I remember the frenzied running to an fro collecting knowledge. I also remember the great relief and peace of it finally beginning to actually settle inwardly.
Amen and the peace that comes from the Holy Spirit bringing passages to our mind/heart. I cannot begin to tell you how many times during a conversation with a friend or loved one that God brings His word to my mind and I share it with them . It happens all the time on Tuesday and Thursday night life groups I'm a part of with 2 different churches during our discussions. And I just say it that God brought this to my mind and share it. Its always relevant to the discussion.

Those are precious times. They are hard to find. There always seems to come along someone immature who spoils it with attention seeking, puffed up nonsense. But those rare times always seem to me like making a big pot of soup together, each putting in an ingredient God gives them.

Sometimes, even in here, a hush falls in a thread and God keeps away the clanging cymbals for a time as we make a pot and eat together. It’s very precious when He does that.

That would be a interesting read since the Triune Godhead is found everywhere in scriptures H2Soul.
Even the rabbis believed this, not our Modern day rabbis.
J.
It took me a long time to understand it and with prayer and seeking the Holy Spirit to guide me through scripture and open my eyes to see I finally understood it.

I just don’t see that the first resurrection includes the second death at all. I don’t
Daniel 12:2 should be referenced!

I've believed it since I was a lad!

I was reading back through this thread to see where it was I began to be fully aware of that paradigm shift. HERE is where I first became fully aware of it, when reading that Daniel verse.

I saw with more clarity the other half of the gospel. I saw the first resurrection and judgement to honor or dishonor and outer darkness forever.

And I saw the second resurrection and judgement, after the thousand years, but not as clearly, as life or the second death. I mean, I did see it as clearly but…there will be less asked of many there.

So some of the first will be last and some of the last will be first.

And so now I see even more clearly what epi means when he says, we will be judged by what we did with what we were given, not on what we believe/doctrine.

Think your exegesis is wrong
You are free to think so....but “thinking” so means nothing if our thinking is not accurate. We all hope that we are right, but only Jesus knows whether we will make the grade. “Many” will assume that they have it all right at the judgment, but they will be shown to be mistaken...and to their horror, completely rejected. (Matthew 7:21-23) Jesus will judge righteously, not sentimentally.

Rev 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Rev 5:11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
Rev 5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
Rev 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
I think you need to read that again.....
Look at the the words that you highlighted....these are speaking about the elect in verse 10 ruling earthly subjects, but the following verse 11, where the highlighting is, this is speaking about angels and others standing around about the throne...ten thousand times ten thousand of them.

What are they saying in verse 12? The “Lamb” (Jesus) is “worthy” “to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.” From whom does the Lamb receive all these things? Can God gift himself of the things he already possesses?

Verse 13 tells us that “every creature” whether angelic or earthly are heard saying... “Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.”
There are two mentioned here, receiving honour. One sitting on the throne, (The Father) AND the Lamb, (Jesus Christ) but where is the third and supposedly equal part of your trinity? He is MIA as “he” is in almost every mention of Father and son together.

So “thinking” we are correct is one thing, and “being” correct in our thinking is another matter altogether. We will stick to what we 'love'.....to what our hearts are drawn to.....but if it isn’t the truth, then our devotion to an idea that is erroneous will never lead us to life.(Matthew 7:13-14)
Satan is very determined to take as many down with him as he can deceive....especially in these 'last days'....

2 Thessalonians 2:9-12....
"The arrival of the lawless one will be by Satan’s working with all kinds of miracles and signs and false wonders, 10 and with every kind of evil deception directed against those who are perishing, because they found no place in their hearts for the truth so as to be saved. 11 Consequently God sends on them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false. 12 And so all of them who have not believed the truth but have delighted in evil will be condemned." (NET)

The "truth" "found no place in the hearts" of those who will "perish"....why? Because it seems like a lie to them, and the lie has been presented as truth for so long, that the majority believe it and will defend it strongly. God allows this delusion because it is not in the hearts of these people to dismiss it. So until the judgment comes, we will labour under our delusions until Jesus reveals who has the truth. Seeing as how "no one can come to the son" without an invitation from the Father, its a wait and see...isn't it? (John 6:65)

With all respect H2S, you would be the first in Christian history to do so.

How do you pray to the Father brakelite?
THROUGH Christ Jesus, not so?

See, we have a problem here, Orthodox Judaism only pray to Hashem since Jesus never existed yet Messiah received worship in His brief stay on earth.
Same with the Muslims, they pay directly to Allah but Jesus is mentioned in the Quran.
No, either the Jews have it right, and we are wrong, or we are right, and they are wrong.
As you read your Bible, do you really believe what you are reading since a great doubt has been cast upon the New Testament as the infallible word of the Lord.

Here’s a list of single Bible verses that explicitly reference all three members of the Trinity.

