Noah, Ham, Cush, Nimrod:

Where did Nimrod get the idea to build a tower that reached to heaven and make a name for themselves?
If the son can do nothing of himself but what he seeth the Father do, then who was Nimrod following?

Isa 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
Isa 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
Isa 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
Isa 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

Isa 14:21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.
Isa 14:22 For I will rise up against them, saith the LORD of hosts, and cut off from Babylon the name, and remnant, and son, and nephew, saith the LORD.

Are these already in heaven with Him

What congregation was in heaven that Lucifer thought to rise above?

Psa 74:2 Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.

Which thou hast purchased of old, which thou hast redeemed....

Who is the "Let us" that the Lord is speaking of, that goes down and takes out the "let us" that construct the tower of Babel?

I see this as the war in heaven with Michael and his angels, in the book of Revelation.

I truly believe history repeats itself.

So my question is who do we think this we are one world and we are one all inclusive religoin
which is building their own way , own tower to heaven , REALLY FOLLOWING .
ITS the dragon they follow Ziggy . The dragon . And he knows how to use words like love , tolerance and unity .
Just something to really ponder on . My advice is COME OUT of those fallen churches and ever mergering we are one unity relgion
and DO it fast too .

Angels don't, otherwise there'd be baby angels sucking on angel breasts. (and as far as I know that ain't part of the equation) If we push it even further as some do, one has evil angels cohabiting with human women.....as if angels have penises. What would they want them for anyway if there are no women angels with vaginas???

No, angels don't create!

Satan has the power of Death....the destroyer, the accuser, the liar, the murderer.

Hebrews 2:14-15... 'Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.

Jesus says 'get up' to the paralytic; 'come out' to Lazarus who is four days dead and on the nose and his voice with raise the dead at his call when he returns. Yes, he's the life giver ie, he gives it, doesn't sell it, or loan it or trade it or take it; he gives it in conjunction with the 'Us'. 'I have come to give you life'

If The 'Us' is the life giver then he is not the life taker. Jesus tells us plainly who the life taker is.
John 10:10 'The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Don't confuse who is responsible for what. When this is confused you have God killing and perpetrating all manner of atrocities; the very thing Satan wants people to believe about God. All the while he deflects his activity onto God mitigating the responsibility for the killing and raping and war and every injustice on this planet.

Satan did a good job in peoples heads in OT times.....they thought God was responsible for everything. They deducted this from their view that 'God is One'.....they were wrong....simple.

Job assumed it, Naomi assumed it....they all assumed it....they wrote from that perspective....it was culturally ingrained....and God didn't force their pen.....but along comes Jesus and clears the misconception. He tells us plainly who is responsible for death and who is responsible for life.

He does a good job in peoples heads today also.

Jesus clears quiet a few misconceptions. We need to understand that and not try to marry the two.

You know the foundation of that religion is built on lies and can not stand friend.
We know there is none other foundation that is laid which is Jesus Christ.

1Co 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

And in today's world that tower of Babel is starting to block out the sun.
The slime is thick. And the tar is blacker than black.
It can't hold any water brother, it's going to sink.
And when it sinks it will take everything unholy with it.
The tar will catch on fire and it will be unquechable.

Rev 18:9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
Rev 18:10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

Jesus is coming back. And for His sheep it will be a day of rejoicing. But for those who refuse him, He will come as in the days of the tower of Babel and crush it to the ground.

I see the walls are beginning to tremble.
The foundation they laid is on unsettled ground.
The lies they built up on are beginning to crumble.
Not one stone will be left, nor one pebble found.

The meek my friend will inherit the earth.
turning swords into plowshares and resuming our work.
Twas it was in the garden that God did set man,
to keep and to tend the works of his hands.

A new heaven and earth He has prepared,
A garden of beauty and light
where each brings his bounty of fruits to be shared,
And the Lord He will be our delight.

God is NOT the author of confusion. So then who confused the languages? And why?
Did God create the flood?
What about the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah?

