The Transforming Word of God

Amen.
It is ALL about the work God has done. He created the world and all in it. He led a CHOSEN ppl to the promised land.
He gave the most treasured thing in heaven that the world might be SAVED through his son Jesus !
He continually keeps his promises in his word.
God has done it all and continues to do it all by our submission and obedience to Him, through his Spirit.
Nothing we have here can be offered to one who holds the splendor of heave, we cannot outgive God, he gave his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON !
Our works can only be done by the Holy Spirit bearing his fruit through us to be acceptable to the Father.
We must have a completely surrendered life to Him to be transformed in our mind,heart,spirit and soul,bringing our flesh under subjection to his Spirit. ELSE WE WILL CONFORM TO THE WORLD.

Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

Think deeply on God's Word, continually, get it deep inside you. Surrender to His Word, give yourself fully to those things you read, so that everyone can see how much good it's doing for you!

Be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptible and perfect will of God.

As we are transformed by God, as He renews our minds according to His Word, changing us into people who show the perfection of His will.

People see something they've never seen before, God's Work in a man. And it shows that His Will is perfect and good.

Are you being changed according to His Word?

How can we best cooperate with His work in us?

The wisdom in this post is simply profound. Yes soak on his word savor it feast upon it and drink in it's goodness let it fill you up and spill over in abundance

How does that match up with reading:

Gal 3:2 This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?

The Bible is talking about "hearing" with faith!!! Not reading but hearing!!

And what about:

Jn 5:39,40 “You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.

Those whom Jesus was talking to back then had fully surrender themselves to those things they read but not to Jesus Christ. They were not "hearing with fiath", but rather they were trying to get to heaven by "reading with faith"!

Gal 3:22 But the Scripture has shut up everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

The Scriptures are worth reading but surrendering fully to those things you read is not the same thing as receiving the promise by faith in Jesus Christ!!!!!

I see this over and over and over - people calling themselves Christian are depending on there reading the Bible as the Word of God instead of listening personally to Jesus Christ as the Word of God!! THAT IS WRONG AND WILL ONLY GET YOU TO HELL ACCORDING TO THE VERY SCRIPTURES YOU ARE PUTTING YOUR FAITH IN!!! YOUR FAITH MUST BE IN JESUS CHRIST AND HIM AS THE WORD OF GOD!!!

The very first words I heard from my Lord was "READ YOUR BIBLE", but that just proved that He was not the Bible but the One who gave me instructions like "READ YOUR BIBLE". Now that was over 20 ago and Him and I have talked a lot over the years. I hear from Him everyday called "Today", which of course is the day when you should hear from someone who never leaves you.

On this subject He has told me things like:

WHAT TEACHER DOESN’T PUT A BOOK IN FRONT OF HIS STUDENTS TODAY; YET NOT JUST A BOOK BUT OVERHEAD TRANSPARENCIES, VISUALS, AND OTHER MATERIAL? FOR I TELL YOU TRULY, IF THEY ARE NOT LISTENING TO ME THEY ARE NOT MY PUPIL, THEY ARE NOT MY STUDENT; I TELL YOU TRULY, THEY ARE NOT MY DISCIPLE UNLESS THEY ARE HEARING FROM ME. SO DON’T TELL THEM TO READ THE BOOK, THEM TO TAKE THE CLASS!”

So, I tell people to listen to the Teacher, who also happens to be the Lord or lords! So you have better listen to Him for the instuctions He personally also has to give you. So I would never tell people to surrender to what they read but to what they hear from there Lord! Like Paul, the only thing I want to find out from you has to do with hearing Him by faith!!

He once told me:

AS INSTRUCTIONS ARE GIVEN TO A SERVANT, AND WISDOM AND PARABLES TO A SON, AND AS JOKES ARE GIVEN TO A FRIEND, SO I LOVE YOU IS SAID TO A BRIDE.

So what are you hearing from Him? I hope it is instructions, wisdom, jokes, and those wonderful words, "I love you."

The first time I heard Him tell me, "Karl, I love you", I was driving and tears flooded my eyes so it made it hard to see the up coming stop sign. Since the there have been days when I have heard Him tell me "Karl, I love you." a dozen times that day.

Heb 3:8,9 Therefore, just as the Holy Spirit says,
“TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE,
DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS AS WHEN THEY PROVOKED ME,
AS IN THE DAY OF TRIAL IN THE WILDERNESS,

Of course "TODAY" is the day everyone should be hearing from our omni-present God! And since God is love what would you expect to hear from Him?

Mal 1:2 “I have loved you,” says the LORD. But you say, “How have You loved us?” “Was not Esau Jacob’s brother?” declares the LORD. “Yet I have loved Jacob;

So He loves you and according to the verse above, He says that!!! Yet His people have a habbit of not listening to Him. If that is the case they also say to Him in their heart, "How have you loved us?"

That just means you are not listening - just like writing that you have to surrender to what you read! Even writing that clearly indicates that you are not surrendering to Him who talks to you "TODAY". His sheep hear His voice!! Or do we?