Oh, and I better give some credit to Logos Bible Software on this. That tool makes it easy to find verses that refer to some of the Trinity members via pronouns. For example, Matthew 12:28 refers to all three members of the Trinity, but since Jesus is speaking, he is only referred to with the pronoun “I.” Good luck trying to figure this out with a regular concordance!

1. Matthew 3:16
“After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting on Him.”

2. Matthew 12:28
“But if I [Jesus] cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.”

3. Matthew 28:19
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit . . .”

4. Luke 3:22
“And the Holy Spirit descended upon Him [Jesus] in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came out of heaven, “You are My [the Father’s] beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased.”

5. John 14:26
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My [Jesus’] name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.”

6. John 15:26
“When the Helper comes, whom I [Jesus] will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me . . .”

7. Acts 1:4
“Gathering them together, He [Jesus] commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, “Which,” He said, “you heard of from Me . . .”

8. Acts 2:33
“Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He [Jesus] has poured forth this which you both see and hear.”

9. Acts 10:38
“You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”

10. Romans 1:4
“Who was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead, according to the Spirit of holiness, Jesus Christ our Lord . . .”

11. Romans 8:9
“However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him.”

12. 1 Corinthians 6:11
Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

13. 2 Corinthians 13:14
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.

14. Galatians 4:6
Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!”

15. Ephesians 1:17
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him.

16. Ephesians 2:18
For through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.

17. Ephesians 2:22
In whom [Jesus] you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit.

18. Titus 3:6
Whom [the Holy Spirit] He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior.

19. Hebrews 9:14
How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

20. 1 Peter 1:2
According to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: may grace and peace be yours in the fullest measure.

(Thanks to Logos Bible Software’s Clause Search, making this list was a lot easier than it looks.)

Of course, there are more passages that mention all three Trinity members (1 Co 12:4–6; Eph 1:13–14; 4:4–6; Jude 20–21), and many more that describe the relationships between the three persons of the Trinity.

You’ll also find a few passages in the Old Testament that mention all members of the Trinity (depending on your interpretation). One example is Isaiah 48:16, in which many believe it is Jesus who says, “and now the Lord GOD has sent Me, and His Spirit.” Many scholars also suggest that the enigmatic “angel of the Lord” we see in the Old Testament is actually Jesus.

I firmly believe in the Triune Godhead, we do not worship three God's but echad...I and the Father [WE ARE] echad, yet distinct.

What I said was....
"So “thinking” we are correct is one thing, and “being” correct in our thinking is another matter altogether. Where did I exclude myself?

The latter part was a reference to the scripture I quoted, which I concluded with..."So until the judgment comes, we will labour under our delusions until Jesus reveals who has the truth. Seeing as how "no one can come to the son" without an invitation from the Father, its a wait and see...isn't it? (John 6:65)
Address what was said please.....Jesus will decide who is deceived....won't he? What you or I, or anyone else "thinks" really won't matter at the end of the day because the truth is not about what any of us "think" or even "believe", if it is in error.

Slow down bro, and get to know me a little before presuming I am dissing the Godhead. My post to H2S was in reference to her declaration that she quote:
understand it
in reference to what was being discussed in your own words, "the triune Godhead". I suggest no-one can explain the Orthodox trinity formulaic doctrine in any way they it anyone else can understand it. Isn't that why we have such a divergence of opinion on what, how, when, and who said, the trinity is actually a thing,? Even those who do believe in the trinity can't agree on how there are 3 persons making one. There a wide division between the Catholic version and the various protestant versions. There's a wide division between my own ideas and what my own church teaches. For goodness sake, there's a wide difference between what my church has written down as it's core fundamental belief on the Godhead, and what some of it's leading theologians believe. The point being Jo is that everyone wants their opinion accepted as gospel and no-one actually knows diddly squat. We are discussing infinite matters and are pretending we mortal sinful helpless numbskulls actually understand? No disrespect intended H2S. That is why I ever only go so far in discussing the Godhead. And why I detest the very thought of any church devising as creed and demanding it's members sign to it on pain of disfellowship or worse, should they harbor doubts.
For the record.
I believe the Father is the Almighty.
I believe the Son is God and worthy of worship, adoration, honor, and glory.
I believe there is a holy Spirit that belongs to both the Father and the Son.
I believe all 3 are persons, but the Spirit not in the same sense necessarily as the Father and Son.
How they comprise one God? I have no idea. But scripture says they must, in some way, accomplish just that. What they haven't done is explain it.

Hinei, mah tov umah na'im shevet achim gahm yachad (how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity)!

Psa 133:1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
Psa 133:2 It is like the precious oil upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard; that came down upon the skirt of his garments;
Psa 133:3 Like the dew of Hermon, that cometh down upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
