Can anyone here claim they are going to heaven?

Do you have a reason for asking this question?
New King James version
1 John 5:13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

So, if you discontinue to believe you won't be going to heaven.

Heb 10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

I guess. But that sure isn't something I plan to do or can see myself doing now that the truth of Christ's deity has been revealed to me.

Yes. I was wondering why some Christians feel entitled to go to heaven.
...Heb 10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
Hebrew 10:19-39 is a call to persevere. If one was entitled to go to heaven, then why is there a concern for perseverance.

Entitlement belongs to the Master. To our Master we stand or fall. He speaks of us. We do not speak of ourselves.

Perseverance is good. How is that going for YOU?

doesn’t one have to be born of the Spirit to persevere? Since Hebrews 10:19-39 is a call to persevere, where “if it be a work of man it will come to nothing, but if it is a work of God then nothing can overthrow it”. does Hebrews 10:19-38 support ‘Jesus answered(Nicodemus), Truly Truly, I say to you unless one is born of Spirit he can not enter into the kingdom of God. that which is born of flesh is flesh, and that which is born of Spirit is spirit. Do not be amazed that I said to you “You must be born again.” The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of the wind, but you do not know where the wind comes from and where it is going. So is everyone who is born of Spirit. (Like the wind?)

Yup.
Claims are easy to make.

Now is it true? That becomes trickier. ;)

However …
But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, "Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame." For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." [Romans 10:8-13 NIV]
… either God told the truth or God lied. If God told the truth, then we can know if we have “declared” and “believed” (in which case we “will be saved”). If God lied, then we have bigger problems.

Ephesians 2:8 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God"

Grace is defined as unmerited favor. So it is by merely accepting the invitation to the wedding feast of the lamb that people are worthy. God made humans with a desire for eternity in their hearts, and he made a way to receive it through his Son. God would that all be saved, because he loves them. This is part of his will and plan to redeem the world bringing it under the feet of Jesus Christ.

Perseverance is keeping Jesus Lord of our life till the day we die. If we sin we are disobedient to our Lord and must repent (change our mind) in such a way that acknowledges Jesus is Lord.

Where did this quote come from?
... Truly Truly, I say to you unless one is born of Spirit he can not enter into the kingdom of God. that which is born of flesh is flesh, and that which is born of Spirit is spirit. This is from John 3:5-8, but does not say that a person born again cannot choose to deny the Spirit.
Further down ... John 3:15 "...that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.” This does not say "...will have eternal life".

Romans 10:8-13 is true. But to read it as once declared and believed then that is final, regardless if you choose to go into denial and/or choose to no longer believe, what then?

That is pretty clear from the Bible. As a matter of fact all the OT saints as well as all the NT saints who have passed on are presently in Heaven (Heb 12:22-24). More precisely they are in the New Jerusalem (the heavenly city which is presently in Heaven).
and the next verse says...
Hebrews 12:25 See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven?

Except for David.
That is incorrect. David is indeed in Heaven. Even Samson: And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon [Gideon], and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae [Jephthah]; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets...Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us...(Heb 11:32;12:1)

That does not nullify anything stated above.

Am I going to end up in Heaven? I have absolutely no idea. I believe in a triune God, and that He wants to save us all. But I'm an ornery sort of critter, and there is plenty about the Bible and Christian doctrine I cannot, in all conscience, agree to. So I will leave it God to decide whether He wants me as I am, or not, when the time comes. For the moment, I just get on with leading a good life, to the best of my ability.

Best wishes, 2RM.
