living today and forever?
1 Timothy 2:9-15
Romans 7:1-2
2 Timothy 3:16
2 Peter 1:20-21
2 Corinthians 6:14-17
Amos 3:3[/CENTER

Romans 6:1
I know you been probably raised with a lot of education on what Christianity is suppose to be like but it's all about what the spirit of God is saying in the book only , not ever anything stated outside the book with philosophy gossip talk for entertainment and mockery games of childish phonies. It's my hope that you have a bible beside you when you come here all the time. Please don't type out all the bible verses of the bible here. This saves everybody time from scrolling the screen when they should be reading comments only. Everybody have they bible here it's no need to rewrite the whole bible here. Thank you such much for understanding a simple way to make this post more enjoyable with less scrolling on the screen to get to the actual comments. Ultimately these type of scriptures tell if we really have wholehearted unity in Christianity 100%. It's time to end the days for settling for unity with 60% or 80% bible believers. Real sheep are 100% bible believers with zero (0) tolerance for philosophy that conflicts this book anywhere. You know what you are the book will tell this. You a sheep then we can go on and do unity correctly with the right people God has. You a goat nice knowing and goodbye.

Although I agree with the spirt of what you are saying caution must be takento not take bible verses out of context or take them to literatly. The words and verses of the bible teach us on many levels this is what makes it a living word that needs to be contemplated and prayed upon and not just read over lightly. In your example of Timothy it speaks of women dressing modestly and not wearing jewlery, there is no sin in any type of clothing or jewelry. It is the BEHAVIOR implied that can lead to the sin.In jesus's day alot of jewelry might have implied a women of questionable moral behavior it does not mean the same thing today.Just as in Jesus's day men commonly wore skirts, today if men wore skirts it would have a different moral implication.

Guess it's fair to say the masculine and feminine attire was quite different in periods of time like the earthly time of Jesus coming. The obvious accepted knowledge whenever of what's masculine and feminine will clear up the modest issue with clothing as it pertains to top and bottom wear. As clear as black and white Paul was instructed by Jesus to define modesty 3 other ways. Those 3 other ways are correct hair grooming and attire that's not expensive. Lastly we're told not to wear jewelry at all. Paul was primarily addressing women but obviously he puts the general rule book down here with anybody if we want to be modest and go to heaven like he says. Nothing in the book here gives somebody the possible notion that this teaching was for a certain time only. You can get believe a lie if you want cause that's all it is. Obviously I'm offending married people and jewelry wearers that like jewelry more than going to heaven. Your right to say that the inside of a person's heart is important but so is anything in this book. If your a sheep understanding 2 Timothy 3:16 then we'll fit in with each other cause it's meant to be. All means all in this book. All never means some right? We okay on that that's half the battle. We okay on anything in the book having a correct and incorrect teaching that's the other half of the battle to do Christian unity correctly and entirely.(kriss)

I think you are certainly on the right path thus far my friend in most everything you have said. I'd love to see everyone see the truth for what it is and for everything to work out (what true Chrisitan wouldn't?). However, I think we have to work towards the truth but understand that there are false doctrines in the world and that there are just some people that you cannot do anything with. However, I begin to digress at this point.I will say one thing - the scripture (once again) does a wonderful job for us in telling us what things will be like. The reality of Christianity sometimes is a tough pill to swallow.Luke 12:51-57Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is.And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass.Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right? This wisdom of the Bible once again resounds true. Jesus himself said it right there that there will be division amongst family even.Getting to the subjects at hand - one must always hang on to the context. To sin is something that involves going away from God; sometimes it's in the form of certain "tangible" things such as not murdering someone or worshiping false idols - other times, sin can be in the intent as Christ illustrated in many of his teachings. The overall point of sin is that it is going away from God. That's why context is so very important. Ultimately, it's the faith that will lead you down the right path and not so much the works. For example, in I Tim. 2:9-15, you have to take it in stride to mean that you don't do good through flashy material things such as showing up to church in your Sunday best with golden jewels and so forth (to put things in a modern perspective). All the show means nothing, just as the Pharisee beat his chest and said, "thank you God I'm not that sinner [the publican] over there".Luke 18:13-14And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. In other words - practice humility. The letter that God gave us in the form of the Bible truly is amazing. I agree that ultimately you can have a few "doctrinal" differences and still get to the same endpoint, but you have to be careful. I applaud your idea of unity and that's important for us to do but at the same time Christ also told us that there will be disunity. It's our job to plant the seed, God will do the rest.

