As this post got buried in another thread, I will re-post in its own thread:

The Wisdom of the Wise will Vanish. Isaiah 29:14, 1 Corinthians 1:19-21
That this prophecy is true today, is proved by the almost total lack of understanding of God’s plans for our future by Christians and by the proliferation of theories, ideas and pure fiction about end times events. Also, as is prophesied in Isaiah 29:9, those who believe false teachings will become locked into them and be unable to discern or comprehend the truth of what will happen. 2 Thessalonians 2:11
The Lord says: I frustrate false prophets and make fools of diviners. I reverse what wise men say and make nonsense of their wisdom. Isaiah 44:25, Romans 1:22
Jesus says: I thank You Father for hiding these truths from the learned and wise and revealing them to the simple. Matthew 11:25-26, 1 John 4:4-5
Daniel is told: Keep these words secret and seal them up until the time of the end…only a few wise leaders will understand. Jeremiah 23:20

From the above Bible quotes, we see that there are two types of ‘wise’ people. Those who promote theories, ideas and doctrines that are not fully supported by scripture and those few who search all the prophesies and discern the truth of the end time events.
Here are some of the theories, ideas and fanciful notions that abound today:
1/ The Return of Jesus is the next event. This is totally refuted by 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4

2/ The wrath of God all happens at the Return. To move the Sixth Seal – stated to be the wrath of God and the Lamb, means shuffling the given sequence of Revelation. The Wrath of God, the Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath, His coming IN the clouds, Psalm 18:7-15, Hab. 3:4 is described quite differently and happens years before the Return ON the clouds. Matthew 24:30, Revelation 19:11

3/ The ‘rapture’. A removal of Christians to heaven before the Day of Wrath. Nowhere in the Bible is it stated that at any time, alive or dead, will any humans go to live in heaven.
John 3:13 and other Words of Jesus, say such a thing is impossible.
We are earth creatures and as believers in God and Jesus, we have work to do on earth, our destiny is to be ‘a light to the nations’. Isaiah 42:6

4/ The Jews are Gods chosen people. To say this not only abrogates the redemptive work of Jesus for all mankind, but also ignores God’s promises to the Patriarchs and His plan for all the Israelites, whom He watches and cares for. Jeremiah 16:17, Amos 9:9

5/ There will be a World War 3. Or an economic meltdown, or some other man caused problem will trigger the end time events. It is prophesied over 70 times that the Lord will send a judgement/punishment of fire to destroy His enemies. Matthew 3:12

6/ Preterism. The belief that all the prophesies are fulfilled or abrogated by Christ. They deny the historical facts, refute Nahum 1:2 and all the yet to be fulfilled prophesies. Psalm 110:5-6, Matthew 3:12, Revelation 1:1

7/ Revival must come first. Actually this is correct, but that revival will be instigated by the 144,000, Rev 14:1-7. They will go out from New Israel in pairs, as the precedent in Luke 10.
.
8/ The lack of teaching on the Prophetic Word. Preachers shy away from any mention of prophecy and judgement, so the people have no real knowledge of end time events.

9/ The need to avoid the ‘mark of the beast’. Revelation 13:16-17
But Revelation 7 tells us God’s servants are marked with ‘the seal of God’. God’s people, ‘from every tribe, nation and language’ are gathered in the holy Land, the new nation of Beulah. Isaiah 62:1-5

10/ Apathy. The sheer carelessness and laziness of not attempting or trying to understand what a large proportion of the Bible is informing us. Deut. 32:28-29, 2 Peter 1:19

For now, as we are in the Church age, Ezekiel 14:1-10 applies. This passage says if the Israelites, that is: the Lord’s people, ‘set their hearts on sinful things, then the Lord will give to them the beliefs they desire’.
So anyone who wishes to avoid God’s wrath by ‘going to heaven’, or want to think nothing much is yet to happen, then the Lord will allow them to believe it and that will make an understanding of the truth difficult for them. Jeremiah 6:10

2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
Heaven is God's home and believers will go to be with Him. PTL.

So you are brandishing all who disagree with you as unwise teachers, and only those who agree with you are "wise". Which cult are you trying to form????

