you have a point in what you are saying
let us say that i truly did have some sort of mental disorder that made things up such as the abuse.
how would you treat such a family member?
or what if i was evil and hateful and lying? how would you treat me?
if a family member has the issues im accused of and you claimed ot be christian would yout reat them with condemnation and like the butt of jokes?
what of their sins?

How would I treat such a family member? While I do have a flesh and blood family, I'm dead to them; but you might recall that I protected and cared for someone in their distress. I remained by their side until they left this world. They suffered from DID like we do (they were a survivor) and later on, dementia. Dementia is an organic affliction and there were times when they mistook me for someone else. What did I do?

I bore it in silence because they didn't know what they were doing, lily. This is precisely what the Lord commanded me to do: love them just like He loves them. Jesus Christ is more merciful than men and women in this flesh imagine Him to be. The scripture tells us that God will not turn His face away from the afflicted and neither should we. I know this to be trustworthy and true from personal experience.

What if you were evil and a liar? I wouldn't treat you any differently than anyone else. I don't treat my siblings of flesh and blood with contempt... I honor their wishes instead.

The individual whom the Lord had me serve was condemned by their family of believers, lily (they were Christians). They were accused of horrific things, and they cast them out. They turned a blind eye and deaf ear to their distress, but the Lord Himself inclined His ear toward them. Think about that.

Or if someone says these things to you, I am sorry. Try not to come into agreement with these lies.
My family said similar things when I was back with them for some time years ago. I am a hypochondriac. I just think there was something. Even when I had a bleeding in my spine from a spinal tap, being in hospital, they would say I am simulating.
you are being helpful....
something similar hapepned before when i had bl**d in my urine and my sister said i was lying. but there was proof.....
the lengths people go through..

Hello my name is Cheryl, a friend hear told me about this form nice to be here with you all.
I have a question,
I am am about a year and a half into deliverance, I've only known for about 8 months of that time that I have parts. I'm wondering if there is anyone here that could recommend a deliverance prayer minister/inner healer that specializes in DID/SRA? Thank you in advance for any advice you all might have. God bless you all

Hello, @Cheryl. It's nice to meet you.
I would strongly recommend more along the lines of a Biblical counselor/prayer minister who is trained in Theophostic Prayer Ministry (if you can find someone trained in that type of ministry).

Most deliverance ministers have no clue about alters and will call alters "demons." And since they usually aren't open to learning about DID, they will try to "cast out" alters ....which totally traumatizes them and greatly hinders healing. Those trained in TPM (Theophistic Prayer Ministry) are usually also trained to minister to parts/alters, and also deal with spiritual warfare in a gentle way that doesn't traumatize alters.

I hope this helps.

I would also like to mention that once alters begin to hear and receive the truth, and they meet Jesus ....demonic attachments and strongholds begin to fall away. This is a very gentle form of deliverance which is Holy Spirit led.

So do I, every day.
I think this is a struggle most (if not all) survivors have had due to the enormity of what our experiences have been, and the feeling that there has been such immense damage and so much healing to walk through. Most survivors never even come to awareness, let alone begin their journey of healing and deprogramming. Most survivors who do begin their journey, have come to awareness after age 30... many much older. So @lilygrace has a jump on many survivors.

{Sis @lilygrace ...I hope you can take hope in this at least. You've bravely begun the fight against your handlers and programmers at a fairly young age. Try not to be down on yourself. God is with you.❤️}

This song came to mind today. It's very encouraging and uplifting. God used this song in my life during healing from a very specific trauma. I may type that out sometime.

Hello again, I have something that comes up in the deliverance/inner healing I do twice a week. I don't know anyone else that deals with it although I have heard about it. It is Ancestral Fragments. It seems to me I have been delivered of over a hundred and they cause all kinds of trouble in my system. I was adopted and also can see and feel in the spirit, so I believe somehow I was picked out by the dark side and was weighed down with Ancestral Inquiry but of course I'm not sure. Have you had any experience with this? Most of the time I feel very alone with this and it is pretty heavy because I don't know what they are doing in there but it can't be good, most are witches of some kind or another. They are very close to feeling like a part but they feel different and I can tell. They can still move my body, shake my head yes and no, things like that. It really is shocking they have that much influence. Thank you for your consideration

Hello, Cheryl. I have heard of this, but before I give my thoughts, I want to ask you something. Who told you these were ancestral fragments? Is this something that came from your deliverance/inner healing minister? What triggers them to come forward? Can you describe the setting and surrounding circumstances occurring when they present? Btw, if you feel more comfortable sharing in private, please feel free to private message me.

My advice to you is to seek a professional counselor for inner child work and inner damage work. It is not wise to do that alone as often people are led down bad paths that lead to more damage. A counselor is there to guide you thru things like that and steer you on course.

This is something I experienced myself in my own life working thru inner child healing. I suffered from an abusive relationship as a child and needed help. I worked thru it alone and got more damaged and damaged the lives of the people around me as a result.

I eventually found counseling and let go of the inner child work. I did heal from some things. But I ended up hurting people when I performed it by myself.

Hope this helps,

Devin

I read thru some of the alters discussion and am also concerned about that concept as it appears that it could be demonic to me. And if it's not readily apparent that it's demonic it could in fact turn out that way. The only other being that should be existing within someone is God.

Having Alters is not demonic. It is not demons. It's a fractured/dissociated soul that helped the person to survive something otherwise is not possible to survive.
God bless you ❤️

OK, Where does the bible talk about this? This is a Christian forum. Not some exotic forum.

The Lord came for the brokenhearted.
Luke 4:18

We all walk with the Lord.
God bless you
Let's say this is a new age technique to resolve trauma as I know it isn't discussed in the bible. Is there a website that covers this type of process?

I did find out that people with DID have alters which are alternate personalities. And the wikipedia article discusses a "Host" dominate personality. Which I find strange that they call it a "Host". Host (psychology) - Wikipedia

But is talking to alters something done in main stream psychology? What are the ramifications of doing such. All I could find was this in the article I linked:

The host is often the personality that seeks treatment. Therefore, the psychotherapists often deal primarily with the host personality. Part of the therapeutic process for DID involves helping the host recognize the alters and become aware when the alters are present. In some cases, the host is unaware of any alters or even that they have DID. In other cases, the host is aware of their condition, but they may not be aware of what the alters are or what they do while in those states. There are situations where the host wants therapy; however, one or more of the alters does not and can try to end the therapeutic process. While the host is aware of the person's body, the alters are not always aware that they share the same body as the host, which can lead to belief that suicide would have no effect on the host.
