We know that our animal friends have feelings... but does that mean that they have souls ? Are there animals in Heaven ?

All animals have souls (mind, will and emotions) but they lack spirit, or a spiritual center. As far as animals in heaven---yes, seeing as Jesus will be riding on a horse, w eknow that there are certain animals in heaven now, but we also know from scripture that the New Earth is the kingdom where we will live and reifn with Christ, and we know that all will be renewed and restored by God, so there will be millions of animals of all species here, and those who have a ferocious reputation will be changed to peaceable.

Isaiah 11:6
The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

Isaiah 65:25
The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

Psalms 49
...
[sup]5 [/sup]Why should I fear in the days of evil,
When the iniquity at my heels surrounds me?
[sup]6 [/sup]Those who trust in their wealth
And boast in the multitude of their riches,
[sup]7 [/sup]None of them can by any means redeem his brother,
Nor give to God a ransom for him—
[sup]8 [/sup]For the redemption of their souls is costly,
And it shall cease forever—
[sup]9 [/sup]That he should continue to live eternally,
And not see the Pit.

[sup]10 [/sup]For he sees wise men die;
Likewise the fool and the senseless person perish,
And leave their wealth to others.
[sup]11 [/sup]Their inner thought is that their houses will last forever,
Their dwelling places to all generations;
They call their lands after their own names.
[sup]12 [/sup]Nevertheless man, though in honor, does not remain;
He is like the beasts that perish.

So people and animal spirits perish? You get this from that verse?

Did you think I missed the Psalm the first time? I didn't.

My problem is not with the author or his message, it is with the messenger's interpretation.

The correct interpretation is that all people die at the end of their Earthly lives, just like animals. It is talking about physical dead! Your interpretation actually suggests that neither man nor animals have souls.

God wrote the words. It seems YOU wish to interpret them differently than written. Thus my council for YOU to make any changes YOU deem necessary to meet YOUR agendas. Please let us know what YOU come up with so that we can all make YOUR recommended changes in our Bibles.

And if I might, PLEASE advise us as to the concise text YOU wish to delete, and also the concise text YOU wish to be inserted, for each change, -- i.e.:

Change From: xxxxxxxxxxxx

If animals have a spirit where God can swell, then wy do we eat them? Jesus didn't include them in His salvation plan. They have souls, whoch makes them thinking, and somewhat reasoning beings acording to their own God-given specialized abilities, but they have no center in them for the Holy Spirit to live and dwell, and frankly, anyone who thinks that they are on a par with humans have to read Genesis again with fresh eyes to see that only we have been breathed into with the breath of life, making us spiritual beings, and created in the image of God.

Actually, God used a human being to write some Hebrew words that were translated into English by other men. You sure like to skip a lot of steps involved ...... is that how you got your interpretation as well? It seems to me that you completely disregarded the context of the ONE sentence that seems to support your interpretation.

I will pray for you - that God will send His Spirit to help you understand his word.

AMEN

Why do YOU credit others for YOUR "interpretation" of Scripture? YOU seem quite certain that there's a gap between what God intended and the prophets wrote, and of course YOU'RE here to clarify/correct/cancel/create new understandings which apparently defy existing dictionary definitions of words employed, and contextual boundries.

Jesus only did as He received from the Father, but he also said "greater things shall ye do". I just didn't expect in would be manifest here in this Forum under YOUR Authorship. Wow, -- I'm impressed!

Yeah, you can go play by yourself now. You have made it plan that you are only looking for a mirror to reflect back your clarity and brilliance.