3.there is a rapture and it will occur before the 70th week of Daniel commences. That is biblical. As I have repeatedly shown you.
4. to say the jews are not the covenanted people of god is to deny the teachings of Paul and most of the OT as I have showed you numerous times over many threads.
9. If you read your Bible you would find Beiulah is simply another name for Israel.

Isaiah 62:4
Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

See the jews will no longer be forsaken as an ethnic group and their land will no longer be called desolate but Beulah!

That is what the bible says.

So 6 1/2 out of ten for you isn't bad.

Have you understood all this?

After explaining to His disciples the parables of the Kingdom of Heaven, Jesus asked them; Have you understood all this? Matthew 13:51 and they answered – Yes.

It was a simple sounding question, but actually He was asking the most profound question of the ages.. Jesus was asking if they knew that, in Gods eyes there are two and only two – classes of people in the world: Those that accept God and His Laws:
wheat, buried treasure, pearls and good fish - and the children of Satan: tares, weeds and worthless fish.

Matthew 13:37-42... He replied: The sower of the good seed is the Son of Man.
The field is the world, the good seed stands for the children of the Kingdom and the weeds, the children of the evil one.
The enemy who sowed the weeds is the devil The harvest is the end of time and the reapers are angels.
As the weeds are gathered up and burnt at the end of the age, the Son of Man will rid His Kingdom of every cause of sin and all whose deeds are evil. These will be thrown into the blazing furnace, where there will be much wailing and sorrow.

Matthew 13:43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the Kingdom of their Father If you have ears, then hear.

Just a speculation – but Jesus gave four parables about who will and who will not inherit the Kingdom;

1/ The wheat and the weeds – Messianic Jews and apostate Jews, the House of Judah.

2/ The buried treasure – The born again Christians who are also the House of Israel.

3/ A pearl of great value – A person who dedicates their life to the Lord.

4/ The good and the worthless fish – Gentile peoples, believers and unbelievers.

“There are two kinds of people – those who say to God: Thy will be done, and those to whom God says “all right, then, have it your way” C.S. Lewis

YOur writing made it clear. You said most are brandishing opinions and you have the truth down.

God is going to make a new covenant with Israel as is said in Jeremiah 31. Gentiles did not break covenant with god in the desert- Jews did!

Don't worry even scoffers and mockers like you, if the rapture happens in our lifetime, will be caught up with the b
.elievers.

As for Beulah- to me this is a non issue. but what makes it a big issue is you rewriting Scripture and reinterpreting the simple, clear and unambiguous word of God to suit your semi-covenant, anti-semitic agenda.

Isaiah 62
King James Version

62 For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.

3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

5 For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.

A first grader if they knew about Israel would know this refers to the nation of Israel and the people of Israel. NObody reading this in a rational way would ever come up with the church which is jews and Gentiles! You have reinterpreted god's word.

chrisxtians have never been termed "forsaken". We never had a covenanted land called "desolate".

Israel's land is Israel. It was and is called desolate but will be called Beulah.

Your reinterpretation has no merit nor basis in Scripture.

2 Peter 1:19-21
King James Version

19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

2 Peter 3:16
As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

You need to be careful Kerasz, you are treading on dangerous ground.

My 'interpretation' actually what the Bible says; is opposed to your beliefs.

My 'interpretation' actually what the Bible says; is opposed to your beliefs.

YOu have never even come close to proving that.

Just your mythical new land called Beulah. You did not get that from teh bible. For as I posted the verse, Israels land has alway8s been Israel and god said the land of Israel will no more be called desolate but Beulah! So that is a lie against the truth!

I have a clear conscience. Opposing errors like the rapture', is my task. You are the one in danger!

YOu think believing in a rapture is dangerous? WOW ! Paul said to comfort people with those words- you say8 it is dangerous to think god will spare His children the judgments He will pour down to punish unbelievers and prepare Israel as a nation to receive Her Messiah!

Sorry8 but reinterpreting the Scriptures is not having beliefs that the Bible actually says.

Isaiah 62:4
Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

This is what the bible actually says:

1. Jews will no more be called forsaken but Hephzibah!
2. The land will no longer be called desolate- but Beulah!

Hezphibah=
  1. Hephzi-bah = "my delight is in her"

    1. the queen of King Hezekiah and mother of Manasseh

    2. a name for Jesusalem (fig.)
We know the other two do not apply to a people.

