3. The order Yahweh gave to Adam and made a covenant with AdamGe 2:15 Yahweh God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And Yahweh God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."(1) Why did the serpent deceive Eve only?1Ti 2:13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.Eve was the residue of the Spirit.Mal 2:15 And did he not make one, although he had the residue of the Spirit? And why one? He sought a godly seed. The Spirit of God lived in Adam:Ge 2:7 Yahweh God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.Eve was the residue of the Spirit, and so was deceived by the serpent.(2) To disobey the covenant is cursedHos 6:7 But they like Adam have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me. Ge 3:17 To Adam he said, "Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, `You must not eat of it,' "Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. 18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. 19 By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return."Hos 8:1 set the trumpet to your mouth. As an eagle against the house of Yahweh, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law. 2 They shall cry to me, My God, we Israel know you. 3 Israel has cast off that which is good: the enemy shall pursue him. Jer 11:1 This is the word that came to Jeremiah from Yahweh: 2 "Listen to the terms of this covenant and tell them to the people of Judah and to those who live in Jerusalem. 3 Tell them that this is what Yahweh, the God of Israel, says: `Cursed is the man who does not obey the terms of this covenant—4 the terms I commanded your forefathers when I brought them out of Egypt, out of the iron-smelting furnace.' I said, `Obey me and do everything I command you, and you will be my people, and I will be your God. 5 Then I will fulfill the oath I swore to your forefathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey'--the land you possess today." I answered, "Amen, Yahweh."La 2:8 Yahweh determined to tear down the wall around the Daughter of Zion. He stretched out a measuring line and did not withhold his hand from destroying. He made ramparts and walls lament; together they wasted away. 9 Her gates have sunk into the ground; their bars he has broken and destroyed. Her king and her princes are exiled among the nations, the law is no more, and her prophets no longer find visions from Yahweh. 10 The elders of the Daughter of Zion sit on the ground in silence; they have sprinkled dust on their heads and put on sackcloth. The virgins of Jerusalem have bowed their heads to the ground.Eze 17:19 "`Therefore this is what the Sovereign Yahweh says: As surely as I live, I will bring down on his head my oath that he despised and my covenant that he broke. 20 I will spread my net for him, and he will be caught in my snare. I will bring him to Babylon and execute judgment upon him there because he has trespassed against me. 21 All his fleeing troops will fall by the sword, and the survivors will be scattered to the winds. Then you will know that I Yahweh have spoken.

4. Sin is lawlessness, and the wages of sin is deathRo 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.Ro 5:12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned—13 for before the law was given, sin was in the world. But sin is not taken into account when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those whose sins weren't like Adam's disobedience, who is a foreshadowing of him who was to come. 15 But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many! 16 Again, the gift of God is not like the result of the one man's sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification. 17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ. 18 Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men. 19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.2Ch 6:36 "When they sin against you--for there is no one who does not sin--and you become angry with them and give them over to the enemy, who takes them captive to a land far away or near; 37 and if they have a change of heart in the land where they are held captive, and repent and plead with you in the land of their captivity and say, `We have sinned, we have done wrong perversely and acted wickedly'; 38 and if they turn back to you with all their heart and soul in the land of their captivity where they were taken, and pray toward the land you gave their fathers, toward the city you have chosen and toward the temple I have built for your Name; 39 then from heaven, your dwelling place, hear their prayer and their pleas, and uphold their cause. And forgive your people, who have sinned against you.1Ki 8:46 "When they sin against you--for there is no one who does not sin--and you become angry with them and give them over to the enemy, who takes them captive to his own land, far away or near; 47 and if they have a change of heart in the land where they are held captive, and repent and plead with you in the land of their conquerors and say, `We have sinned, we have done wrong perversely, we have acted wickedly'; 48 and if they turn back to you with all their heart and soul in the land of their enemies who took them captive, and pray to you toward the land you gave their fathers, toward the city you have chosen and the temple I have built for your Name; 49 then from heaven, your dwelling place, hear their prayer and their plea, and uphold their cause. 50 And forgive your people, who have sinned against you; forgive all the offenses they have committed against you, and cause their conquerors to show them mercy;Ro 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,Mt 12:36 I tell you that every idle word that men speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. 37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."Ge 8:21 Yahweh smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: "Never again will I curse the ground because of man, even though every inclination of his heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done. 22 "As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease."

