Rev1:17-18Rev 1:17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as a dead man. And He laid His right hand upon me, saying, "Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last, Note: After John heard the word of God, his own words were dead, see: 2Co 4:10 always carrying about in the body the death of Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 11 For we who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus' sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. Paul also bears the death of Jesus in the body so that the life of Jesus may be manifested on him.He laid His right hand upon me, saying, "Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last, see:Isa 44:6 "Thus says Yahweh, the King of Israel And his Redeemer, Yahweh of hosts: 'I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me. Rev 1:18 and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades. Notes: And the living One: Yahweh is the living God:Jer 10:10 But Yahweh is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth quakes, And the nations cannot endure His indignation. Da 6:26 "I make a decree that in all the dominion of my kingdom men are to fear and tremble before the God of Daniel; For He is the living God and enduring forever, And His kingdom is one which will not be destroyed, And His dominion [will be] forever. I was dead: Jesus gave up his breath on the cross and the curtain of the temple was split in two—one half, his body was lifted up into heaven, see:Ac 1:9 And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10 And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was departing, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them; 11 and they also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven." And after resurrection, the other half is the words of God, the Word of God, see:Tit 2:10 not pilfering, but showing all good faith that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in every respect. Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened; and behold, a white horse, and He who sat upon it [is] called Faithful and True; and in righteousness He judges and wages war. 12 And His eyes [are] a flame of fire, and upon His head [are] many diadems; and He has a name written [upon Him] which no one knows except Himself. 13 And [He is] clothed with a robe dipped in blood; and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white [and] clean, were following Him on white horses. 15 And from His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may smite the nations; and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. 16 And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."I am alive: after resurrection, Jesus is the words spoken from the Scripture, see:Jn 2:21 But He was speaking of the temple of His body. 22 When therefore He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He said this; and they believed the Scripture, and the word which Jesus had spoken. Jn 5:39 "You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is these that bear witness of Me; 40 and you are unwilling to come to Me, that you may have life. (It is the Scriptures that testify to Jesus.)Jn 5:45 "Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father; the one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have set your hope. 46 "For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote of Me. 47 "But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?" Ac 8:34 And the eunuch answered Philip and said, "Please [tell me], of whom does the prophet say this? Of himself, or of someone else?" 35 And Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture he preached Jesus to him. Ac 17:2 And according to Paul's custom, he went to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures, 3 explaining and giving evidence that the Christ had to suffer and rise again from the dead, and [saying,] "This Jesus whom I am proclaiming to you is the Christ." Ac 18:28 for he powerfully refuted the Jews in public, demonstrating by the Scriptures that Jesus was the Christ. 2Ki 22:13 "Go, inquire of Yahweh for me and the people and all Judah concerning the words of this book that has been found, for great is the wrath of Yahweh that burns against us, because our fathers have not listened to the words of this book, to do according to all that is written concerning us." 2Ch 34:21 "Go, inquire of Yahweh for me and for those who are left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book which has been found; for great is the wrath of Yahweh which is poured out on us because our fathers have not observed the word of Yahweh, to do according to all that is written in this book." Alive forevermore:Ac 25:18 "And when the accusers stood up, they [began] bringing charges against him not of such crimes as I was expecting; 19 but they [simply] had some points of disagreement with him about their own religion and about a certain dead man, Jesus, whom Paul asserted to be alive. The Lord lives and speaks in Paul:2Co 13:3 since you are seeking for proof of the Christ who speaks in me, and who is not weak toward you, but mighty in you. 1Pe 1:10 As to this salvation, the prophets who prophesied of the grace that [would come] to you made careful search and inquiry, 11 seeking to know what person or time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating as He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories to follow. 12 It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, in these things which now have been announced to you through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven-- things into which angels long to look. Jn 14:16 "And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; 17 [that is] the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not behold Him or know Him, [but] you know Him because He abides with you, and will be in you. 18 "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 "After a little while the world will behold Me no more; but you [will] behold Me; because I live, you shall live also. 20 "In that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.Ps 22:25 From You [comes] my praise in the great assembly; I shall pay my vows before those who fear Him. 26 The afflicted shall eat and be satisfied; Those who seek Him will praise Yahweh. Let your heart live forever!(Let your heart live forever!)Isa 25:6 And Yahweh of hosts will prepart a lavish banquet for all peoples on this mountain; A banquet of aged wine, choice pieces with marrow, [And] refined, aged wine. 7 And on this mountain He will swallow up the covering which is over all peoples, Even the veil which is stretched over all nations. 8 He will swallow up death for all time, And Yahweh God will wipe tears away from all faces, And He will remove the reproach of His people from all the earth; For Yahweh has spoken. 9 And it will be said in that day, "Behold, this is our God for whom we have waited that He might save us. This is Yahweh for whom we have waited; Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation." Ps 116:9 I shall walk before Yahweh In the land of the living. 10 I believed when I said, "I am greatly afflicted." 2Co 4:10 always carrying about in the body the death of Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. 11 For we who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus' sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. 12 So death works in us, but life in you. 13 But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, " I believed, therefore I spoke, "we also believe, therefore also we speak; 14 knowing that He who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and will present us with you. Isa 30:8 Now go, write it on a tablet before them And inscribe it on a scroll, That it may serve in the time to come As a witness forever. Job 19:23 "Oh that my words were written! Oh that they were inscribed in a book! 24 "That with an iron stylus and lead They were engraved in the rock forever! 25 "And as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, And at the last He will take His stand on the earth. Jn 6:62 ["What] then if you should behold the Son of Man ascending where He was before? 