TO THE SHEEP OF THE LORD...............2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.1 Corinthians 214But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. 15But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no one. 16For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, THAT HE WILL INSTRUCT HIM? But we have the mind of Christ.A Spirit filled Man..............Acts 13:51-53 51 But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium. 52 And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost. This does not mean there will be; no confusion over scripture............We are told to study............ it takes time.................spirit filled is not the instantaneous understanding of all things scripturally. Remember this the next time you stumble over a passage you do not quite understand. Not understanding a passage of scripture does not diminish your spiritual connection with the Lord. Praise Jesus the Holy Spirit will direct you to find just what it is you need to find......... That’s a Gift...........and......................Learning takes time. It is exactly what we are doing in here...........we are in the right place as we grow and learn in the Lord.If there be any sheep that have conflict over scripture..................please do not immediately consider your self a goat.............have hope in Lord.........learning takes time.Remember some of the most spirit filled theologians are still discovering things of the word............... and if you doubt me look at Swamp Monster as he strives on his level in the Lord........ He has openly posted when he is not to certain................it happens as we grow in the Lord.God Bless us as we grow and learn in the Lord.Philippians 4:7 and the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

A sheep know they a sheep nothing complicated about that. Whatever the book saying correctly real sheep will come eventually into the full mutual understanding of this book right so there can be a unity effort in Christ as God has intended. If somebody fighting forever against the current teaching of Paul on attire that's not a sheep and obviously it's time to move to the next person. I keep it real cause I'm a reality person and real sheep. You accepting whatever Paul say is holiness you obviously a real sheep to do this unity effort in Christ correctly. Otherwise we unequallly yoked people wasting time. That's just keeping it real cause I know I'm a real sheep and 2 Corinthians 6:14-17 is more then words on a page for me. As I mention before please keep your bible by your computer and save everybody the time and trouble of scrolling down on the screen more with bible verses only. All I want to read is comments and if you obviously a believer to be equally yoked with. Since doctrine is for correction, etc. that rules out philosophy people. We only have legal revelation people with the book if they bringing out the book correctly. Go to another site if you a philosophy speaker and person off the subject with scripture that don't tie into this Paul discussion on attire and church leadership. That's only keeping it real . You not for real nice knowing you. Call it what it is tough love that's fair.

I cannot agree with that statement; at least here on Earth. Sure, when we finish this life and leave this body and go back to Our Father, we'll know all of the answers, but I posted the words of Christ above:Luke 12:51Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:There's going to be so called "doctrinal" differences. Christ told us that. Nowhere did I see the statement that everything will be in agreement; he stated to the contrary many times of which one example is above. However, because someone believes differently than you on a certain topic doesn't make them someone not to associate with. I happen to disagree strongly at this point with someone people on this board and they likewise, but we agree on many other topics and get along just fine. When you play this I'm going to go in my corner over here because I know God's love and his Word the right way, then let me ask you what do you do about a nonChristian? Do you not associate and witness to them to because they don't agree with you? Did Jesus walk away everytime there was someone who believed to the contrary? And my friend, posting Bible verses is letting the Word speak for itself. If you're going to play that game, each verse can easily be verified in any King James version of the Bible. I post the verses because they are the Word of God and I will not change them. I let the Word do what it was written to do and only try to help along the way.

THE BOTTOM LINE...................THROUGH IT ALL................YOU SHEEP WHOM BELONG TO THE LORD......................2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.ONE DAY AT A TIME IN THE LORD...................KNOW THERE ARE BABES IN CHRIST AND SOME OLD LIONS............GOD BLESS

Hello again. The floor still open if you a real sheep to take on Paul's teaching correctly on attire and church leadership, etc. Don't fit in with 60 % or 80% bible believers. That's cause I'm a real sheep to do the unity effort in Christ correctly. Please don't repeat history with people trying to type the whole bible here. We 100% bible believers let's get real and be equally yoked as God intended. Obviously philosophy is for goats. Never bored for a gossip show here. Only here if you a real sheep or a 100% bible believer. All I know is a correct way with the book on any verse. You hip to that then we can do things like Paul said in 2 Timothy 3:16. Don't freak out now and type out the whole bible for everybody now. Thanks for understanding cause we all got bibles to read and less scrolling of the screen to do then.

So, from what you're saying we shouldn't let the Bible do the talking here? I'm sorry, but that doesn't work that way. I let God's Word do the teaching and simply follow along as a guide where I can help. Verses, quite obviously, are posted here for ease of reference and can easily be verified in a handy Bible that hopefully is somewhere very near when you visit this website. I'm unclear on what part of the Bible is gossip as well? There's nothing philosophical about it, either.Anyway, I'll let you discuss this topic with those who agree with you because that seems to be what you want. We should indeed all unify ourselves under Christ, but if I do remember correctly the verses given in Luke 12:51-57 clearly speak for themselves. Afterall, Christ did say them. Unity in Christ means that you might not always agree about various doctrinal issues, so when you play this let's go sit over here with the good Christians, are you really demonstrating what you preach?