5. Ask the Lord for his mercy and forgiveness of sinsDa 9:4 I prayed to Yahweh my God and confessed: "O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with all who love him and obey his commands, 5 we have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws. 6 We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. 7 "Lord, you are righteous, but this day we are covered with shame--the men of Judah and people of Jerusalem and all Israel, both near and far, in all the countries where you have scattered us because of our unfaithfulness to you. 8 O LORD, we and our kings, our princes and our fathers are covered with shame because we have sinned against you. 9 The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him; 10 we have not obeyed Yahweh our God or kept the laws he gave us through his servants the prophets. 11 All Israel has transgressed your law and turned away, refusing to obey you. "Therefore the curses and sworn judgments written in the Law of Moses, the servant of God, have been poured out on us, because we have sinned against you. 12 You have fulfilled the words spoken against us and against our rulers by bringing upon us great disaster. Under the whole heaven nothing has ever been done like what has been done to Jerusalem. 13 Just as it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come upon us, yet we have not sought the favor of Yahweh our God by turning from our sins and giving attention to your truth. 14 Therefore has Yahweh watched over the evil, and brought it on us; for Yahweh our God is righteous in all his works which he does, and we have not obeyed his voice. 15 Now, Lord our God, who has brought your people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and have gotten you renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly. 16 O Lord, in keeping with all your righteous acts, turn away your anger and your wrath from Jerusalem, your city, your holy hill. Our sins and the iniquities of our fathers have made Jerusalem and your people an object of scorn to all those around us. 17 Now therefore, our God, listen to the prayer of your servant, and to his petitions, and cause your face to shine on your sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake. 18 Give ear, O God, and hear; open your eyes and see the desolation of the city that bears your Name. We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy. 19 O Lord, listen! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, hear and act! For your sake, O my God, do not delay, because your city and your people bear your Name."1Jn 3:5 But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. 6 No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him. 7 Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. 8 He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work. 9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. 10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother. The word of God is the Son of God, see:Heb 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds have been framed by the word of God, so that what is seen hath not been made out of things which appear.Heb 1:1 In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. 3 The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. The word of God is in the mouth, to cleanse the sins of men. See:Ac 15:7 After much discussion, Peter got up and addressed them: "Brothers, you know that some time ago God made a choice among you that the Gentiles might hear from my lips the message of the gospel and believe. 8 God, who knows the heart, testified about them, giving them the Holy Spirit, just like he did to us.Ac 10:34 Then Peter began to speak: "I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism.”Ac 10:42 He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one whom God appointed as judge of the living and the dead. 43 All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name."Ac 13:38 "Therefore, my brothers, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. 39 Through him everyone who believes is justified from everything you could not be justified from by the law of Moses. 40 Take care that what the prophets have said does not happen to you: 41 Behold, you despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye will in no wise believe, though a man declare it to you.

1.When Adam was made from dust, he did not have a selfish heart (that is, he did not speak on his own), the spirit of God showed him what to do and moved him what to speak Ge 2:15 Yahweh God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And Yahweh God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."Note: We know three points from here:1) The Spirit of God commanded him to work and take care of it;2) Gave him the freedom to eat freely;3) Gave him an order. Why did Yahweh God give Adam an order? Because the breath of the Almighty gives men understanding:Job 32:8 But it is the spirit in a man, the breath of the Almighty, that gives him understanding. 9 It is not the great that are wise, Nor the aged that understand justice.Yahweh is a God of justice:Isa 30:18 Therefore Yahweh waits to be gracious to you; therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For Yahweh is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him.