63 "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life. Isa 59:21 "And as for Me, this is My covenant with them," says Yahweh: "My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring's offspring," says Yahweh, "from now and forever." 1Co 15:20 But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep. 21 For since by a man [came] death, by a man also [came] the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ's at His coming, 24 then [comes] the end, when He delivers up the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death. 27 For He has put all things in subjection under His feet. But when He says, "All things are put in subjection," it is evident that He is excepted who put all things in subjection to Him. 28 And when all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One who subjected all things to Him, that God may be all in all. Have the keys of death and of Hades:The keys of death:Ac 2:36 "Therefore let all the house of Israel know for certain that God has made Him both Lord and Christ-- this Jesus whom you crucified." Ac 10:40 "God raised Him up on the third day, and granted that He should become visible, 41 not to all the people, but to witnesses who were chosen beforehand by God, [that is,] to us, who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead. 42 "And He ordered us to preach to the people, and solemnly to testify that this is the One who has been appointed by God as Judge of the living and the dead. 43 "Of Him all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins." Jn 5:19 Jesus therefore answered and was saying to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless [it is] something He sees the Father doing; for whatever [the Father] does, these things the Son also does in like manner. 20 "For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and greater works than these will He show Him, that you may marvel. 21 "For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes. 22 "For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son, 23 in order that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. 24 "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. 25 "Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear shall live. 26 "For just as the Father has life in Himself, even so He gave to the Son also to have life in Himself; 27 and He gave Him authority to execute judgment, because He is [the] Son of Man. 2Ti 4:1 I solemnly charge [you] in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: 2 preach the word; be ready in season [and] out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. Mt 12:36 "And I say to you, that every careless word that men shall speak, they shall render account for it in the day of judgment. 37 "For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned." (Attention: When speaking the word of God, you are justified; speaking on your own, still in death.)Sin is lawlessness:1Jn 3:4 Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. The wages of sin is death:Ro 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.Ro 10:8 But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart"-- that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, 9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus [as] Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; 10 for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. (The Word is in the mouth and in the heart, and confess that the Word is Jesus and Lord; believe in heart and confess with mouth, then resulting in salvation.) See again:Ac 13:44 And the next Sabbath nearly the whole city assembled to hear the word of God. 45 But when the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy, and [began] contradicting the things spoken by Paul, and were blaspheming. 46 And Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and said, "It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; since you repudiate it, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles. 47 "For thus the Lord has commanded us, 'I have placed You as a light for the Gentiles, That You should bring salvation to the end of the earth.'" 48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they [began] rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord; and as many as had been appointed to eternal life believed. (What Paul speaks is the Word of God, and whoever believes is appointed to eternal life; and whoever rejects is judged unworthy of eternal life.)The keys of Hades:ps 9:17 The wicked will return to Sheol, [Even] all the nations who forget God.(Note: The wicked men: 1Sa 2:12 Now the sons of Eli were wicked men; they did not know Yahweh) Pr 1:10 My son, if sinners entice you, Do not consent. 11 If they say, "Come with us, Let us lie in wait for blood, Let us ambush the innocent without cause; 12 Let us swallow them alive like Sheol, Even whole, as those who go down to the pit; (The pit:pr 22:14 The mouth of an adulteress is a deep pit; He who is cursed of Yahweh will fall into it.) Pr 9:13 The woman of folly is boisterous, [She is] naive, and knows nothing. 14 And she sits at the doorway of her house, On a seat by the high places of the city, 15 Calling to those who pass by, Who are making their paths straight: 16 "Whoever is naive, let him turn in here," And to him who lacks understanding she says, 17 "Stolen water is sweet; And bread [eaten] in secret is pleasant." 18 But he does not know that the dead are there, [That] her guests are in the depths of Sheol. Pr 2:17 That leaves the companion of her youth, And forgets the covenant of her God; 18 For her house sinks down to death, And her tracks [lead] to the dead; 19 None who go to her return again, Nor do they reach the paths of life.(Note: The covenant:Mal 3:1 "Behold, I am going to send My messenger, and he will clear the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple; and the messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight, behold, He is coming," says Yahweh of hosts.) Hab 2:5 "Furthermore, wine betrays the Chaldeans, So that he does not stay at home. He enlarges his appetite like Sheol, And he is like death, never satisfied. He also gathers to himself all nations And collects to himself all peoples. (Notes: Da 1:4 to teach them the literature and language of the Chaldeans. The literature and language of the Chaldeans.Eze 12:13 "I shall also spread My net over him, and he will be caught in My snare. And I shall bring him to Babylon in the land of the Chaldeans; yet he will not see it, though he will die there. Does not stay at home, see:Heb 3:6 but Christ [was faithful] as a Son over His house whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the boast of our hope firm until the end. Those who do not abide in Christ, enlarge their appetites like Sheol.)Pr 7:21 With her many persuasions she entices him; With her flattering lips she seduces him. 22 Suddenly he follows her, As an ox goes to the slaughter, Or as [one in] fetters to the discipline of a fool, 23 Until an arrow pierces through his liver; As a bird hastens to the snare, So he does not know that it [will cost him] his life. 24 Now therefore, [my] sons, listen to me, And pay attention to the words of my mouth. 25 Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways, Do not stray into her paths. 26 For many are the victims she has cast down, And numerous are all her slain. 27 Her house is the way to Sheol, Descending to the chambers of death.(Attention: The words from the mouth of God are the Word of God and the name of Jesus. Not listening to the words from the mouth of God are the ways of the prostitute to Sheol and the chambers of death.) Harlot Babylon the great:Rev 17:5 and upon her forehead a name [was] written, a mystery, "BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.")Mt 15:7 "You hypocrites, rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying, 8 'This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far away from Me. 9 'But in vain do they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the precepts of men.'