Beulah + ba'al
  1. to marry, rule over, possess, own

    1. (Qal)
      1. to marry, be lord (husband) over

      2. to rule over
    2. (Niphal) to be married
It is in the Qal so it means to rule over as this is a thing and not a wife.

See what a little honest studfy can teach you!

Beulah is not a new nation. You are intentionally deceiving people here.

Believing in a 'rapture to heaven' is dangerous, because it makes people complacent and unaware of forthcoming trials and testing's of our faith.
A rapture removal from the earth is not Biblical, it is a Satanic lie.

Itr is found in Thesselonians and it is technically the great snatching away! Believers will always be complacent in whatever numbers. We if we live godly always face trials and testing of our faith! It doesan't take the 0th week of Daniel for these to happen. Read Foxes book of Martyrs volume 2 to read about teh thousand of believers in teh 20th century tortured and murdered for the faith.

I have heard that lame argument from those who believe the lie you can lose your salvation as well! they say it will cause people to keep sinning because they know they cannot lose their salvation. To you and them I keep saying hogwash. Both are lies and if one studies to show themselves approved would find out this argument has not relavence in a believers life!

I noticed you still haven't commented on the fact of your false new nation called Beulah which is nothing more than the land of Israel according to teh Scriptures.

From the above Bible quotes, we see that there are two types of ‘wise’ people. Those who promote theories, ideas and doctrines that are not fully supported by scripture and those few who search all the prophesies and discern the truth of the end time events.
You have added that part.

6/ Preterism. The belief that all the prophesies are fulfilled or abrogated by Christ. They deny the historical facts, refute Nahum 1:2 and all the yet to be fulfilled prophesies. Psalm 110:5-6, Matthew 3:12, Revelation 1:1
You are categorically lumping any idea that Christ was true in saying "It is finished" into the false beliefs of the Preterists. Which is against what Jesus said of ""all these things will come upon this generation", and the "—things which must shortly take place"...which you even quoted, but herein deny.

Again, you add in your own words and agenda regarding heaven and what yet remains-- and indeed, He has allowed you to believe it.

Mark 4:24b
With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given.

1 Thessalonians 4:17 tells of a gathering to where Jesus will be, that is: in Jerusalem.
Heaven is the place that Jesus comes from, NEVER the place where we go to.

The Land of Beulah

Isaiah 62:1-2a For Zion’s sake, I shall not keep silent – until her victory shines forth, like the sunrise, her victory like a blazing torch. The nations will see your victory and their rulers your glory.

Isaiah prophesies for the sake of Zion; the holy Land. There will be a great victory, ‘like a blazing torch’ - a CME sunstrike over the attacking enemies. Isaiah 30:25-30 & 66:15-16, Psalms 11:4-6 The world will see it and be amazed. Jeremiah 33:6-16

Isaiah 62:2b-5 You will receive a new name, the Lord Himself will give it. You will be like a glorious crown in His hand. No more are you forsaken and your Land desolate. You will be called ‘Hephzibah’ and the Land, ‘Beulah’. For the Lord will delight in you and it will be like a marriage: He will rejoice over you as a bridegroom over his bride. ‘Hephzibah’ = My delight is in her. ‘Beulah’ = married. Isaiah 49:18

The Lord’s people, all the Christian Israelites of God, will be gathered and settled into their heritage, all of the holy Land, in the new nation of Beulah. Wonderful promises to them of fertility and wealth. They will live in justice, peace and security, as He intended people to be.

Isaiah 62:6-7 Jerusalem, on your walls, I have posted watchmen, they will call out: You that invoke the Name of the Lord, do not rest and give no rest to the Lord until He makes Jerusalem a praise throughout the world.

The Hebrew word for ‘watchmen’, is ‘natzar’, the root word for Nazarene; literally all Christian believers. WE must not rest or let the Lord forget His people and His Land. Keep praying for our redemption and restoration. Ezekiel 36:24-28, Isaiah 52:7-9

Isaiah 62:8-9 The Lord has sworn to never again allow foreigners to take the produce of the Land, but you who give praises to Him will eat the grain and drink the wine, within My sacred courts.

