Mornin', Devin. Are you having a coffee?
Yes I had my coffee. I went out for walks and there was a crazy homeless guy out there. Kinda worried he might attack me. But he didn't.

I think if I was homeless, I might be a bit crazy too. Good thing they're sending $33 billion more to fight those godless Russians.

Why is that? Because you had no address?
I find that having no address interferes with many things.
Yes. I had a bad surgery and lost several jobs, got put on pain meds and went totally insane. I eventually landed at my Dad's who kicked me out cause I was acting scary. I slept in the woods with the mountain lions and bob cats. Hard times.

I learned that I needed my meds not to be crazy.

Wow! Hard times for sure! I was on an anti-depressant for many years. You gotta do what you gotta do.
I heard awhile ago that depression can be overcome by wanting to overcome it, that if you were depressed, it was because you wanted to be.
I was told awhile ago that I wasn't healed because of a lack of faith and because I didn't want to be healed. I told the guy to stop lying about me. He carried on like nothing had happened. It's for reasons like this that I reject the Word Of Faith/prosperity gospel.
In looking back I can see that the guy wasn't getting the attention he had before I arrived on the scene.
Jealousy, envy, selfish ambition, pride, gossip, slander...one thing I've learned is that it is not the enemy without that will usually get us, but the enemy within. We may think we are spiritual, but when push comes to shove, that's when things get real. I'm including myself here.

Good to hear you got through it.

I wish my room had wheels on it. I sometime think of it as a time-machine, traveling through time. Or a space ship, because it travels through space.

The Lord healed my depression. But my schizophrenia he didn't. Sorry to hear that, it is really annoying when people say that you're ill because of lack of faith. Or that schizophrenia is devils. I hate that.

My brother-in-law was homeless for years. He slept in the woods in a city area with the coyotes that I see on my morning walks. He slept in a wooded area next to the church which is on my walk. But later he got smart and started buying cars that he would sleep in. They kept towing and impounding his cars so he would be back in the woods and have to buy another car. But he would get disability payments from the state.

The police often find reasons to arrest the homeless people in the city here. Any reason like trespassing on business property after hours and other things homeless people must do to survive. Which gives them a criminal record and makes it even more difficult for them to get back on their feet. The city I live is cruel to homeless people I'm afraid.

It's not just your city. Same where I'm from. It's tough to get back on your feet when your homeless. For some people i think their better in prison where there is food, shelter and company for them.

I find that people who have never been homeless have no care for them and are cruel to them, look down on them. I remember thinking and feeling that way

We are so bad as humans. Only after being homeless do I really feel for the homeless and only after being to prison do I really feel for prisoners.

That's why I often pray for my brothers and sisters homeless and incarceratd

Very true. Empathy is best gained from experience.

I'm waiting for the Lord to start something new locally and allow me to be a part of it. In the mean time, I'm blessed to hang out here...again. I liked it where I was, for the most part, but I'm glad I'm back. There are some people I kinda like here, and they seem to tolerate me alright, too...for the most part! Lol
I dont care what the pope or anyone else says about ya , You know i loves ya my friend . Now march ONWARD in the LORD .
And lift those hands up and let the LORD be praised my friend .
