Why do people assume this is a test of God (James 1:13-14)? Why do people assume God left them so imprepared? Who said Adam and Eve were like children? No one knows exactly what state they were formed in; what their maturity and intellegience levels were. No one knows how much time they had spent in their life with God before the act of their fall. And since when is freewill a license to do whatever comes to our mind? Having the ability to do something does not automatically grant the right to do it! Just take a look at God's ten commandments which highlight the focus of the law: Adultury, theft, murder, lying, idolatry. Are these things permissable by anyone with the ability and notion?Death is not what God seeks for anyone (2 Pet 3:9); but sin will not go unpunished (Eze 18, Rom 6:23, James 1:15, Deut 19:21). Man cannot have it both ways: take me as I am including my sins; and avenge me for the wrongs others do to me (Mal 2:17). God acts in judgment for the sake of the afflicted, acting as champion for them (Isa 59:15-21, Isa 14:4-27, Psalm 22:24, 9:15-20, Matt 25:40, Exo 22:22-24) against any that should sin (Eze 18:25,29).It is interesting to note, that people find what they believe are imperfections in God and use these as reasons not have a relationship with Him, yet condemn God for His disapproval of the blemishes and contradictions He sees in us. As if God were requiring us to be as perfect before Him as He must show Himself to be before us in order to maintain a relationship with Him. And this would be a dire situation except that the perfection of the LORD is so overwhelming it can cover our imperfections before Him.

Again your question is wrong. They did not die for knowing good and evil. That is not the original sin.The original sin you cover everyday with clothing and continue to be ashamed of what God himself created. That is the original sin. They were ashamed of their bodies. Bodies that were created in the image of God. They were ashamed of God.They were the original creations not procreations as we are today. Therefore their shame of God's image was more than enough to bring death upon them.God bless
You are on the right track but that is not the original sinhttp://www.christianityboard.com/true-sin-...study-t509.html
