I guess he thinks men should be able to have babies too...you know, equal rights and all.......I'm sure he must approve of LGBT as well by his logic.

I'm sure that he does approve of LGBT. "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." Galatians 3:28

I don't think God told Paul to tell anyone that women can't talk in a church.

The argument about women speaking in church, keeping silent, and asking their husbands at home, is nonsense. None of us live in 1st Century Corinth (or a similar culture). Women today are far, far more educated than they were then and can fulfill any role that God calls them to, including leading congregations.

A woman can't be a Pastor, unless shes "the husband of one wife".

How do you know?
Because all the doctrine of the Church was written and given by Paul, including who can do what, and how to pick them.
Paul says that a Pastor has to be the "husband of one wife".

Now, Jim B, >IF = you are a politically corrected sheep, who has no use for Paul, and you prefer the "New Normal", and you are a "woke" deceived, then you might want to argue that if a woman is married to a woman, then according to the new cultural rules, one of them is the "husband".
So, my advice?
Dont try that theology in real church, full of real born again Christians, as if you tried it in my church or my classes, we'd put you outside and lock the door..
BUT.... you might get away with that demonic nonsense on some Christian forums where "anything goes".

Women weren't allowed to talk in church back in Bible times because they were too stupid?
And men can marry men because both men and women can be Christians?

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 LITV
4) Love has patience, is kind; love is not envious; love is not vain, is not puffed up;
5) does not behave indecently, does not pursue its own things, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil;
6) does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth.
7) Love quietly covers all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Much love!

So since the author of all of Scripture is the Holy Spirit you must agree then that Paul accurately quoted the Holy Spirit and faithfully wrote what he had him to write.
I'm not saying that "the author of all of Scripture is the Holy Spirit."

I'm not saying that "the author of all of Scripture is the Holy Spirit." You and I define "scripture" differently.
Of course you don't so you can pick and choose what is Scripture and what is not.
No, I have to abide by all that God and Jesus are quoted as saying.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say. "... thinks no evil" means what in the context of this discussion?

I know I have been wrong from time to time. I doubt Paul claimed to be perfect. Remember the verse about the mirror - we see far away, then we see up close - words to that affect? Wasn't Paul admitting here he didn't know all things yet?

Read Romans 7 if you doubt that Paul claimed anything “ NEAR” perfection......he later referred to himself as “ Chief Of Sinners” ....That is the only Error in Scripture....BB is the True “ Chief Of Sinners”......It’s time for Paul to “ step aside”——- there’s a new kid in town....

There are a few times that Paul spoke for himself and he always made it clear when it was “ he” and not the Holy Spirit Speaking Through Him.....

The “ Mirror” thingy referred to the fact that God has not yet shown us everything in a clear, precise manner when it comes to future events....he’s still got some surprises for His Trusting Children...

Or are you guys just pulling this out of the air?

Seems like you're having a good time ascribe evil to the man. So I thought I'd mention it, this being a "Christian" forum and all.

Much love!

It is the logical conclusion of his comments Marks. But you also apparently don't get sarcasm.

I find that if I disagree with something Paul says, I get insulted.

That would be fitting...Paul never wrote ANYTHING that Jesus did not tell him to write.....Paul was “ God's Chosen Vessel” ......Anybody “ CHOSEN” by God Himself is going to be Error - Free when he claims to speak for the Lord....

So that's a no, he didn't tell you this. And you will defend your right to say such things of others, talking about them to someone else. At least you aren't doing this behind his back, you're doing it in front of everyone.

And you are OK with all that.

Much love!

Which is it then? Your logical conclusion? Or sarcasm? Or is the "you also apparently don't get sarcasm" your dig at me now too?

?

PS . . . let's not get into the distraction of "you're just all offended . . ."

I'm pointing to what I see that I think doesn't belong on a Christian forum.

I'm not saying that "the author of all of Scripture is the Holy Spirit."
Who else would it be other than the Holy Spirit? See 2 Peter 1. Now Paul says in 2 Timothy 3:16 that it is God, so we may rightly conclude that the triune Godhead has designation the Holy Spirit to be the Author. For example: Men and brethren, this Scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus. (Acts 1:16).

So what David wrote (or spoke with his mouth) is actually called Scripture, and it is attributed to the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit. What was this Scripture? It was Psalms 69:25 and 109:8.
