What about the watered-down stuff they serve on airlines? (Fortunately, I haven't had to fly anywhere since the Covid shutdowns.) Yuck.

Sanka? That's not real coffee.

The Taster's Choice Instant stuff my mom loved? If life gave mulligans, I'd have bought Mom a Keurig for Christmas and then sent her a few gift packs of K-cups every Christmas, birthday, Easter, and Mother's Day. Miss her. Hey, Mother's day is coming up here in the U.S. For those of you whose Mom's are still alive, let 'em know you love 'em, okay?
My mom passed less than a year ago. Sometimes on walks God makes me smell male and female perfume. Today I smelt my moms perfume.

Since both my granddaughter and my stepson gave me Starbucks gift cards for Easter, I decided to try the Matcha Green Tea latte after somebody mentioned matcha in another thread. What I found interesting was that the matcha kept the woody taste of raw tea leaves. I drink lots of green tea out of K-cups, and it doesn't have this.

One particular Starbucks has something they call a Matcha Horchata that takes the Matcha Green Tea Latte and adds 4 shots of cinnamon dolce sauce. Mmmm! But only this one store offers it.

I picked up some oranges from the store and ate them, which is kinda like drinking orange juice. Later I found out that they fortify orange juice with vitamin D. So I'm thinking about picking up some orange juice from the store next.

My favorite is a brand called "Simply Orange". It doesn't have the metallic taste I find in Tropicana or the weak, watery taste some of the other brands have.

I'll check it out. Forgot to pick up some orange juice and I just got back from the store. Next time I can. I've honestly been craving orange juice and my energy has been low so I might need some vitamin D.

OK, I was craving OJ again so I went back to the store and picked up some frozen OJ cause I'm poor and it's all I can afford. But it is going to taste good. I think my body is telling me I need it.

I'm drinking the best coffee I've made at work in months!

Ever since I stopped buying the now $11/lb flavored coffee, and switched to the 3 lb for $7 Walmart coffee. Maybe at last I got the right brew! But who knows if I'll ever repeat it!

Much love!

Matcha is like condensed green tea... Super condensed. I love matcha.

I prefer the whisk sets and it is much better than coffee. $10 culinary matcha is a bit bitter, but ceremonial matcha is $10 million dollars.

k it isn't $10 million, it just feels like it

I had an energy drink today. My favorite with ginger in it and ginseng.

Ice water...or for a treat, A & W root beer. :)
You ever try homemade root beer?

I read it is nothing like the root beer we have.

How to Make Homemade Root Beer (Sassafras & Sarsaparilla Recipe!) - The Fermentation Adventure

I've picked up fermenting sima, tonight I'm starting a ginger bug, hopefully, and I turned some oolong tea into some soda.

The tea I regret after it came out as straight up hooch ... someone left it open and I had to dump it out.

But I am eyeballing this root beer idea.

Not sure about oolong hooch, but the homemade root beer sounds intriguing.

If fermentation is involved, does that mean it's alcoholic?

.
.

Fresh, clean water is the appointed drink for man's thirst. It is the ultimate physiological elixir.

I also enjoy fresh, pressed fruit and vegetable juices sparingly.

Nothing from a cow and/or a factory, thanks. :D

Just a slight amount, but maybe 1-2%. About the same amount of kombucha tea.

Unless someone leaves it open and it's exposed to the air then it's a lot stronger ... And it tasted awful.

I grew up in a Mormon family and we would go to Utah to have family reunions. They would have home brewed root beer there. It was really good tasting. When I was a practicing Mormon we would have single adult get togethers and have root beer floats. They were delicious too.