2. Eve was deceived by the serpent1Ti 2:13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.Mal 2:15 And did he not make one, although he had the residue of the Spirit? And wherefore one? He sought a godly seed. Eve was the residue of the Spirit, without Christ abiding in the heart.2Co 13:3 Since you seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, (who is not weak towards you, but is powerful among you, 4 For to be sure, he was crucified in weakness, yet he lives by God's power. Likewise, we are weak in him, yet by God's power we will live with him to serve you. 5 Test your own selves, whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves. Or don't you know as to your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you? Unless indeed you are reprobate. 6 But I hope that you will know that we aren't reprobate.Eve was deceived by the serpent.Ge 3:1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals Yahweh God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, `You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?" 2 The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, `You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.'" 4 "You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman. 5 "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." 6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.Note: The deceit with which the serpent seduced Adam and Eve:1) Made mischief the intimate relationship of Adam and Eve with God.2) Seduced Eve to bear a mind of doubts about the word of God, resulting in the violation of Yahweh’s command.3) The serpent seduced Adam and Eve to exalt themselves before God, to be equal with God.4) The serpent seduced Adam and Eve to eat fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden, and could make men have human wisdom, and know themselves, namely selfishness. What is the tree in the middle of the garden that was good for foodDa 4:10 These are the visions I saw while lying in my bed: I looked, and there before me stood a tree in the middle of the land. Its height was enormous. 11 The tree grew large and strong and its top touched the sky; it was visible to the ends of the earth. 12 Its leaves were beautiful, its fruit abundant, and on it was food for all. Under it the beasts of the field found shelter, and the birds of the air lived in its branches; from it every creature was fed. There is a tree in the middle of the land that is visible to the ends of the earth and is food to all flesh, what does this mean?Da 4:22 you, O king, are that tree! You have become great and strong; your greatness has grown until it reaches the sky, and your dominion extends to distant parts of the earth. 23 "You, O king, saw a messenger, a holy one, coming down from heaven and saying, `Cut down the tree and destroy it, but leave the stump, bound with iron and bronze, in the grass of the field, while its roots remain in the ground. Let him be drenched with the dew of heaven; let him live like the wild animals, until seven times pass by for him.'The tree is King Nebuchadnezzar, the tree was cut down and destroyed, but its stump and its roots remain in the ground, bound with iron and bronze, this is the language and literature of the Chaldeans (Da 1:4) and the philosophy Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon used to administrate the state. Nebuchadnezzar was cut down and destroyed, but the language and literature he used were inherited. Visible to the ends of the earth means that the language and literature Nebuchadnezzar used of the day, and from this tree all flesh is fed, that is, all use the language and literature philosophy.Eze 12:13 I will spread my net for him, and he will be caught in my snare; I will bring him to Babylonia, the land of the Chaldeans, but he will not see it, and there he will die. There he will die, but he will not see the doctrines of men.Col 2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ. Now to use the philosophy, not to depend on Christ, but on human tradition and the basic principles of this world, is the human wisdom, and can know selfishness. What is made according to their own understanding, like chaff on a threshing floor:Hos 13:1 When Ephraim spoke, men trembled; he was exalted in Israel. But he became guilty of Baal worship and died. 2 Now they sin more and more; they make idols for themselves from their silver, according to their own understanding, all of them the work of craftsmen. It is said of these people, "They offer human sacrifice and kiss the calf-idols." 3 Therefore they will be like the morning mist, like the early dew that disappears, like chaff swirling from a threshing floor, like smoke escaping through a window.

