Myself and two of my younger sisters are wanting to start a bible study with just us on "abiding in Christ". Not sure how to start here and don't want to use a book that does not measure up to the bible as, we all are sola scriptura.
Thanks ahead for any and all suggestions.
Thanks! :Hanging:

its simple sister . just read the bible and study that and stay in continual prayer to GOD .
IF we want the truth , ITS IN THERE and its real simple to understand . GOD never said lest ye become as wise scholars
ye shall not inherit the kingdom . HE said as LIL CHILDREN . LET US LEARN from the author of our faith . LET US LEARN
from the GOD who inspired that bible . Let us learn THAT JESUS and let us learn what the first men left us in said bible .
ITS TRULY SO SIMPLE SISTER , even a wee babe can learn and grasp the pure beauty of the lovely truth in those pages .

in your prayerful/Careful Bible study: Things That Differ.

It Certainly helped me with all of my Confusion I had over 30 years ago.

Agreed. The Bible (KJB) + legitimate Bible study tools as on Bible Hub + the teaching of the Holy Spirit will lead you into all truth. But this will require serious time commitment and effort. Therefore "a workman that need not be ashamed" is how one is approved unto God.

I wouldn't recommend any. The problem is we have long been in a time of strong delusion and apostasy. To the contrary, what these times are supposed to be, is a time of God pouring out His spirit upon all flesh (meaning directly and individually).

What I do recommend is praying before studying that God reveals just what He would prefer during these times...and yes gathering two or more in Jesus' name.

Remember, it was the Holy Spirit who was to guide us into all truth during these times, sent by Jesus to help us.

I tend to agree with you, the church is corrupt anymore :(
Was looking for some direction as none of us are "leaders" but, we do plan on the Holy Spirit TO lead us. Thanks Scott.
