What are your life verses.Mine is on my signature. I've only got one at the moment.
Ephesians 6:2-10And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
It reminds me that we were created for God. Therefore we should serve him, and not worry about our worldly lives and professions. I get caught up in worldly things too often. And I constantly revive myself.

Currently I have two verses that go together a little bit, the first is Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power Ephesians 6:10Then the second one is my signatureJames 1:12Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love himthese together, for me, say that our strength to resist temptation comes from the Lord living in us. And through the Blood of the Lamb we have been approved, we then are left with the easy part, love Him who is in us and is doing so much for us because he loves us more than we could ever imagine. We, therefore, have the crown of life bestowed upon us, for God always upholds his promises:bible:

I think my best life verse(s) isProverbs 3:5-7 - Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.Combine with Luke 4:4 - And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.Lovest ye in Christ Jesus (Yahshua) our Lord and Saviour.http://www.christianityboard.com/most-impo...re-t2028p2.html

Revelation 4:6 - Before the throne there was, as it were, a sea of glass like crystal. THE GLASS SEA IS A SYMBOL: THERE ARE NO RIPPLES, NO WAVES, NO ANXIETIES TROUBLING GOD. THE LORD IS NEVER WORRIED, NEVER IN A HURRY NOR WITHOUT AN ANSWER. THE SEA AROUND HIM IS PERFECTLY STILL AND TOTALLY CALM. ALL OUR VICTORIES FLOW OUT FROM BEING SEATED HERE WITH HIM.

2 Corinthians 11:2 - I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to Him. THE BIBLE IS A BOOK OF REVERSALS. OLD THINGS BECOME NEW, THE DEAD COME TO LIFE, THE LOST ARE FOUND. EVEN THOSE WHO WERE THE VILEST OF SINNERS ARE NOW EMPOWERED BY GRACE TO BECOME THE VIRGIN BRIDE OF JESUS CHRIST.

John 14:6,7 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had know me, ye should have known My Father also: and from henceforth ye know Him, and have seen Him. Unless we can be corrected, unless we are seeking God for an unfolding reveation of His Son, Our so-called "faith" may be, in reality, just a lazy indifference, a deception concerning the things of God. Subconsciously, we may actually want a dead religion so we do not have to change. True faith is freighted with the power of God.Timothy 3:5 - Having a form of godliness, but denying the power therof: from such turn away.

Genesis 7:4 - For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth. The ark had only one door, symbolic of Christ who is the only door to reach God. There came a day, prior to the flood, when they were told to enter the ark, and shut themselves in. Just as Noah was able to rest within the ark, secure from the waters of death, so we can be assured of spiritual rest, for our lives are hidden with Christ in God. The ark was a secure refuge from certain death; it was a type of Christ, who provides spiritual refuge for all believers. Noah's obedience to the command of God to build and enter the ark typifies the believer who, by faith, receives Christ and is saved from judgment (spiritual death).Albert Finchwww.thekeys2kingdom.com

Matthew 6:13 - And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. There is no teptation or sin in heaven. This prayer does not imply that God wants to tempt us. We know from James 1:13 that it is impossible for God to entice us to sin. This kind of praying is important because it requires us to face our need for grace. It helps us to align our heart with heaven -- one of absolute dependency on God. The phrase "deliver us from evil," as it is traditionally rendered, actually means, "deliver us from the evil one." A heart modled after heaven has great success in spiritual warfare. Jesus was able to say, "satan has nothing in me." The believer is to be completely free from all satanic influence and attachments. That is the cry voiced in this prayer.Albert Finchwww.thekeys2kingdom.com

John 8:32 -- "If you abide in My word, you are truly My disciples. And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free." Some have thought being nice was of the same essence as knowing the truth. It is Not. We can thank our parents that we are nice but, if we would know the truth, we must seek God and be willing to obey Him.Albert Finchwww.thekeys2kingdom.com

Psalm 115:8 -- They who make idols are like hem; so are all who trust in and lean on them. If our knowledge about God is not charged with the life and power of God, mere knowledge becomes an idol in our minds. It is easy for us to have ideas and images of God that are untrue, which the Holy Spirit would remove if we would let Him. The power of Christ's life is filtered and proportionally diminished by the number of these wrong images existing within us.Matthew 24:4 -- Jesus answered them, "Be careful that no one misleads you (deceiving you and leading you into error)."Albert Finchwww.thekeys2kingdom.com

1 John 2:15 - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.Someone said, "You can look, but don't touch." This is bad advice. There is much visual distraction today. It's easy to be lured away into worldly thinking and be deceived by the enemy by (continually) looking at something that is beneath a Christian's dignity. Job 31:1 - "I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?"What we alow ourselves to see will dictate what we think. The scripture says, "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he" (Proverbs 23:7). But the verse right before it says "Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye.."It has been said "If you hang out at the Barber Shop long enough you are going to get a haircut." If we allow our eyes to see things they shouldn't, we will eventually wind up doing it. Satan gives a very bad haircut, and in the long run it will turn out to be an expensive one. Don't have a bad hair day.Albert Finchwww.thekeys2kingdom.com

1 Thessalonians 5:23 - May the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept sound and blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Observation When the word of God is abiding in me and functioning properly, it works on me first before it works on my circumstances, "separating" my spirit, my soul (mind, will, and emotions), and my body and getting my spirit into a position whiere I can hear God without the influence of my soul or bodyAlbert Finchwww.thekeys2kingdom.com

Whose Approval Am I Seeking?Acts 26:16,17 "But rise and stand upon your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you to serve and bear witness to the things in which you have seen me and to those in which I will appear to you, delivering you from the people and from the Gentiles--to whom I send you...... John 11:44 - And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus said unto them, "Loose him, and let him go." It is the responsibility of the people of God who witness spiritual resurrection to loose those who get saved by the power of God so that they can go. God wants us to fly like eagles but we can't do it if we're still bound by the grave clothes of our old life. Albert Finchhttp://www.thekeys2kingdom.com

This particular verse made my mouth drop and catapulted me to want exactly what it said ---in so many ways from all directions - to deeply contemplate what exactly it meant --- :) I hope someone sees what I saw... This is what the Lord says:"Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and knows me,that I am the Lord, who exercses kindness justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight," declares the Lord. NIV Jer 9:23-4................................................................................................................. Yahweh says this, 'Let the sage not boast of wisdom, nor the valiant of valour, nor the wealthy of riches! But let anyone who wants to boast, boast of this:of understanding and knowing me.For I am Yahweh, who acts with faithful love, justice, and righteousness on earth;yes, these are what please me,'Yahweh declares. The New Jerusalem BibleJer 9:22-23 (Bec some of you don't have it, but you have the others.) :)Elaine

Elaine, I do believe I mentioned this verse elsewhere, but I cannot stress to you the number of times this verse keeps coming up to me in the past week or so. I believe I've already commented on this once here at CB, but man it's so powerful to see this coming up over and over and resonating with so many, myself blessed to be included!