3. Adam and Eve, having had selfish hearts, concealed their sin and hid their guilt in their heartsJob 31:33 if I have concealed my sin as men (or Adam) do, by hiding my guilt in my heart.(1)Ge 3:7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.Everyone sewed coverings for themselves by their own wisdom, starting to speak their own words for themselves and uttering their own doctrines, to cover themselves. See Ge 3:8-13)(2)Ge 3:8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of Yahweh God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden. The cool of the day:SS 2:17 Until the day be cool, and the shadows flee away, Turn, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether. The day be cool, and the shadows flee away:ps 84:11 For Yahweh God is a sun and shield; Yahweh bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.Yahweh is a sun.Having had one’s own words, and the word of God flees away, this is: the day be cool, and the shadows flee away.(3)Ge 3:9 But Yahweh God called to the man, "Where are you?" 10 He answered, "I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid."Having had one’s own words, and hearing the voice of God, hide from Yahweh, afraid.(4)Ge 3:11 And he said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?" 12 The man said, "The woman you put here with me--she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it."Adam shifted his sin to woman, to God.(5)Ge 3:13 Then Yahweh God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?" The woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate."Woman shifted her sin to the serpent, to God.

4. Adam and Eve were seduced by the serpent and became selfish, then the selfishness of men is under the power of Satan Ge 3:14 So Yahweh God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, "Cursed are you above all the livestock and all the wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life.Man was made from dust.1Jn 5:18 We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him. 19 We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.1Jn 2:15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For everything in the world--the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does--comes not from the Father but from the world.Ro 5:14 Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come.Isa 29:4 Brought low, you will speak from the ground; your speech will mumble out of the dust. Your voice will come ghostlike from the earth; out of the dust your speech will whisper.Mt 16:21 From that time on Jesus began to explain show to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. 22 Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. "Never, Lord!" he said. "This shall never happen to you!" 23 Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men."The things of men are under the power Satan.Eph 2:1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath.Eph 6:12 For our struggle (wrestling) is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.Gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts, is wrestling against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.Ac 5:1 Now a man named Ananias, together with his wife Sapphira, also sold a piece of property. 2 With his wife's full knowledge he kept back part of the money for himself, but brought the rest and put it at the apostles' feet. 3 Then Peter said, "Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land? 4 Didn't it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn't the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied to men but to God."Ananias lied, deceived the Holy Spirit and was filled with Satan in his heart, Satan lied from the beginning, see:Jn 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

More clear now, thank you!
medicalmatt, If you notice in scripture, there is a Book of Life that God Himself has, Ex 32:32,33, Mal 3:16, Rev 3:5. The Book of Life of the Lamb is a different Book, Rev 21:27. In this Book of the Lamb are recorded the names of the ones who will be resurrected IMMORTAL, to be Kings and Priests with Jesus, for the Thousand Year Judgement Day, 1Con 15:53,54, Rev 20:4-6, 5:9,10, 14:1-5. The exact number of these is mentioned at Rev 7:4 and Rev 14:1,3. We know this number is different that the regular resurrection, because this number is contrasted with a great crowd, which no man can number, many of which come OUT of the Great Tribulation, Rev 7:4,9,14. These will make up the ones mentioned at Ps 37:29, who will live forever on earth. The Little Flock mentioned by Jesus will be resurrectred as spirit, NEW CREATIONS, IMMORTAL, to be Kings and Priests for the Thousand years, Luke 12:32, 1Cor 15:53,54, 2Cor 5:16,17, Gal 6:15, Rev 20:4-6, John 3:5-8. These have been ADOPTED as sons of God, and are in the HOUSEHOLD of God, Eph 2:19, 1Tim 3:15, Rom 8:14-17,23, Eph 1:5. These are also spoken of as ANOINTED, as Jesus was, Acts 4:26,27, 2Cor 1:21,22, 1John 2:20,26,27.

