John 20:28

Anyone who understands english should be able to figure this out.
There is nothing to figure out...Jesus is Lord and his father is God...
Acts 2:36
Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

"Thomas replied, “My Lord and my God"
That shows two individuals in English... one is Lord and one is God.
This is what Stephen saw...
Acts 7:56
And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.
Is it your contention that Philip and Stephen saw two different things?

Jesus is not the Father. He is the second person in the trinity.
There is no mention of a trinity in the scripture. Quit with the lies.

Jesus had the power to forgive sins.

Who could forgive sins but God alone?

Jesus had the power to forgive sins.

Who could forgive sins but God alone?

The Son of God, the Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth.

Who gave Jesus the power to forgive sins?

His God, who is God alone.

And That's Why It Is Written: "ALL Scripture Is Profitable For
Doctrine..." Therefore, let us Not "leave Anything Out!":
.
And by saying let us not leave anything out you mean that you should add things? There is no mention of a trinity in the scripture and there is no mention of Jesus being God in the scripture. In order to support your position you need to add to the scriptures.

There is no plain passage in scripture that says " Jesus is God" The scripture is clear that Jesus is the son of God. So unless you are saying that Jesus is the son of himself. You are not making an argument.

Your bible must be missing pages... Matt 18
21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

So here is a question for you ...have you ever forgiven anyone who sinned against you? I suppose your answer is no.
Matt 18
34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

You do know that you can forgive sins also don't you?

I see from your post #229 that you’re referring to Matthew 18:21-22. Your point being that forgiving those who sin against us makes us godlike, not God.

3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Godlike but not God. There is only one God, that is the father.

This is total nonsense. It was the blood of God which was shed for the sins of humanity.

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. (Acts 20:28)

Here Luke is writing by divine inspiration and plainly calling Jesus "GOD" who has purchased the Church with His own blood. This one verse should settle the matter altogether. And all English translations have the same verse.
The "he " in the passage is referring to Jesus...God is a spirit he does not have blood. God receives blood sacrifice. You are claiming that God was a sacrifice

@Saint of God

I don’t believe the claim of Jesus is fully 100% God when he left the heavenly realm, he was maybe 50% God and 100% human.

Jesus being born in fleshly body became lower than the angels is something to consider.

I do see Jesus however in the fullness of God having done everything he said he would do, as now being the Lord God Almighty.

Many people have a problem with that though… but when you think about Jesus being the WORD, God spoken Word was Jesus who became flesh who was the Lord God Almighty.

That is the end result for me and my understanding and doesn’t matter if people have a problem with it as GOD SEES right through me and my nakedness… the only one who clothes me in his righteousness is Jesus when I abide in him.
Your belief makes Jesus a hybrid. Having the spirit of God does not make a person God. If you were abiding in Jesus you would not be writing that rubbish.... Jesus said God is his father...If God is Jesus' father how could Jesus be God?

The fact that you agree that God is the Father of Jesus, Jesus being the Son of God, is the greatest and most sure evidence there is that Jesus is God. What else could Jesus possibly be seeing we all agree He is the Son of God? The Bible is replete with numerous affirmations from the beginning of creation to Revelation, that like begets like. Did God the Father, the perfect sovereign of the universe, beget a creature unlike Himself, or one begotten in His own "express" image and in His own likeness, having the fullness of the Godhead in Him? You choose. Jesus is His Father's Son, or He isn't.

You are being willfully ignorant and silly...Since God is the father of Jesus then Jesus cannot be his own father. Since we agree that Jesus is the son of God then it follows that Jesus cannot be the son of himself. You are saying God is the son of God. How many Gods do you have?
