yes it was very friendly and people kept say 'Oh we've heard about you.' Seems they had been praying for me at the Wednesday bible study. It was lovely.Oh that looks like a great place to find fellowship. I like that it is international in flavour and that it is small. It means that it is easier to get to know members. I love that it has a diverse range of age groups. What's the preaching like?
Gordon Hall seems like a really nice man. He arranged for his wife to pick me up and another couple brought me home. They are starting Baptism classes as there are about five or six new people waiting to be Baptised. I sort of glad really that they go through classes to make sure they know what they are doing and why they are doing it.I'm just going to check out one of the sermons...listening to Gordon hall on the Jonah sermons. I like how he calls a spade a spade. You are definitely very blessed to find a great group of believers in Christ. Bless you and yours. Do you have a ride?

Right. I have read their Statement of Faith and find it perfectly biblical. It is puzzling that they would call themselves "Bethel Church" unless they were in existence long before the one which became notorious. In which case they should stick to their name.
Wow! A miracle for sure. I have heard stories like that from people I know.
I think if they were linked to the US Bethel church it would say so on their website.You could always ask if they're linked to the Bethel group that has the bad reputation.
That's the thing about churches with the same name, or nearly identical if one has a bad reputation .

I only went once and I liked it. There were no egos on show and the worship was simply a guitar and oldish songs I knew. And the people were lovely.