Mal 2:1 “And now this commandment is for you, O priests. “If you do not listen, and if you do not take it to heart to give honor to My name,” says the LORD of hosts, “then I will send the curse upon you and I will curse your blessings; and indeed, I have cursed them already, because you are not taking it to heart.

We know the name Jesus Christ has, right?

Rev 19:13 He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.

He is not the Bible! He is the One who His sheep hear from! So His name is called The Word of God, and always has been!!

Mal 1:1 The oracle of the word of the LORD to Israel through Malachi.

Take a close look at how Malachi started the book in the Bible he wrote. An oracle is something said - thus 'word of the Lord' is the One giving the oracle through Malachi! It could have been written:

The oracle of Jesus Christ to Israel through Malachi. - because Jesus Christ has always been named "The Word of God" or in this case "the word of the Lord" - same thing.

And as that oracle from Jesus Christ (The Word of God) explains - “If you do not listen, and if you do not take it to heart to give honor to My name,” says the LORD of hosts, “then I will send the curse upon you and I will curse your blessings; and indeed, I have cursed them already, because you are not taking it to heart.

You give honor to His name "The Word of god" by listen to what He has to say to you personally - but we have not done that so already our blessing are being cursed by God (not me)!! Of course He is the forgiving type!! Turn back to Him! Start listen to Him today! Stop trying to get to heaven by surrendering to the Scriptures which shut up everyone under sin - and start seeking Jesus Christ as the Word of God and surrendering to Him by making Him your Lord and King!! Do what the Father said on the mountain!!!

Mat 9:7 Then a cloud formed, overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud, “This is My beloved Son, listen to Him!”

If anyone reading this has not yet heard His still small voice "Today" I want to encourage you to turn to Him, ask Him a question like, "Lord Jesus Christ, how do you feel about me?" and then pay attention with your spiritual sense to what He has for you!! You can have the Bible in the next room, because you are not seeking the Bible you are seeking Him!!

He is the - Transforming Word of God

The more you know the sayings of Scripture, the better able you will be know know the voice of your Master. There are those who are prone to declare to themselves that the voice they hear in their mind is the voice of God, but people are masters of self-deception.

Discard the Bible at your own peril.

The more you know the Lord the better able you will be at understanding the sayings of the Scriptures!

Less than an hour ago the Lord was talking to me and told me, "Know-it-alls very rarely learn it all."

So are you going to try and be a know-it-all before seeking the Lord?

Is it not written to seek first the Kingdom of God - which would include the King of the Kingdom, right?

Too often people try to come to know all about the Lord by first trying to know all the Scriptures, when they first need to seek the Lord!! He will have them reading Scripture, will He not?

If you were going to take a college course, do you first get the textbook and read it though or do you first get the text book and take it to class to get your assignment from the teacher?

So consider why you wrote: "Surrender to His Word, give yourself fully to those things you read," Do you not need to surrender the Jesus Christ?

Jesus told the Jews that above - was He presuming too much?

He said He did and said what the Father told Him!

And why did we get a record of that statement from God if that is not still happening with people?

The presumption should obviously be that it is still happening today, simply because God choose to have us study about that problem. But are we willing to "Consider" that it might apply to us?

So not only have I considered much about this and partly because I have heard much from the Lord about this! We two have talk and walked together and I assure you that He considers it a problem today!!

But how about you? Are you' considering it and thus talking to the Lord about it? You are not "presuming" it is not a problem today, are you?

God is love, so indeed I wish you much love - but I mean that you are going to spend time talking to love and listening to what He say to you personally. I think you will find out that the Bible is right by naming Him the "Logos"

Rev 19:13 He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word (logos) of God.

He has a title, a name, and it is the Logos of God. He is called that because He talks to us personally. I would think anyone spending a lot of time walking and talking with Him, and going over things with Him would know that. The Bible explains it, so even someone just studying the Bible should know this also. The logos is not simply words that emanate from Him, the logos is Him! We understand it is Him what we hear Him talking to us, right?

Still there are some saying that we must follow the Bible, as opposed to Him. And there are some saying we have to surrender to the Bible instead of Him. And there are some saying the Bible is the living and active Word of God, instead of Him. And there are some raising the Bible over their head and proclaiming "I am going to peach The Word" but they are not preaching Him talking to you personally! So today there are some searching the Scriptures thinking in them they have eternal life as opposed to actually coming to Him. There is nothing new under the sun.

So yes indeed, "Consider" and don't just presume. We are hearing Him talk to us via that small voice of His, right? So we have things He told us to pass on to others if needed, right?

He once told me:

SHOULDN’T YOU HEAR FROM A MAN YOU’RE JUDGING WORTHY OF DEATH AND EXAMINE WHETHER THERE IS TRUTH IN WHAT HE SAYS. SO IT IS THAT I HAVE MADE HEARING FROM ME THE VERY THINGS THAT GIVES YOU ETERNAL LIFE.

You know how you kill the One whose name is called "The Word of God"? You pretend He is not around today so that you don't listen to Him! So you deny His name "The Word of God" and then apply it to a Book that He had written to tell you about Him. Thereby making an idol 'your god' out of the book instead of making Him your God.