When the Bible says, Vengence is mine saith the Lord, who should we attribute that to?

Are you saying that the devil projects his attributes onto God?
That everything that is not good, or brings wars and destruction, all these are in Satan's hands?

So who is telling Israel to go to war with their neighbors?

Who is their Father?

I see a lot of confusion taking place in the governments of the world right now. None of them can keep their story straight.
This one says this and another contradicts that. They are literally destroying themselves.

We can say God is doing this, but is He? Are they not doing it to themselves?

I believe the "us" in let "us" make man in "our image and our likeness" is a lot more crowded than we think it is.
I think we were all with God from the very beginning. And in order to understand the fullness of God, we had to experience what being godlike was like. We would have to learn from bottom up. So God created a body and put all the eggs in one basket.

If God created man in his own image and likeness, then that means that God has the ultimate ability in creating many children.
We are told that Adam was the first. What if God had many sons before Adam, just not placed on this earth?
Who are the Sons of God that shouted for Joy when the earth was created?
They can't be angels, because they are called sons of God. Not angels of God.

And Paul says, Now are we the Sons of God, but it doth not yet appear what we shall be.
I believe the Sons of God who shouted for Joy, is "Us" . As it was in the beginning so shall it be in the end.
We're going home.

In order to be going home, we must have come from home to begin with. But in order to get there, we had to take this route here.
And the only way to here was through being born into here. Thus we all came from Adam and Eve into a physical world made for physical bodies.
And the only way out of here is to be born again.
That means we have to die. And it is appointed for man once to die, and after that, we get judged according to how we tended this garden we're all partakers of.
And this garden don't look so good at the present moment. Lots of thorns and weeds and tares.
But there some good fruit mixed in. Not all is lost. And God is going to come and harvest this garden.
And then we'll be headed home.

And then this garden is going to get ploughed over. And it's going to have to get burned.
My dad worked the blueberry fields. And every couple years they had to burn the fields. It makes the ground more fertile.
And better blueberries grow the following year.
This garden has more bramble than blueberries..

Good questions. Yes, who is responsible for these disasters....disasters attributed to God by the authors?? If it wasn't for Jesus's revealing that it is Satan who is responsible for disaster not God, it would be easy to conclude as the Hebrews did.

You know if I throw some snarly stuff out there such as the devil corrupted God's law by putting bad laws in it, I get blasted.
But I believe this is true, and why we are told to rightly divide the word of truth.
I believe the law is good, but there some things in there that shouldn't be.. like stoning people to death or an eye for an eye.
Jesus said, Ye have head it said, but I say...
This shows me, someone messed with God's law.
And I don't know if it was Moses, or the generations that came after Moses adding or subtracting to it.
All I know is Moses said: After giving Moses the 10 commandments written in stone, God added NO MORE.

Deu 5:22 These words the LORD spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me.

So if God added No More, then who did?
And when the young man asked Jesus what he must do to be saved, Jesus started listing the 10 that God gave Moses.
And then summed it up into two main commandments. God and Neighbor. Which when you keep the 2, you are also keeping the 10, ultimately.

There are a lot of things written in the law that Paul refers to in his own writings. Muzzling the ox for instance. And he opens up the iunderstanding in a spiritual way, not by the letter.

I just can't see God telling Moses, Thou shalt not kill, and then proceed to tell the people to stone people to death.
Seems to me a contradiction.

I have issues with Moses. Same way I had issues with Paul.
I know that there is none perfect and we all have flaws, but to set 2 murderers as heads of the church..
These kinds of things I wrestle with.

Faith in God has nothing to do with it, faith in man on the other hand....
I think I have trust issues..

I trust God, beyond that, it's questionable.

I enjoy the journey through the bible. It gives me plenty of things to think about.
That's for sure.

What is the "congregation" spoken of that Lucifer wants to sit above, in the sides of the North with?

Could it be that the Prophets at times mistook their own familiar cultural practices or the consequence of being unprotected as God telling them or doing stuff? I think it's worth considering!