After the great clearance in the Middle East, only His righteous people will be allowed to live there, those who love the Lord and obey Him. Isaiah 66:20-21, Ezekiel 20:38

Isaiah 62:10-11 Pass through the gates – clear a road for My people. Build a highway, remove the rocks and make a signal to guide the people. Proclaim to the ends of the earth, say to the offspring of Zion: See your deliverance comes, His reward is with Him and He will make recompense.

The great gathering of the Lord’s people – the second Exodus, will happen in the same manner as the first Exodus. Leaders [shepherds] will arise to guide the flock, in the spirit of Moses and Elijah. Jeremiah 3:14-15, Isaiah 58:11, Isaiah 43:5-7, Micah 4:6, Isaiah 49:9-13, Isaiah 51:3, Zechariah 8:11-12, Isaiah 40:1-5, Ezekiel 11:17

Isaiah 62:12 They will be called ‘The Holy people, the Redeemed of God’ and Jerusalem will be called ‘sought after, the City no longer forsaken’.

The Lord’s faithful Christian people: living in the Holy Land of Beulah, as He created them to live, being a ‘light to the nations’ and witnesses to His salvation. They will be divided into 12 groups, named after the original sons of Jacob. Jesus will appear to them, 1 Thess 1:10 and 12,000 missionaries will be selected from them, Revelation 14:1-7, to go to every people group on earth, to preach the good news of the coming Kingdom of Jesus. Isaiah 66:19, 1 Peter 2:9-10, Acts 2:39, Jeremiah 31:23-34

Joel 2:23-27 People of Zion, rejoice – your God will recompense you for the years that others have ravaged your Land. You will again have plenty in your own Land. Then you will know that I am present in Israel and that I and no other am your God. We will know the Lord is present by His deeds. Just as it was at the Exodus. Must be before the Return of Jesus for His Millennial reign.

A false accusation.
Jesus said it is finished, referring to His earthly Ministry. Obviously much more did take place and is still ongoing.
Which is against what Jesus said of ""all these things will come upon this generation", and the "—things which must shortly take place"...which you even quoted, but herein deny.
Plainly, obviously; All these things that Jesus prophesied; DIDN'T take place in the first Century.
Again, you add in your own words and agenda regarding heaven and what yet remains-- and indeed, He has allowed you to believe it.
Further false accusations.
Isaiah 29:9-12 tells us how people will become locked into their false beliefs and 2 Timothy 4:3-4 also proves it. And you are an example of it.

This is but your confirmation of the same unbelief that has caused the factual and biblical foretelling of "strong delusion" for believing the "lie" that "—things which must shortly take place" was and is NOT true, as Jesus said they would.

I tell you, as did Jesus, they have taken place.

Look in the mirror.

You are so used to rejecting the fact that God still has a plan for Israel as a nation and land you cannot see simple passages and accept them. YOu have to retrnslate just like the Watchtower and Mormons and Koresh and Jones, to promote your ideas. This is sad.

Why should I take you at your word when you refuse to take God at His Word.

I tell you, as did Jesus, they have taken place.
I know that what Jesus Prophesied, other that the Temple destroyed; has not yet taken place.
Your preterist beliefs are wrong. And the scary thing is - WE are that generation who will see it all!

Yes; God does have a Plan for apostate Jewish Israel - He intends to wipe them out. Isaiah 22:14
Only a small remnant will survive, Romans 9:27

You can stop calling me Preterist--that is not at all what I have been talking about.

But you are wrong.

You apparently believe that the Temple was destroyed, why then do you not believe all of the"—things which must shortly take place" actually did also?

I would ask you to name one thing that has not yet taken place...but I believe I already have, and yet you were as you said, "locked into" your beliefs. But I am happy to take it up again.

Whatever.

In the Olivet Discourse, all except the total destruction of the second Temple, remains to be fulfilled. Some have been partially or are ongoing.
1/ The Kingdom is not yet proclaimed everywhere.
2/ The Abomination in the temple did not happen in 70 AD. As described in 2 Thess 2:4
3/ The time of great distress, like never before, awaits the Great Trib.
4/ Jesus has not returned yet.
5/ The terrible Day; like as it was in Noah's time, has not happened yet.