Paul in 1 or 2 Corinthians 11:2-4 somewhere had showed mercy on people that's not the wittiest all the time with the book. Unbelief and philosophy is the heart of the matter with the enemy opposing unity the way God fully intended. If you can convince me that Paul (1 Timothy 2:9-15) had another doctrine opposing and conflicting Peter's ( 1 Peter 3) doctrine on apparel then your making a point clear that fake and partial doctrine unity is okay. If you can convince me that Matthew's (Matthew 5 & Matthew 19) doctrine on divorce and remarriage is opposing and conflicting Mark's doctrine in (Mark 10-11-12 I believe) and also Paul's doctrine in ( Romans 7:2-3 ) then you can stick your chest out and say fake and partial doctrine unity is okay to make it to heaven. Luke stated in Acts 2 that their's the apostle's doctrine. To say apostle's doctrine as a phrase you have to have all the appointed apostles see eye to eye correctly with any doctrine verse issue in the bible anywhere. What determines correct information is the spirit of God speaking in the bible all the time. That's why Paul said in Romans 2 or 3 to let God be true and every man a liar. In order to have this correct information you have to be a sheep of God hearing his voice. While Paul spared mercy on people if they not the wittiest with the book all the time like I mention , he still put his foot down in Titus and stated for a believer to give another believer a couple of adminition if their speaking and believing against the Spirit of God which is the truth of the Word called the bible. If they didn't come to the light after a couple of admonitions it was explained to the person giving the warning to count that person a heretick which actually means a goat , tare or simply a infidel or unbeliever only. Paul then gives the believer instructions for them not to be equally yoked with that person then and he went further on to instruct the believer to let that person be accursed by himself. This information is available for a sheep in 2 Corinthians 6:14-17 and also in Galations 1:8-9 too. Amos even stated that you can't walk with 2 people in disagreement at all. That's information for a real sheep in Amos 3:3. Unity problems with people on certain bible verse issues doesn't surprise me cause people don't believe Paul when he said all scripture is for correction, reproof, doctrine, etc. Doesn't surprise me cause Peter had to say that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private intrepretation. Obviously if you've tested the water out to be equally yoked with the right people ; you'll find perhaps some 60% or 80% bible believers no matter how good you teach or explain the book all the time. You'll get your share of 20% or 40% philosophers that intentional speak out of correct teaching of the book called the bible. This isn't the unity God has in mind for a believer to make it into the kingdom of heaven. Notice Luke stated in Acts 2 that the apostles had all things in common. All things in common means you can't have partial doctrine in common. All things in common means you can't have partial doctrine that's not in common for agreement among believers. Paul had to straighten the people out in Corinth on one occasion. He had to let the people know that they can't be divided up on baptism. Paul said he had no baptism of his own in his name and neither did Apollos have a baptism of his own in his name. It's rather conveyed that water baptism is in the name of Jesus only. No split up philosophy you can have to do water baptism correctly and still make it to heaven too. No split philosophy voting like we do in the White House in America if we're going to obey all the spirit of God which is all the bible verse for verse correctly only. Any spirit denying a correct and incorrect way with any verse is not a spirit that's the spirit of God at all. Any spirit denying that it's the spirit of God or Satan speaking falsely only on any bible verse is not a person with the spirit of God. Any spirit believing that it's rather a matter of whether you go with Frank's persuasion or opinion or Joe's persuasion or opionion is not operating with the spirit of God in them at all. Paul would rather us call Frank and Joe a lier while we call God true only. No lies find in truth. Lies found in men all the time. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life if we're going to make it to heaven. Since their no lies in the bible which is truth then it's about getting God's information correctly as much as we can if we going to heaven. Since only a sheep hears his voice on his truth then obviously confused goats will stay confused goats but this won't hinder the unity God has in mind fully. Agreement with all the book unity is God's unity. Hippocrisy confusion and fake unity is the Devil's unity. Tare unity is the Devil's unity. Wheat unity is God's unity. Before I'm called a judge Matthew 13tells how a tare reacts to the bible on certain bible verses eventually. He simply gets offended at it or despises it. He simply endures with it for a while only. A wheat is completely the opposite. Can't stop the tares from coming but wheat are compeled to compel wheat like them together only so this equal yoked unity is done fully correctly as God has intended the whole time. No division with a equal yoke with 100% wheat people. 100% wheat people are 100% bible believers correctly cause their really sheep of God hearing his voice. You don't have to tell them it's not about Joe or Frank's opinion to do this equal yoked unity with the bible correctly and completely. They know every person is speaking by the Spirit of God correctly or the spirit of the Devil falsely only with any verse in this book called the bible. (SwampFox)

ageeagee, I am a Christian and a sometimes philosopher, but what are you?
Philosopher when it doesn't conflict scripture in this book anywhere.Otherwise I go by the book all the way.2 Peter 1:20-21.Anyway are we equally yoked believers or not ?2 Corinthians 6:14-17 .
