What did Ezekiel see when he described his visions from God? Are there vehicles used by God and the angels for transportation through the heavens? There is scripture in several places of the bible that describe such beings, vehicles, whirlwind experiences, or chariots of fire. (Such as Elijah being taken up by a whirlwind to the heavens in II Kings 2). Enoch is another one in the Bible taken up to heaven while he is alive, as the Bible says "Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him" (Genesis 5:24; see also Heb. 11:5). The Greek translation in Hebrews 11:5 is transported him. But to get a more detailed description of these beings or vehicles, let's go to the book of Ezekiel 1:4 and find out exactly what he had seen in one particular vision. 4And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire. It appeared as a great storm coming toward him from the north and before it what appeared like a huge cloud glowing with fire, with a mass of fire within the fire that flashed continually; and in the fire was something that shone like highly polished brass. (A cloud appearing as vapor clouds like the cooling preliminary to firing of rocket engine). 5Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man. Four strange forms appeared from the center that looked like men. 6And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings. Each had four faces and two pairs of wings. (Possibly rotor blades of the landing engines). 7And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass. The legs that came down from the center were like legs of men, but their feet were like calves feet and shone like polished brass. (This could be a description of the landing legs or landing gear). 8And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings. It appeared as human hands beneath each wing. (Possible parts of the remote control mechanism of the landing gear). 9Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward. The four living beings were joined wing to wing, and they flew straight forward without turning. (They protruded straight out). 10As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle. (Possible shapes of the fairings or coverings of the landing gear mechanism that would resemble these described figures). 11Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies. (The folding upward appearance or retraction of the landing gear). 12And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went. (The landing gear being attached and retracted gave the appearance of following the living creatures or vehicle). 13As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning. Torch like bright coals of fire went up and down among them and appeared like lightning. (Controlled bursts from the various control rockets for stabilization purposes could of produced this affect). 14And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning. The living being darted to and fro, swift as lightning. (As a spacecraft hovers and moves in various directions until a suitable landing site is found). 15Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces. There were wheels that touched the earth below each of them. As they moved there wings roared like waves against the shore, or like the voice of God. (Perhaps the sound from the engines or rotors). 25And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings. Every time they stopped, there came a voice from the crystal sky. (Perhaps the sound of the vehicle in it's hovering stage). 26And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it. High above main body of the craft sat what looked like a throne made of beautiful blue sapphire stones, and upon it sat someone who appeared to be a man. (The prophet Ezekiel sees what could be the command module with the pilot seated within). 27And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about. He appeared to be glowing from the waist up and from the waist down seemed to be entirely flame. 28As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. Was this a vision of a spacecraft used by God and His messengers? Our Heavenly Father does work in mysterious ways and is the Father of the whole universe. There could very well be other life out there trying to make contact with us, but our God is still in control. How He chooses to travel and make contact with His children is still a mystery to us and we can only continue to search the scriptures for the answers. I think by today's standards, this would have been considered a UFO. Whatever the thing was, I bet that could have gotten my wife and I down to Williamsburg VA from Easton Pa a lot faster than it took us by car which was 7 hours!

Spirits don't need vehicles in order to get anywhere, for one God is everywhere and vehicles/any form of technology is a crutch,(mankind is still in bondage to the laws of physics/nature, including Christians) which man need to do what he wants to do at a faster and more cost effective way. These were simply vision(s) put in a way for us to understand. When Christians have been given a glorified body, we will not be subjected to any physical laws of nature. So therefore we will not be in any need of cars, planes, boats, computers ect. We will be unbound or liberated as the scripture says from our bondage...able to travle to any planet without the aid of technology.

Increase, forever will mean that after the kingdoms have filled the earth, it will have to expand to include all the planets....which God has created for a purpose.In the kingdom of God, when the saints are in glory, it does not matter how faraway we are physically we may be, God/Jesus will always be with us, because He will be in us and we will be in Him.

Can you provide a couple of bible verses explaining this. I have never read about the kingdom expanding.

Please read what I say very carefully, I did not say that we will live on other planets.....what I said was that the kingdom of God will expand to include other planets. Our home will be this earth....the Bible even says that God, yes, even God the Father will come and dwell with us on the earth. What I am suggesting is that since the kingdom of God will never stop increasing, and that the earth as far as size is concern will remain the same,(no where do the Bible says the earth will expand forever) it means that all the planets and Galaxies in the universe will come under the kingdom of God. This also means that life forms will be created on these planets. God made us to rule over all things...it also said we will be like Jesus as He now is. Jesus was the one mentioned in John 1 as the one who created all things. So since we will be like Jesus, this also means that we will do what Jesus has been doing since creation. We will travel through out the universe creating, sustaining and expanding God's kingdom forever.....our job her on this earth have only just begun. So while some of us are thinking about going to heaven when Jesus returns, and doing nothing (I have never heard anyone explaining what they will do in heaven, except sing and bow before God) He is preparing us for things beyond our wildest dreams. The scriptures say we will be kings and priest. Question: who is a king and what is a priest? One cannot be a king if he does not have subjects to rule over, and one cannot be a priest if he has no one to come to him to show them how to worship God. As I said our job will be to expand the kingdom of God, with Jesus as our leader….He will lead the way and we will do whatever we see Him do. …all things will be possible for us, as it is with Jesus.

Ezekiel was being commissioned (called) by God for great service. He was to take God message back to the people of Israel. Ezekiel 2:3-4 (KJV)3 And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation, that hath rebelled against me; they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.4 For they are imprudent children and stiffhearted.
