For me, a good working definition of Christian Love (apapeo) toward our fellow man is . . .

To be committed and devoted to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of others.

I think this is easier to do if we can learn to not count people's wrongdoing against them. We can recognize the wrong, but not let it affect our actions, behaviours, and especially, our feelings and attitudes. That is, not let it affect us inappropriately. We may take some certain action, but let it be only in the Lord, not because of our own internal sense of outrage.

You may hurt me. I may take action against you. But let it be if it is good for you, not because I want to hurt back.

Love in Christ,
Mark

What is best for that person?

I think different people in different situations may need different things.

It can be difficult to know sometimes, praying for wisdom and seeking Godly counsel can be very important.

Love in Christ,

Love, compassion, gracefully, respected, and I could keeping going on but I guessing you get the point. Live and die as Christ as he did on the Earth for us. I don't met go dying on a cross on us anyone. I mean showing te light and then live for every with your father. ;) I hope this make sense.

If someone you care about show them more love then you every had..... Then bring up Christian eye view every time you can because you will drill in their head and soon or later they will look into it.

We are to love each other as brethren in Christ Jesus; that's who our Lord Jesus was talking to. That love among the brethren also includes 'rebuke' when it's necessary, which is an act of love in not wanting a brother to fall into perdition.

With Christ's enemies, we are not required to go up to them and hug them, nor to prefer them over a brother in Christ.