5. How can we remove our selfish hearts?1Jn 3:5 But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work.To appear is to speak the words of God in revelation, see:2Co 12:1 I must go on boasting. Although there is nothing to be gained, I will go on to visions and revelations from the Lord.Speak the words of God with your mouth, and your own words and thoughts are abolished.Eze 11:17 "Therefore say: `This is what the Sovereign Yahweh says: I will gather you from the nations and bring you back from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you back the land of Israel again.' 18 "They will return to it and remove all its vile images and detestable idols. 19 I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. 20 Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people, and I will be their God.Ro 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold under sin.The law is spiritual, a new spirit is put in heart to remove the heart of stone, so as to be the people of God.Zec 7:12 They made their hearts as hard as flint and would not listen to the law or to the words that the Yahweh Almighty had sent by his Spirit through the earlier prophets. So the Yahweh Almighty was very angry.Eze 36:24 "`For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land. 25 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. 28 You will live in the land I gave your forefathers; you will be my people, and I will be your God.Heb 10:9 Then he said, "Here I am, I have come to do your will." He sets aside the first to establish the second. 10 And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.Jesus is the Son of God, the word of God. Speak the word of God moved by the Holy Spirit, one’s own mind, word and will be set aside; The word Paul speaks is the Word of God, writes the Spirit of the living God onto the tables of hearts, and turns men from the power of Satan to God.Ac 13:44 On the next Sabbath almost the whole city gathered to hear the Word of God. 45 When the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and talked abusively against what Paul was saying. 46 And Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, saying, "It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken first to you. Since you thrust it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles. 47 For this is what the Lord has commanded us: "`I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.' " 48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and glorified the word of God; and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.2Co 3:3 You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. 4 Such confidence as this is ours through Christ before God. 5 Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God.Ac 26:15 "Then I asked, `Who are you, Lord?' "`I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,' the Lord replied. 16 `Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen of me and what I will show you. 17 I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. 18 I am sending you to them to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.'

6. Speak the Word of God, remove selfish hearts and reach a harmonious living Ac 2:36 "Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ." 37 When the people heard this, they were cut to pricked in the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?" 38 Peter replied, "Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off--for all whom the Lord our God will call." 40 And he testified with many other words and exhorted them, saying, "Save yourselves from this crooked generation." 41 Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. 42 They devoted themselves to continued steadfastly in the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. 46 And day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. This Jesus God has made him Lord, namely the Word of God our Saviour, see:Tit 2:10 not purloining, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.Rev 19:11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. 12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule (shepherd) them with an iron scepter." He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.Peter spoke the words of God in the possession of the Holy Spirit, namely the Word of God. When people heard this, they were prickled in hearts. Whoever has received the Word of God had his selfish heart removed and shared everything, and give to anyone as he has need.Ac 4:31 After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. 32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had. 33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all. 34 There were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35 and put it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to anyone as he had need. Many believers of the word of God, their selfish hearts removed, no one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but shared everything with all, and gave to anyone as he had needed.

1. The first murdererGe 4:1 Adam lay with his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She said, "With the help of Yahweh I have brought forth a man." 2 Later she gave birth to his brother Abel. Now Abel kept flocks, and Cain worked the soil.Adam lay with his wife, and his wife gave birth to two sons, Abel kept flocks, and Cain worked the soil.Ge 4:4 But Abel brought fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. Yahweh looked with favor on Abel and his offering, 5 but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell. 6 Then Yahweh said to Cain, "Why are you angry? Why is your countenance fallen? 7 If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it."Yahweh looked with favor on Abel’s offering, but not Cain and Cain’s offering. The offering of Abel is the firstborn of his flock.Jn 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!Jesus was the Lamb of God, that is, the word Abel spoke was the word of God. The offering of Cain was the fruits of the soil, namely from his selfish heart, one’s own words and language, see:Isa 29:4 Brought low, you will speak from the ground; your speech will mumble out of the dust. Your voice will come ghostlike from the earth; out of the dust your speech will whisper.Yahweh said to Cain: If you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door:1Jn 3:4 Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. So, what Cain said was the word of his own, the language of his own, came from the devil and would not be looked with favor by Yahweh.

