Notice it What it says you (Satan) were appointed (what does appointed mean?) as a Guardian Cherbium (is pluarl form) it dosent say Lucifer is or was created a Cherub. It says you(Lucifer) you were choosen/(appointed /crowned/elected ) as Cherbium in this is plural form meaning more than one, he was appointed one of the guardians/watchers Satan (named Satanel in the Book of Enoch) is considered a fallen archangel whose original name was Lucifer.[6]Lucifer is generally considered to have been a prominent archangelLucifer may also be of the Seraphim as he is mentioned sometimes in that group of Angels also as Denver said. But Cherubs appear to NOT to be Seraphim or Archangels but Lucifer is only refered to as an anointed (appointed or crowned to hold the office of a cherb) not as being one. Although Lucifer is most commonly called a archangel, Seraphim in some ways biblically fits some other aspects of Satan (Lucifer)in that, Seraphim are seemly of human type form and are often the messengers between Heaven and earth It appears there is no contradiction in being both Seraphim and Archangel, As Michael is known both.but as you can see below Cherubim are quite different creaturesthat niether fit the character nor descripton of Lucifer. Lucifer had free will to become prideful with.We are told Satan walked to and fro upon the earth leading us to know he has/or can take a human form this is consistent with both Seraphim and archangles, but Not cheribim as they seem to be a type of composite figure, With specific duties they could perform. No where are cherbuim refered to in human form or ever having free willAll this shows that Lucifer held a title of the office of a Cherub, but was NOT created as a cherub Lucifer is indeed a Archangle and/or Seraphim.SMITH BIBLE DICTIONARYSatan- The whole description of his power implies spiritual nature and spiritual influence. We conclude therefore that he was of angelic nature, a rational and spiritual creature, superhuman in power, wisdom and energy; and not only so, but an archangel, one of the "princes" of heaven. Seraphim: an order of celestial beings, whom Isaiah beheld in vision standing above Jehovah as he sat upon his throne. (Isaiah 6:2) They are described as having each of them three pairs of wings, with one of which they covered their faces (a token of humility); with the second they covered their feet (a token of respect); while with the third they flew. They seem to have borne a general resemblance to the human figure. ver. 6. Their occupation was two fold to celebrate the praises of Jehovah's holiness and power, ver. 3 and to act as the medium of communication between heaven and earth. ver. 6..........Wikiepedea:A seraph (Hebrew שׂרף, plural שׂרפים Seraphim) is one of a class of celestial beings mentioned once in the Hebrew Bible (Tanakh or Old Testament), in Isaiah. Later Jewish imagery perceived them as having human form, and in that way they passed into the ranks of Christian angels. In the Christian angelic hierarchy, seraphim represent the highest known rank of angels. There are only three angels in the canonized Greek and Hebrew Bible mentioned by name: Michael (who is described as the archangel), Gabriel, and LuciferSmith's Cherub, Cherubim: The symbolical figure so called was a composite creature-form which finds a parallel in the religious insignia of Assyria, Egypt and Persia, e.g. the sphinx, the winged bulls and lions of Nineveh, etc. A cherub guarded paradise. (Genesis 3:24) Figures of Cherubim were placed on the mercy-seat of the ark. (Exodus 25:18) A pair of colossal size overshadowed it in Solomon's temple with the canopy of their contiguously extended wings. (1 Kings 6:27) Those on the ark were to be placed with wings stretched forth, one at each end of the mercy-seat." Their wings were to be stretched upwards, and their faces "towards each other and towards the mercy-seat." It is remarkable that with such precise directions as to their position, attitude and material, nothing, save that they were winged, is said concerning their shape. On the whole it seems likely that the word "cherub" meant not only the composite creature-form, of which the man, lion, ox and eagle were the elements, but, further, some peculiar and mystical form. (Some suppose that the cherubim represented God's providence among men, the four faces expressing the characters of that providence: its wisdom and intelligence (man), its strength (ox), its kingly authority (lion), its swiftness, far-sighted (eagle). Others, combining all the other references with the description of the living creatures in Revelation, make the cherubim to represent God's redeemed people. The qualities of the four faces are those which belong to God's people. Their facing four ways, towards all quarters of the globe, represents their duty of extending the truth. The wings show swiftness of obedience; and only the redeemed can sing the song put in their mouths in (Revelation 5:8-14) --ED).
