I believe that when babylon is destroyed in rev.18 (which is new york city),the un or its equivalent by then will be moved to jerusalem.The man of sin will eventually rule from there.After ww1 we had the league of nations,then after ww2 we had the united nations.I believe after ww3,which is probably when new york gets destroyed,we will eventually see a modified version of this step up in jerusalem

Kriss: 1) I was actualy reffering to the nice way a few posts were laid out with a fewnice headings, followed by a nice layout of descending scripure refferences, as a good example of a way to lay out scriptural outlines -becuase some of these posts have so much material in crowded formats ( of which I can be quilty of ) as to be so burdensome to read. 2) Secondly the Book I recomended "End Time Delusions" is a well written book by a saved Messianic Jew, and it is well documented that The Jesuits wereinvolved in such intrigue, that several nations were upset with them, and that they had infact manufactured the modern resurection and creation of End Time theories, to distract from the fact that they wanted to take the light off of them, once the protestants had realized that the Spirit of the antichrist has allways been present within the church, and had extensive scriptural basis for such, as the protestants were well researched for a while. 3) and that it has been researched and well documented that the Knights templar were so feared that certain kingdoms in Europe feared to challenge them, and therefore just reported them destroyed, and that they did have a very large fleet of ships at the time, as they transported much in the Mediteranean and Europe, previously involved in transporting crusaders, and involved in comerce, as a result of their holdings and banking system, and Templar artifacts have been found proving during their 1st nine years in Jerusalem, when these nine poor knights were supposed to be guarding pilgrams, were actualy performing excavations in Jerusalem, and Historic Swiss and Scotish accounts, account for their help, in their fights for sovereignty, etc.., and 4) I listen to My Bible just fine, but have been presenting much from memory, explaining that biblical threads require a lot of work to tie them down, because they relate to other threads, which people refuse to acknowledge they do relate to -and therefore am not very heavy with the scripture quotes at this time, stating I am sick, and ask others to look up the threads of ideas I sugest they look up by My mentioning them. I feel a pope bashing coming, but I read it both ways.A Religious/Spiritual leader in control of a political body or organization or a Political leader with the backing of a religion and it's spiritual counsel.This could apply to either the Pope and the (sorry catholics)Roman Catholic church (political in nature because of the Jesuits)Or it could be Islam - Strict Islamic states (Iran or Saudi) have the closest merging of state and religion in Sharia.So a likely candidate could be our old friend Am a dinner jihad (political leader) with the backing of Islam by proxy (mullahs etc)This is probably too simplistic a theory and needs developing but does not take into consideration any other world players ie.
