There's a certain discussion taking place between Jesus and a young man.
The young man asks Jesus, "what must I do to be saved? "
Jesus tells him to keep the commandments.
The young man replies, "I have kept all these since I was young. "
Jesus tells him there is yet one thing that he lacks.
He must sell all his goods to the poor and follow him.
I know most of us don't see ourselves as that young rich man.
I know a lot of us take most of what we have for granted.
Electricity, running water, tiolets, microwaves, refrigerators, transportation, housing...
All of these things put us all in a catagory of "rich" when you think about people and countries that have none of these things.
There is a time coming when none of us will have these things. Or only those that comply with the system will be granted such extravagances.
That will be the time when we either run for the hills or look back to what we're leaving behind.
Remember Lot's wife?
Only when our faith resides in the Lord and his awakening our spirits, and we stop putting our faith in our material wants,
only then will we see a true revival.
And there is one coming on a very GRAND scale.
Just remember to not look back.
