of course you do. Only problem with that belief is, as Jesus said, no one is good but God. You arent good, bob aint good, and im no good.
Yes, we are not good, but what about Christ in us?

"To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:" Col 1:27

If Christ is leading us and we are faithfully following...?

Do you see within each person's heart to know who is not being led and who is faithfully following?

If not then, how could you correctly judge anyone?

*I didn't learn about God from the bible when I first became a believer. I learned that the bible helps us to understand God's charactor more as we read the various chapters. It also explains about his love towards mankind and his desire to see them all become his children. Even those who do not know him and those who hate him because of Ha Satan's lies.

The bible to me is a letter of love from my Father, written in the blood of his only begotten son, which is narrated daily, into my innermost being, by the Holy Spirit dwelling within me.....

I don't think I am discrediting Paul simply by saying I thing he was wrong to forbid women from speaking when they are in a church. I think Paul was a great man. Does it discredit him to say I don't think he was perfect? I think not.
And I was not wanting to make it about you Bob.

My point was that it's not about women, but God is perfect and it was He who eternalized the words for the sake of all the church.

After much thought, it seems to me, that i need to put bob on ignore. I can overlook bad theology often, but for him to say what he has, goes beyond just bad theology. He is attacking the Word of God. He is saying that all of scripture is not from the Holy Spirit. Some things we shouldnt just dismiss. This is one.

Read Romans 7 if you doubt that Paul claimed anything “ NEAR” perfection......he later referred to himself as “ Chief Of Sinners” ....That is the only Error in Scripture....BB is the True “ Chief Of Sinners”......It’s time for Paul to “ step aside”——- there’s a new kid in town....

There are a few times that Paul spoke for himself and he always made it clear when it was “ he” and not the Holy Spirit Speaking Through Him.....

The “ Mirror” thingy referred to the fact that God has not yet shown us everything in a clear, precise manner when it comes to future events....he’s still got some surprises for His Trusting Children...
I think it was wrong for Paul to forbid women from speaking in churches. For that matter, I think it was wrong for Paul to claim men have authority over women. As Quietthinker pointed out, men don't even have authority over themselves.

That would be fitting...Paul never wrote ANYTHING that Jesus did not tell him to write.....Paul was “ God's Chosen Vessel” ......Anybody “ CHOSEN” by God Himself is going to be Error - Free when he claims to speak for the Lord....
Yet Jesus warns us about insulting people. Is that your way - insulting people you disagree with?

Who else would it be other than the Holy Spirit? See 2 Peter 1. Now Paul says in 2 Timothy 3:16 that it is God, so we may rightly conclude that the triune Godhead has designation the Holy Spirit to be the Author. For example: Men and brethren, this Scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus. (Acts 1:16).

So what David wrote (or spoke with his mouth) is actually called Scripture, and it is attributed to the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit. What was this Scripture? It was Psalms 69:25 and 109:8.
When Paul wrote a letter, Paul was the author. Paul was greatly respected, so they hung onto his letters and shared them with other churches. After several centuries, the men who ran the church decided on which writings would be considered canon. Some people have decided every word of these writings were inspired by God. Others disagree.

God allowed it to happen. That doesn't mean that Paul was right 100% of the time.

Peter had already established that all of Paul's epistles were Scripture. See 2 Peter 3. So there is no need to take a humanistic approach when God --through Peter -- declared all Paul's writings to be Scripture.

So that's a no, he didn't tell you this. And you will defend your right to say such things of others, talking about them to someone else. At least you aren't doing this behind his back, you're doing it in front of everyone.

And you are OK with all that.

Much love!
I'm not going to have you twist me into the bad guy here Marks. Sarcasm is a device I was clearly using. I never said he said those things so get your facts straight. If you want to defend a heretic, go ahead.

Which is it then? Your logical conclusion? Or sarcasm? Or is the "you also apparently don't get sarcasm" your dig at me now too?

?

PS . . . let's not get into the distraction of "you're just all offended . . ."

I'm pointing to what I see that I think doesn't belong on a Christian forum.
Well you and I disagree as to what does or does not belong on a Christian Forum. Here is what truly does not belong, the heresy Bob has been posting. That's what doesn't belong.

I am sure Paul would agree.

But we speak before the throne of God.

Better to thank God for being right about His Bride, than claiming Paul was wrong about women.

I guess he thinks men should be able to have babies too...you know, equal rights and all.......I'm sure he must approve of LGBT as well by his logic.

You can choose to grow, or not, it's up to you.

Much love!
