I understand,i confess to engaging in constant rebellion against the modern day purpose driven,day planner,Dale Carnegie approach to Christianity....i'm lucky if i get through the day without sinning in some big way not to mention little way,someone once told me God had a plan for my life,i responded by saying yes,to be free of sin.
Strat, I think it's OK to engage in topics and doctrines, but I never agree with engaging in personal insults or personal attacks which many do on here. When that happens to me, which is very often, I just try my best to get back on topic.
Spiritually immature and non-born again "christians" will attack you, mock you, try to tear you down, make personal attacks on you, try to turn others against you by telling everyone how evil and bad you are. But Spiritually mature and born again Christians will never resort to making personal attacks or insults and will keep focused on topic instead and avoid personal attacks and will never engage in revenge remarks, but instead be loving and kind in return.
There is NO LOVE in revengeful and nasty personal attacks, hence, by their fruit you shall recognize them. They come to you clothed in sheep's clothing, but underneath more ferocious than a wolf.
John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Maybe this can be a 2012 goal for everyone, to become LOVING at ALL TIMES to EVERYONE, no matter what they say or do, and to never ever resort to personal abuse or insults. I know that would be God's will.
