ok i dont know of course, but i suggest that we are literally swimming in sin right now, i could point out ten “sins” that you are surely committing as we speak, and the same goes for me
We may well be swimming in the desire to sin. Where was Jesus on this in his own life as physical man tempted in all points like you and like me? What did Jesus overcome? What have we not yet overcome? Where is the power to overcome? Is anyone who does not overcome allowed to partake of the Tree of Life?

Yeah, I'm just really not comfortable with anything that would tend to give the impression that the Holy Spirit was limited in any dispensational-type mode of operation. I find the Spirit willing and active completely throughout Scripture, with extraordinary manifestations of power in all ages. I'm probably over-sensitive to the kind of boxes, perhaps even inadvertently, people seem to put God into. Again, not targeting anyone here, and I know this expression is a bit clichéd by now, but nevertheless... :D
.
.
Individuals put God in a box by their unbelief. Remember this?

"And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible." Mark 10:27

Do we believe God all of the time about everything? Do we ever still follow ourselves or other men instead of God?

“Father forgive them for they know not what they do..”

There is no more ignorance. WE KNOW WHAT WE DO!

“For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?” (Hebrews 10:26-29)

“For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.” (2 Peter 2:21)

Hmmm “Father forgive them for they know not what they do..”

I personally believe Jesus had all His prayers answered from the Father …

God the Son praying to God the Father has an amazing success rate.

Jesus our Advocate before the Father, making intercession for His own, the born again....is a comfort, is a blessing.

This verse you posted, again, and again, and again, is not written to the born again.
Its written to Christ rejecting Hebrews, and their willful sin is to reject their messiah, and when they did that, there is no more sacrifice for their sin, as they rejected it, willfully.

Paul deals with them again, at the END of Acts 28......same HEBREWS.........rejecting Christ willfully........same end result...they "crucified Christ afresh", and so, that is the unpardonable sin being committed WILLFULLY.

"... The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." James 5:16

Was Jesus a righteous man?

"I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them." John 17:9-10

To be sure, but what if the son found a comfortable, permanent home in the pig pen? Just asking. :)
.
.

maybe the answer is- he would then have a comfortable permanent pig pen type home in heaven .
Jesus told us to “lay up in heaven” …if that’s all he laid up, then maybe that’s what he’d get. ;)

God always wins. We are choosing now day by day , what and how things will be , God weighs the hearts …
He gets the last word .
We only “think” that we know and understand what He meant by what He has written.
Anyone who says that they absolutely know and understand fully what God has said, is deluded . In That Day and in That Hour , He will reveal all things …:)

praise God we are kept by the power of His blood!

blessings …H

It was written TO YOU!

And so was this one:

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” (Galatians 6:7-8)

God the Son praying to God the Father has an amazing success rate.

“Then said the LORD unto me, Pray not for this people for their good. When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and an oblation, I will not accept them: but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence. Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place. Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart. Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed. And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; and they shall have none to bury them, them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters: for I will pour their wickedness upon them.” (Jeremiah 14:11-16)

Hello. Please provide the scriptures where there were 7 covers spread over the holy of holies and mercy seat. Thank you.

haha! It will be good for you if you do a study on the tabernacle , it’s contents , and it’s structure. It’s all there..

God said to Moses - “Be sure that you build it according to the pattern shown you on the Mount. “

personally if we care to study everything , we can see that God has given a pattern to all He did and is doing in the types and shadows of the tabernacle . Everything has meaning. That is why He was so detailed .
If you seek, you will find the 7 skin coverings over the Holy of Holies …:)

blessings …H

Gee, I wonder what this “worse” thing is?

“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” (2 Timothy 3:13)

Would we really want to find out by personal experience?
