Animals in Heaven?Dr. Jack & Rexella Van Impe
For anyone who has ever lost a beloved pet, Dr. Jack and Rexella Van Impe have good news! You will see your furry or feathered friends again - in heaven! Explore this exciting truth taught by twelve of the greatest Christian theologians. You will see and hear the exact spine-tingling statements from the pens of men like Dr. John Walvoord, Dr. Billy Graham, Dr. J. Vernon McGee, Dr. John Calvin and many others. This video study deals with animal intelligence, animal communication, and how animals literally teach humans some valuable lessons.
http://www.jvim.com/I have always wondered about this, does any one know any biblical precedences on this subject? I hope it's true and we do get to have all our lost pets in Heaven as well as any present ones. If true I will have to get an Ark to keep all mine in!!!

I'm more than positive that there will be animals in Heaven or "New Jerusalem". But I don't know if our furry friends will be there

The thing is, the bible doesn't say anything about animals in hevan but it does talk about animals on the new earth in the book of Revelation towards the climax of the story.

Yeah, animals don't really have an importance. We're here to worship God and take care of his creatures. Looks like we messed both of our jobs up.

This is utter foolishness; we must be guided by God's word and not by men, with clever but deceitful doctrines. No dought some will as it was in Paul’s day.2 Timothy 4:4 (KJV) 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

There are some comforting verses in the Bible that show God doesn't forget animals.."God.. in whose hand is the soul of every living thing" (Job 12:10)Jesus said:-"God won't forget the death of a sparrow" (Matthew 10:29)To comfort a child (and ourselves) when grieving for a dead pet, it might be alright to tell them that even though we regard pets as belonging to us, they really belong to God, its as if he lets us look after them for a little while and then calls them back to him because he misses them so much..God said - "Every animal of the forest is MINE, and the cattle on a thousand hills.I know every bird in the mountains, and the creatures of the field are MINE,for the world is MINE, and all that is in it" (Psalm 50:10-12)

In the time of Noah, God saved all living things. The point is how are they saved from the fall. I believe the best way forward is to trust God and his ability to know what is best for the animals.

It's one thing for the scriptures to mention what you quoted above, but then to believe that it means that animals will inherit salvation is adding to the scriptures what is not there.By the way, Mathew 10:29 simply means that nothings dies, including the sparrow without God knowing about it. In fact nothing exist apart from the will of God….. it does not mean that the sparrow is in heaven, or will be resurrected from the dead.

I'm in the same boat...have loved and lost many a pet.I don't know the answers to this one but everytime I lose a pet it comforts me to think someday I may see them again in Heaven. So I'm just going to let myself have that one. Surely God does not mind my hoping this is possible.

Yes, according to the Bible, lions and other fiersce one will become just like lambs and other gentle animals and none attacks anyone. thank you YHWH and Jesus:)

BTW, heaven is where Spirit beings like God, Jesus and angels are and we humans live in paradice earth like Adam and Eve lived before they sinned against God. Of course God's people will have eternal life just like Adam and Eve supposed to have. God brings his original plan after 1000 years of Jesus' reign.

Since I don't follow theologians, but only have one teacher and that's the Christ, then no, since pets don't understand the law, they can neither disobey it or be redeemed from it.

We don't even know what heaven IS anyway, whether a solid material place or a purely spiritual realm, as there are Bible verses suggesting both.I tend to go with the 'spiritual realm' notion, where the essence of what we are is absorbed into a great 'Soul Pool' where all our souls intermingle and become one with God and Jesus. Maybe animal souls/essences are absorbed too..After all, love is a bond that can't be broken even if its for pets.A family is burying their beloved pet dog at the bottom of the garden -Child - "We'll miss him terribly"Dad - "Cheer up, he's just across the bridge"Child - "What bridge?"Dad - "The bridge is our love for him"..