An example I'm thinking of is where the Israelites were bitten by serpents. The text says 'the Lord sent fiery serpents among them'... in response to their ongoing complaining. .
They totally dismissed the fact that God was feeding them and protecting them on a daily basis from the snakes and scorpions which inhabited the wilderness. They consistently pushed God's protecting hand away leaving them without protection....and Satan took advantage of it....the writer even attributing the bitting snakes to God's direct activity......because who else would do it? God is the boss, he orders everything that happens....or so the Hebrews thought.

It's no different than when Paul went to Ephesus and everyone worshipped the goddess Diana.

Act 19:35 And when the townclerk had appeased the people, he said, Ye men of Ephesus, what man is there that knoweth not how that the city of the Ephesians is a worshipper of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Jupiter?

So what did Paul do?

Act 20:1 And after the uproar was ceased, Paul called unto him the disciples, and embraced them, and departed for to go into Macedonia.

Mar 6:11 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

We can warn them and share the gospel with them, but if they don't want to hear it, then just walk away.
The Lord opens and closes doors at different times. Maybe one or even two may be persuaded to leave that flock.
But it's not for us to throw a noose around their necks and drag them out.
Or set their cities on fire like James and John thought to do.

There is a difference though, if you see another Christian falling off the cliff. These we should do everything we can, short of falling of ourselves.
Jde 1:23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

I see a lot of people moving towards Jesus, but there are a lot of wolves in sheeps clothing that only want to take them in for filthy lucre sake, or to have dominion over them.
These be the days when the fields are white with grain and we should be praying for more labourers to gather the wheat into the barn.

Paul went around the world trying to persuade men so that none would be left behind.
And in the book of Acts, the Lord was adding to the church daily.

There is a battle going on for the souls of men, friend.
And when one turns and comes to Jesus, we need to be there to welcome them in.
But also being mindful not to let the bad ones creep in unawares.
Ye shall know them by their fruit..

There is one difference . In pauls day they preached JESUS as the only means of salvation .
YET todays fast growing christanity preachers otherwise . IN other words its so called christendom

And then summed it up into two main commandments. God and Neighbor. Which when you keep the 2, you are also keeping the 10, ultimately.

There are a lot of things written in the law that Paul refers to in his own writings. Muzzling the ox for instance. And he opens up the iunderstanding in a spiritual way, not by the letter.

I just can't see God telling Moses, Thou shalt not kill, and then proceed to tell the people to stone people to death.
Seems to me a contradiction.

I have issues with Moses. Same way I had issues with Paul.
I know that there is none perfect and we all have flaws, but to set 2 murderers as heads of the church..
These kinds of things I wrestle with.

Faith in God has nothing to do with it, faith in man on the other hand....
I think I have trust issues..

I trust God, beyond that, it's questionable.

A lot of countries in the modern world let their prisons overflow with career criminals and are full of false religion because they think they have a better standard of morality than God.

Sadly enough, this is especially true of the "Christian" countries. In the spirit of multiculturalism, tolerance, and capitalism, we allow everyone from psychics, witches, false prophets, and prostitutes to ply their trade because we think the death penalty is a bad law. It's not a shock though, considering what the Bible has to say about how human nature reflects Satan's own attitude towards God's laws.

You can't say you trust God and simultaneously question the morality behind Moses and Paul speaking on God's behalf when they said people were to be put to death for committing evil. The things God had people put to death for are very serious matters, and they can quickly destroy a nation if they aren't nipped in the bud. It comes as easy as breathing to superimpose mans emotions and standards and values onto God.
It is quiet a different matter to love ones enemies. ....that's right those who create the mayhem....those who crucify you. In fact I'm persuaded very few can see the difference in real terms between man's imagination of what is right and God's love manifest in Jesus.

Who is the "Let us" that the Lord is speaking of, that goes down and takes out the "let us" that construct the tower of Babel?

I see this as the war in heaven with Michael and his angels, in the book of Revelation.
