Based only on content, which covenant do you find the most interesting to read..and why?

Personally, I think the material in the OT has a slight edge over the NT. I tend to visualize scenes as I read the bible and the OT can be really exciting and great for the imagination. It really covers every genre of book out there. I use to have a bias for the NT, since we are under grace and all, but the more I read the OT, the more interesting it seems to get. I started reading Daniel today and couldn't stop reading it until I finished the book. I think it's my new favorite OT book ^_^

Enough about my thoughts though, which Testament is your favorite to read, and why? :)

I agree with you Redeemed86', I love the stories in the OT, especially because they are true !!!

I love them both ^_^ The OT covenant was a shadow, a type of he who was to come and it is a beautiful journey...The NT is the shadow fulfilled in Jesus. All Praise and Glory to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!!!

According to Paul the old pales in comparison to the new.

7 The old way, with laws etched in stone, led to death, though it began with such glory that the people of Israel could not bear to look at Moses’ face. For his face shone with the glory of God, even though the brightness was already fading away.8 Shouldn’t we expect far greater glory under the new way, now that the Holy Spirit is giving life?9 If the old way, which brings condemnation, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new way, which makes us right with God!10 In fact, that first glory was not glorious at all compared with the overwhelming glory of the new way.11 So if the old way, which has been replaced, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new, which remains forever!

Just an fyi, this thread was only enjoyment level in reading, not actually putting one covenant over the other. The title may be slightly vague but I didn't want a mile long title.
