An idea for your consideration.

So, we face climate change. Doubtless the wealthy west will survive. But the poor in Africa, Latin America, and southern Asia face some tough times ahead. Given this situation what is the appropriately ethical response? I have some ideas, but before I launch into them, I want to open up the forum to your thoughts.

Another question morally, is our neighbor just to be a believer ?

Btw, I don't believe in climate change. God has everything planned according to his will.

There have been periods of climate change before; at least twice. First was the ice age and then came the thaw. And perhaps even the flood might be called a climate change.

The difference between what happened before and what is happening now, is that the scientists tell us this bout of climate change is that the wealthy has caused/is causing it. It is very much our fault, which is what makes it a moral issue.

False cries of "global warming" are used to enslave people. Is that good? Ethical? No, it's not.

The earth temps go up and down over the centuries . . . Just like the other planets.

"Man made global warming" is a lie used to enslave people though taxation and deprivation, as those who would rule the world claim "moral high ground", asserting that man changes the earth's climate, even though it's the sun and it's cycles that does that.

50 years ago, it was the "coming ice age". Now it's "global warming". What next? A gun to your head. That's what the end game is.

Which scientists?

The data does not support global warming. Follow the science. Mars is warming. Do people cause that?

It's just one more phoney claim to give certain people "the right" to tell others that "you can't fly jets around, only I can", "you can't live in a nice home, only I can", and it goes on like that.

Do you really think Al Gore believes his private jets and his mansions are ruining the earth? Hypocrits galore in this "global warming" farce!

Maintain reputation among the "elite". Peer pressure. Lots of reasons that so-called scientists buy into lies, like man-made global warming, add to that evolution, add to that transgenderism, it just goes on and on.

At the end of the day, people want power over other people, and Satan wants to destroy mankind. That's what you are seeing.

As I understand the situation, it is not methane from cows, but CO2 emissions from burning fossil fuels that is the major threat.

The hottest it has ever been where I live, since records have been kept, occurred in 1936.

According to the new tax/spend bill in congress right now, they will be focusing on cow farts along with all the rest. It's about control.

Even "fossil fuels" is a misnomer when you are speaking of oil, it's not a fossil fuel. Many depleted oil fields have had their oil replenished by natural earth processes. Dinosaurs didn't become puddles of oil, decay doesn't work that way.

Compared to 1936, I’m living in a colder climate than did my ancestors.

To call this a mini ice age, or suggesting that people where I live are on the path to an ice age - “we only have ten years left!” - would be ludicrous.

Climate variation is one thing. Climate change another.