tomwebster,Yahweh GOD has opened the whole Bible, for the time is near (Rev22:10)! The open scroll is all scriptures: a little here and a little there, the message of the Bible is explained (Isa28:9-13), for the scroll of the LORD has nothing missing (Isa34:16-17). The words of the Bible which are explained are Jesus himself (Lk24:25-27)--the word of GOD our Savior (Ti2:10). Freely we have received, freely we now give (Mt10:8). GOD overlooks the sins of men committed in times of their ignorance, and commands men everywhere to repent now, turning from the doctrine of men to the sound doctrine of GOD. For only in the word of GOD can we gain Christ (Col1:25-27). The Bible is the word of GOD, and has been turned into the word of men again and again while interpreted with the word of men by human wisdom. Jesus says: To worship GOD in human precepts and commandments is in vain (Mt15:7-9). That's the point of the post! Where are you now, tom?May the mercy of the LORD be with us!john

2. The devil was a murderer and a liar from the beginningGe 4:4 But Abel brought fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it." 8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. 9 Then Yahweh said to Cain, "Where is your brother Abel?" "I don't know," he replied. "Am I my brother's keeper?"After Cain killed Abel, he also lied afraid to be condemned.Jn 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. The devil is a murderer from the beginning, and the father of lies. To lie is one’s own language, under the power of the devil.

3. Why did Cain murder Abel, not Abel murder Cain?1Jn 3:12 Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil and his brother's were good. 13 Do not be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you. 14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death. 15 Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him.Good:Mt 19:16 Now a man came up to Jesus and asked, "Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?" 17 "Why do you ask me about what is good?" Jesus replied. "There is only One who is good. (There is none good but one, that is, God) If you want to enter life, obey the commandments." God is good. That is, Abel spoke the word of God, and Cain spoke the word of his own and belonged to the evil one.

4.The devil is the father of murderersLk 22:2 and the chief priests and the teachers of the law were looking for some way to get rid of Jesus, for they were afraid of the people. 3 Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve. 4 And Judas went to the chief priests and the officers of the temple guard and discussed with them how he might betray Jesus. 5 They were delighted and agreed to give him money. 6 He consented, and watched for an opportunity to hand Jesus over to them when no crowd was present.Jn 13:2 And during supper, the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him,Jn 13:21 After he had said this, Jesus was troubled in spirit and testified, "I tell you the truth, one of you is going to betray me." 22 His disciples stared at one another, at a loss to know which of them he meant. 23 One of them, the disciple whom Jesus loved, was reclining next to him. 24 Simon Peter motioned to this disciple and said, " Tell us who it is of whom he speaks." 25 Leaning back against Jesus, he asked him, "Lord, who is it?" 26 Jesus answered, "It is the one to whom I will give this piece of bread when I have dipped it." Then, dipping the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, son of Simon. 27 As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. "What you are about to do, do quickly," Jesus told him, 28 but no one at the meal understood why Jesus said this to him. 29 Since Judas had charge of the money, some thought Jesus was telling him to buy what was needed for the Feast, or to give something to the poor. 30 As soon as Judas had taken the bread, he went out. And it was night.

5.The teaching of the Scriptures about do not murderGe 4:23 Lamech said to his wives, "Adah and Zillah, listen to me; wives of Lamech, hear my words. I have killed a man for wounding me, a young man for injuring me. 24 If Cain is avenged seven times, then Lamech seventy-seven times." Killing others is wounding oneself, and injuring others is harming oneself.Ex 34:6 And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, "Yahweh, Yahweh, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, 7 maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation."Mt 5:21 "You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, `Do not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.' 22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, `Raca, ' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, `You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell. 23 "Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift. 25 "Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still with him on the way, or he may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison. 26 I tell you the truth, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny.1Jn 3:13 Do not be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you. 14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death. 15 Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him. 16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. 17 If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? 18 Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.Mt 23:35 And so upon you will come all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berekiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. 36 I tell you the truth, all this will come upon this generation.Lk 11:51 from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who was killed between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I tell you, this generation will be held responsible for it all.Jer 32:17 "Ah, LORD Yahweh! you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you. 18 You show love to thousands but bring the punishment for the fathers' sins into the laps of their children after them. O great and powerful God, whose name is Yahweh Almighty, 19 great are your purposes and mighty are your deeds. Your eyes are open to all the ways of men; you reward everyone according to his conduct and as his deeds deserve.
