Genetically...? Of course. She was the mother of all of her descendants. Adam was also the father of all of us. (Romans 5:12) It’s how we all inherited sin.

Are you making incest legitimate, based on the information you have provided in this thread?

Nope...simply saying what is in the scriptures....unless there is a law, you cannot break it.
There was no law on incest until God gave the Law to Israel through Moses.
Abraham was married to his half sister Sarah. Cain in all probability married one of his sisters. How else were the humans to obey God's directive to "fill the earth" with their children?
Adam and Eve had perfect genes, so that even being as close genetically as identical twins, there was no need for nicest laws for them, or their children.
Over many centuries the gene pool was corrupted by mutations, so that now bad genes can stack up in close relatives and cause birth defects, so incest laws are necessary.

IF A NATION FORBIDS IT, IT IS SIN. There is no NT prohibition for marrying family. However if it is incest outside of marriage it is sin. There are medical issues why should not marry to close family, genetic inheritance of disease become much more likely if there is disease in the family.

They were afraid there were no people left to continue humanity. So they got their father drunk.
Perhaps these were the days of Grace.
In the book of Leviticus we find an answer as to why these things aren't done anymore:
Lev 18:27 (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled; )
These are concerning the laws about laying with your kin or your neighbor, beasts...
So what was happening before the law came,
ignorance...
Act 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
Paul tells us that without the law there is no sin.
So whatever the people of the land were doing, they were doing out of ignorance because they didn't have a law to tell them it was wrong.
But when the law came...
Rom 7:9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
So now it comes down to this:
Are we still under the law or are we under grace?
And if we are under grace, does that make it ok to have incestual relations?
Paul didn't believe so. In fact he told the congregation to remove a member for having his father's wife.
1Co 5:1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.
1Co 5:2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
Lev 18:8 The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness.
If we are to keep this particular law concerning sleeping with your father's wife,
what about the other laws? What about sleeping with beasts?
Is beastiality ok now too?
People that don't know the bible are more inclined to follow after whatever they fleshly desire.
People that know the bible see a red flag.
Some heed the red flag and others ignore it.
